Our stay was exceptional. The staff was outstanding and the access to the trolley was a bonus. The kindness of the staff was amazing. The rooms were huge with plenty of room for two for a longer stay.
The only problem I had was that there was no grab bar in the shower and that is a safety feature. The other problem was just one sink. and no other areas to store personal items. A few shelves in the shower area would be a great addition along with a safety bar in the shower.

The property was not close to all of the activity, but still within distance. The property was quiet for most of the stay. The employees were very accommodating when needed.
The key cards always had to be reset before entering the room again. It got to the point where I asked them to reset the key before going up to the room on the elevator so I wouldn’t have to come back down. Apparently the keys are really sensitive with being close to anything magnetic, including your phone.

Location and value were excellent. Very clean. Free parking and access to the street car was great.

Staff was so friendly and accommodating. No matter what time we came in, there was someone to greet us at the desk. Also loved the free parking!
We could tell the room had not been thoroughly cleaned... there was someone's used soap bar in the shower, as well as things on the floor, like nuts of some sort.

Maybe it was just a bad day for the hotel, but here is what happened:
1) The first rom had a bad smell in it, we had to move to another room
2) There was a strong smell of cleaning supplies in the hall
3) There was a water leak in the appliance room close to our room there was a loud noise from the cleaning vacuum the whole morning
4) Finally, after all of this, when we decided to check out and find another place, we were charged for the whole next day (we checked out around 1:30PM)

Location is excellent; walking distance to many activities. Staff were friendly, room was large. Quiet at night. Free secure parking was a definite plus. Sitting area in the patio was nice. Avenue Café for breakfast in next block.
Wish we could have gotten on the balcony overlooking St Charles Ave for evening drinks.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Big thank you to Leonce for sightseeing tips! Hotel is on St Charles Ave. and offers garage parking onsite for a reasonable daily fee. The famous St Charles trolley stops right in front of the hotel. If you go during Mardi Gras the parade route passes the hotel. Room 19 was well insulated for noise. Beds were comfortable. TV,
air conditioner, fridge, and coffee pot worked well.
Shower door trac needs a bit of lubricant. Toilet likes to run, so jiggle handle to make sure plunger is seated properly after flushing. I forgot to mention this to staff when I was there.

Front desk staff were amazing! First day they gave us a list of the best spots and good places to eat at so we were never questioning what to do as we had a good few days worth of activities to get through. Nice location, bourbon and decatur street were only a 10min drive away. Hotel was also nice and quiet. 10/10 would recommend. When I come back I'll definitely be booking in here again!

the staff were amazing, super professional and very kind. we loved how all the staff recognized us and remembered our schedule to help accommodate us better when we come in from work. housekeeping and front desk have been amazing as well as the manager, she was amazing. Leo was also extremely helpful and very kind. we will continue to stay at this resort just because of them.
absolutely nothing. everything was perfect

I like that the hotel is located right in front of a trolley stop that will tale you to the French Quarter or the City Park. Rooms are nicely appointed and spacious.
The AC unit in my room was extremely loud and would wake me up out of my sleep when it kicked on at night. Also blackout curtains didn't move to cover the whole window only part of it.

There could’ve been a better selection of breakfast items. We only saw graham crackers and goldfish
The towels were dirty and the second night there were no small towels available

The Staff at the hotel were so friendly, the rooms were very pretty and lush. Our king suite had enough room for our whole party to sit comfortably. The room was very clean and all the decor was very stylish. It started raining and the staff gave us umbrellas, which was so kind. I did appreciate the text communication for the rooms and letting us know when they became available.
The Booking.com site was not accommodating when we tried to change the credit card to make the payment. One of the rooms was FULLY charged before we even got there. We asked to be close together, but one of our party was on another floor. We put all of our names on the various rooms and it didnt appear the information was forwarded to the hotel to help reference our rooms. There was no place to eat in the hotel, most of the sitting was outside, in the summer in NOLA, this is not nice, some way to cool the areas should have been made available. The garage was dark and with the holes in the roof during the rain made it dangerous to walk through. I felt very unsafe even during the day. Some guy came out of the darkness and was within feet of me, It scared me. Someone or some type of lighting needs to be added. The "breakfast" was a few apples and oranges. The restaurant and bar has been blocked and closed, we were told it was now an event center. There was no one there to help us unload our bags and no real place to wait in the vehicle near the entrance. The worse of all, there was nigh construction with lights going directly in to the room and no way to black it out. The noise actually woke up 2 members of our party in different areas of the hotel. Some of the windows for "the view" had some milky film on them, you could only use a few of the windows to see "the view". Since the hotel didn't offer any where to eat, it shouldnt appear on the website, that's very misleading. We had planned to have our other family and friends join us there, that was such a disappointment.

The staff was friendly from the start. Very informative as this was our first trip to Nola.

Previous Reviews….were right!!!
Rooms were comfortable, spacious and the decor up to date! Slept great. Off street secure parking a plus. Great staff! Friendly and helpful. A welcome change from some properties. Trolley Car literally across the street.
“Covid” took the restaurant out.

The room was fantastic - spacious, comfortable, clean.
The common areas were not as great - cheapish decor, and smelling strongly of industrial cleaner (especially the elevator - almost gag-inducing odor). Staff was notably lackluster in terms of enthusiasm and professionalism.

loved the decorating. it was clean and comfortable. also very quiet
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
