Very nice place, very affordable compared to pgh hotels.

Just good enough for the price

I met three staff during my stay, and they were all real nice. The room was clean. I was five floors up, so it was pleasant quiet, too. Areas for improvement include the laundry room, where services didn’t exist, despite being promised. The TV not working was not that big a deal, but I reported it on my first night, and nothing was ever done or even mentioned by staff. I noticed other small evidence of inattention to detail, but like I say, it was a quiet, clean room, and I liked the people too. I might stay again sometime down the road.

I liked the keyless entry and notifications on my stay. However the room was pretty dirty. Crumbs all over the floor, stained sheets, crud on the door handles and faucet handles, and hair on the floor and shower were just some of the missed cleaning.

It was the 1st time I stayed at this place. And like it because have everything that I need and the distance was perfect.
The only thing I will said if you rent a car be prepared to pay alot for parking. But I learn how to park in front of the building and not paying. For parking😂

Communication was a bit lacking, they picked up after I called 4 times when the code to the front door wasn’t working. I also emailed but got a response pretty late, and by that time someone already let me in the door. Code to the room also took a few tries to work. I entered the same code a couple of times for it to actually open. Property itself was good! Relatively clean with a full kitchen, mainly it’s just the communication that was lacking.

You need to fix the washing machines and Dryers

I did not read my email before check-in, so we had a code to enter the property and we’re in fear that our reservation was cancelled. After a couple attempts to contact the manager, we were able to get our code with no issue. The manager was super friendly and helpful, which made my wife happy after my screw up. The property was clean and felt safe. Excellent price for downtown Pittsburgh, especially during Picklesburg and the Phillies in town. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice area and setup

Really enjoyed my stay!

Room service staff did not manage numbers properly and ignored my text messages for over an entire day; room had broken parts with bathroom toilet & towel mounts fallen off; downstairs laundry room has broken card readers and did not function

First and foremost this has been the worst experience once again. I mean 100% off when it came to communication. Very ghetto and distasteful. I didn’t get to check in until after 6pm! All because they don’t do their job, nobody sent me an access code but took my money with no hesitation. Once I did the most to get the code they acted like it was in my email which shows it didn’t come until after 6pm. Nobody showed any consideration being as though I sat outside in the front for hours. She just answered the phone with an attitude then had the nerve to come knock at my door at 10:30’when checkout is at 11am. Apartment looks like a filthy housing project. Holes in the blanket just complete filth and laziness! NEVER AGAIN

Nice unit and building. Bare minimum (or less) on quite a few items. No ice trays in freezer. Only two very old small towels to use. No glasses or cups, only two plastic coffee mugs. Cheapest furniture money can “buy”. Spend a few bucks on upgrading these.

Property itself is fine. But...
Poor communication. Informed them about temperature being too cold through email and text. But never got a response and had to sleep with clothes on.
Window shades were too thin to block light from outside.

For having 6 kids this was perfect. Walked to the concert at PPG. Great price!

First off, we had to stand out side for over an hour because Stay Pittsburg wouldn’t give us a code to get into the room. I had to have hotels.com finally get a code for me.
The rooms suck and very out dated with crappy beds.
The location is terrible.
The front door was broken so you had to walk around the dark back side of the building and use a back door.
NO ac or heat controls in the room so you can’t control the temperature.

Great staff and management. Extremely clean property. In the middle of downtown!

The floors in the bathroom and bedroom didn’t look like they had been swept or mopped.

The room and the location were fine..... HOWEVER the customer service was far from. I purchased additional time for a late checkout. I had a paypal confirmation of this. On the Thursday before my stay I messaged Stay Pittsburgh on hotels.com inquiring about confirming my late checkout and received no response. I received emails about check in procedures and was also reminded about checkout time unless I had purchased additional time. I responded to the text to confirm that I did have a late checkout. I was told the latest I could late check out was 2pm for and additional $10 per hour. I responded that I had already paid for the additional time and had a paypal receipt to prove. Several times I tried to send screen shots of these receipts, which were apparently "not received". At this point I am well into a course preview run of the Pittsburgh marathon and planned everything around my late checkout. Finally, on the late attempt my screen shots were received but my late checkout "could not be accommodated". I got back to Stay Pittsburgh to find the code on the door had been changed and it took more than 30 min of texting and calling unanswered numbers to get a new code. When I finally was able to get to my room I found all of my belongings had been removed and placed in the hallway on a different floor. I had intended to use the late checkout to be able to get cleaned up and do some post run recovery from my 20 plus mile run. But instead I drove 3.5 hours home

Can’t beat the price or location in downtown Pittsburgh. Extremely convenient for travelers who chose to drive instead of fly in. The parking garage nearby has parking for $25 a day and is come and go as you please. Will definitely be staying here again.

For the price, you can’t beat it but no extras at all. Take quick showers for hot water is rare. Loy of annoying messages too.

Excellent location, clean property

Amazing I loved it. Wonderful place to lay back and relax with respectful.

Convenient & clean. Biggest issue was panhandlers at the front entrance. We felt unsafe coming and going from the property.

Room was nice clean

got very drafty in main living area at end of stay, no heater was provided

The property is decent and clean. The room is private like an apartment versus studio. I parked in a parking garage where you have to pay by the hour and there’s no where to park outside the building unless you get lucky or plan on getting a ticket or towed. Inside the building it was hard to find the elevators because there’s multiple doors and no direction for where to find the elevator.

Its a great location.. the elevator didnt work so I got my exercise in! Really a nice affordable place to stay in the city.
3.0
Good value even though the property seems to be difficult to maintain. I have stayed 3 times and it's a good value but the stairs were not swept between the last two times I was there and the last time the elevator was out and when I went to use the rear elevator with my luggage the maintenance man (older man with a beard) was a bit rude and wouldn't give me the code to get in and neither offered to let me in. Another man was coming out so I went in. (This is the same maintenance man that was smoking in front of the main entrance one morning) the third time i stayed here, the first day, I got an email about anything that I might need to make stay more enjoyable and asked for a sauce pan and if possible a toaster and when I checked out 3 days later never got. Good Value but you have to know that you are basically on your own.

Great Value; very upkept property, nice smell to the place but could have had a kitchen towel and kettle in kitchen

Our trip was almost ruined by booking at this location. They gave us the incorrect rooms from what was booked 2-3 months ago. We nor Expedia customer care were not able to contact the complex. We had two adults that had to sleep in a car due to not having enough beds to sleep in and every other hotel location in a 50 mile radius was booked for the weekend. Truly horrible experience and will never book here again.
1.5
First thing is once you book with hotels.com you have to wait for a second email from stay with a door code, it’s an automated building. I never received the email and had to call hotels.com customer service to get it. There is no one from the hotel on site, at all, ever, except at check out time. The hotel is kind of in a sketchy part of downtown, not super safe for families or ladies. The hotel itself is kind of dilapidated, not the level of quality you would expect with a chain. Shower is tiny but the room has a fridge and microwave so there’s that. The location is central so if you need a room to crash and sleep it works for that and not much else.

A nice little budget apartment for anyone who wants to walk to sporting events. The tile flooring wasn’t the best and the beds were a little noisy but not uncomfortable. Also, the remote wasn’t working very well. Overall, not a bad place to stay in the city especially for the price.
