We stayed here for Essence Festival and couldn't have chosen a better accommodation. It was a pleasant and quiet neighborhood away from the festival noise. Peter and Ruby were fantastic hosts and we had the pleasure of meeting their wonderful friend Mr. Lee Eddie too. Peter is a great conversationalist and story teller who would come out of his introverted shell to share the most interesting stories during breakfast. Ruby is a bubbly and attentive, and ensured that she had considered every single detail to make our stay a pleasurable one. Not a single stone was left unturned for comfort in this accommodation. We were extremely pleased and look forward to visiting some time in the future.

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed! The Inn keepers are phenomenal! I’ve been recommending to all my friends!
I loved everything!

The owners Peter and Ruby were really lovely. Peter joined us each morning for breakfadt and regaled us in stories and general chat on current affairs - really enjoyable. Plenty of free parking and close to bars, shops and restaurants. We were near Lake Pontchartrain which was a very quiet and safe area. It was easy to drive to Cemetries to park up and get street cars to downtown.
All good

If you are looking for accommodations in the New Orleans area, I highly recommend Rose Manor Bed & Breakfast inn. It is located in a quiet suburban area a short distance from both the airport and French quarter. Ruby and Pete were very hospitable and personal making us feel right at home. Our flight was delayed and they stayed up to receive us even though it was the middle of the night. Pete also gave us recommendations on places to visit and must-see attractions. The room was comfortable and decorated with beautiful antique furniture and art. All in all we were very pleased with our visit and would stay here again!

Everything about the Rose Manor Inn was fantastic. The hosts are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortables. It’s not far from the things we wanted to do. Free parking. Will definitely try and stay here again!

There were several restaurants (from seafood, to ramen, to burgers/fries) within walking distance. The inn was also very close to the French quarter and many other tourist attractions such as museums/galleries/city parks.

The location was great! Really enjoyed the host and her husband. Would definitely stay again!
Our room was at the back of the house which was awesome for privacy but the water for showers took awhile to heat up.

It’s located in a place near de Lac Pontchartrain where here are so nice restaurants with seafood, like “Blue Crab” ( we like a lot) and on the other side supermarket and pharmacy. To go to the city center we must take the Bus 45 and tram 27, it takes around 1 h and we pay only, 1,25 $. If you have a car you have free parking in the front of the house.
The breakfast is great and owners are a couple very kind.
The house is very silent.
Our room located in groundfloor has less natural light and the lighting is weak very dificult to read in the sofa.
The climatization ( AC) is above the bed , wich is not confortable.

Ruby and Pete have created a lovely home from home. They were extremely helpful and happily made another room available for us when we decided to extend our stay. It was a pleasure to meet them and chat to Pete and their other guests over breakfast. Hope Lee gets his house sorted soon!

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and both Peter and Ruby welcomed us. They were very informative and were quick to give us suggestions on places to go and things to do. The room was very clean and large we stayed in the king-size bedroom. The entire home was beautiful and had a lot of places to relax and chill out and read a book or just hang out. In the morning they had coffee available and other non-hot items which were good. Parking was great and security was good as well. I would recommend anyone coming into New Orleans to stay here. Not downtown, but you can always take a bus or trolley. We loved the stay.

It was a wonderful experience living here! The place is run by an old british couple who were extremely warm and welcoming. We had the most delightful worldly conversations during the breakfast with the host, a memory that I will treasure forever. The rooms are very comfortable, with all the amenities provided and the interior was an amalgamation of chinese and british aesthetics, which was extremely pleasing for eyes. The place is away from the hustle bustle of the city, exactly how I would have preferred. I would highly recommend staying here!
Nothing to be honest

Our room was beautiful. But perhaps the best thing about this place are Pete and Ruby, who were so friendly and helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again. They have ample parking, btw.

I loved my stay! Ruby and Peter are wonderful hosts and make it a point to make everyone feel at home. While they no longer serve a full breakfast due to Covid, there was a very nice and big continental selection with lots of extra goodies. They know the town well and can make suggestions on what to do or where to go. I would much rather stay here than a hotel any day! See you next time I come back to New Orleans!
There was nothing I didn't like during my visit!

Nice off the road b&b. Everything in style, complete breakfast, nice terras to spend some good times. Host Peter shares valuable recommandations on where to go to in the city to see the real Nola without following in the footsteps of millions of tourists.
.Not really anything disappointed us.

Putting aside the beautiful rooms, excellent location (very near where I've lived before and less than a mile to our sailboat) and a wonderful breakfast selection, though I'd add a pancake or waffle maker if possible, putting all that aside, it was the owners, Ruby and Peter who made my stay so wonderful. They were uncommonly friendly, warm and professional. Every room had their special touches, and they never bothered me in my room even once. I wouldn't mind so much if they had, since everything was in place to enhance their guests' experience.
The answer is nothing really. I mentioned a waffle machine. But I liked everything just as it was. I enjoy getting my own breakfast and they certainly never ran out of anything. They had an ample selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, juices, milk, coffee, and several biscuits and some incredibly delicious cupcakes, as well as a few other Hostess treats.
