Charming midcentury getaway with gorgeous panoramic view. Impressive rock firplace and sweet path to the beach.

We had the most relaxing weekend staying at this property! Tucked away down a little gravel road, this home has beautiful beach views, beach town charm, and truly feels like it could be your family beach home. Meredith Properties is extremely responsive if you need assistance, and the listing is exactly as the photos suggest! We did crafts on the back patio, walked down to the beach via private access, and enjoyed getting coffee and bagels from the stand up the drive. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and relax on a gorgeous stretch of the Oregon coast!

Nestled in an incredible beachfront location between Waldport and Yachats, surrounded by trees and the beach, well away from the 101. Gorgeous views. There are no streetlights or other lights around, so on clear nights the stars show brightly. On the inside, we enjoyed the classic fireplace and the ample cabinets and counter space.
Meredith is well organized and responsive.
The interior is pretty dated, but maybe that’s a feature and not a bug—60s chic.
The only negatives would be that the wifi is really too slow—sometimes we were unable to watch a program we wanted. The bathtub drain needs repair, as it doesn’t hold water well, and it doesn’t drain well. For that it probably just needs Draino.
We would definitely rent it again.

Great house for us with an active dog ~ loved that she could run free on the beach, just a 4 minute walk from the house. Fireplace could use a cleaning (flu seemed to work inefficiently - as was reported by others; lots of smoke when starting) The house had a strong smokey smell. Fortuntately it was warm enough to keep doors open for ventilation. Well equipped kitchen, beds & linens need serious upgrading : / Location, location, location would have us return!

Brought my wife and 83 year old mother. Except for a few steps into the place it was easy to get around. The view was awesome, northern lights enhanced it all. Mom worked hard all my life and struggles to sleep flat in a bed. A bad shoulder, back and knees really hampers her mobility. The house comes equipped with a lift chair which was a pleasant surprise. This allowed mom to watch the ocean night and day. The seashell collection is amazing, and watching wales and sea lions was a treat. Thank you for a splendid time, and i recommend this home for anyone who needs a comfy place to stay.

This house is a charming 50s vintage beach house with a great seashell collection. The ocean views were great. It was clean and well supplied. We had a great time.

This is a vintage cabin but well maintained. The view was spectacular.

Our stay was great! The view from the house is incredible and the size of the place worked well for us and our two dogs. The beach is a short walk away and really beautiful. As our dogs were running around on the beach, we got to see the seals popping up their heads in the water nearby.

We really enjoyed the wonderful view. Beach access was easy to get to and close to the house. The main bath could use some help, but it was useable. The second bath is basically in the garage so in February it was too cold to use. The house really smelled from the fireplace.
But overall we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves.

Super clean. The walk to the beach was close and the views were fantastic!

Wonderful property, beautiful windows, clean & comfortable. Yard well maintained. Could use a handrail on the front porch. We will be back.

Fantastic ocean views and perfectly situated between Waldport and Yachats. The kitchen was well supplied for our Thanksgiving meal preparations and was open to the living room and the wonderful ocean views. The beach is accessible however walking and beach access instructions could be updated to be clearer for our of town visitors. The seashell collection is large and impressive but could use a deep dusting to further appreciate the depth of the collection. Towels and blankets were well supplied for our stay but a request was left to "wash and dry as many towels as possible before departure". Isn't this part of the reason why we pay a cleaning fee during the booking process? Would still book this place again bc of location, amenities, and being able to have our dog stay with us.

It was clean but a bit musty and in need of a modest updating. Crisp new sheets would also help. We were surprised that wood and kindling for the fireplace were not provided. The den area is small, with no coffee table.
Still, the bluff view was amazing. The place was well-equipped. The smart tv hook up and wi-fi worked well.

We had a great time, the view from the house is unbelievable, the house was very clean and cozy, but it is definitely time to replace the carpet and furniture upholstery it is worn out and stained.
It was an awesome getaway!

This cottage was exactly what we wanted. We wanted to get out of the valley and just sip some wine and stare at the ocean with the cool breezes. That’s what we did for three days. Are the reviewers talk about all the different things there are to do in the Waldport area and all that’s true. but for us the cottage was just so comfortable and exactly what we wanted. There’s a lot of history in this place. It is a cherished family Marilyn.

Awesome location, couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Less than a 5 minute walk to a great sandy beach. The house was very comfortable and had great big windows looking out on the ocean. Will definitely be telling others about it.

The property was mostly as advertised. There isn’t really a yard. 5 minute walk to coffee and the beach. Overall a good stay.

We loved our visit. Nice small place. The 2nd bathroom took some searching to find. And one burner on the stove didn’t work. But overall it’s hard to beat that view.

We were surprised to find the beach access easier than anticipated. Home was clean and a great spot for us to relax.

We had a very nice time. Took a couple of walks on the beach with the dog each day. Easy access to the beach and a nice park just a short distance away. Very quiet neighborhood. Great view of the ocean. Comfortable home feels like a cabin.
