Personal muy atento, con muy buena disposición.
Un poco lejos del centro.

Les soirées organisées tous les soirs, rencontres faciles. L'emplacement est top. Salle de bain propre
Manque une lumière individuelle dans les dortoirs.

Robert is a nice guy and makes us feel at home. Great connection with the other travellers. Good recommendations on the city. He also managed rooms so I could stay for one more night given flight cancelled.
Beds were a bit noisy. No breakfast service as described. Internet fails a lot.

It was such a cute, cozy, and extremely clean hostel. It was pretty empty when i went so no noise and had the dorm room all to myself. They also have great amenities. Great work/office room, a music room an awesome patio. Amazing location.
Honestly 0 complaints

The place was very clean.
I love the fact you put the forgotten products as something to everyone to use instead of just throwing away.
I would love if they make bed reservation instead of first come, first served.

everything was so clean, comfortable and close to the bus or tranvia to go to the center!

Close to the city and street car. Entire kitchen if you were interested in cooking something over going out. Bathroom has two shower heads with great water pressure.
Beds felt a little unstable and very squeaky if you moved AT ALL. I’m 6’5” 220 lbs so maybe the top bunk wasn’t the best choice but it was the only bunk available at check in but would definitely suggest a bottom bunk if you’re a bigger guy like me.

In general, hostels are not a big thing in the USA. There are few of them, and most are not really good. But this one is a true travellers hostel, just the way it's meant to be. It's run by people who like whay they do. They clearly know what makes a hostel, and go through all necessary efforts to provide you with the information/help you need. The people that stay there are actual travellers, longing to have a good time. It's clean enough, and it has a good structure and a good vibe. If you like parties, you'll have a great time.. if you want to be quiet on your own, you'll also have a good time. Very fair price for travellers, and good location in the city.
Nothing that I dislike there.

Surprisingly clean, safe and fun place to stay. Worth the money.
In the morning someone was sleeping next to our door, but it is a hostel, so no big deal.

I particularly have only good things to say about the hostel, the location is wonderful. Close to everything, restaurants, walgreens and breakfast places. In fact, Cafe Avenue has become my favorite, for those who want a calm and good place for a coffee. I loved the people, the respect for each one's space and being a woman, I thought I would be afraid to share the house with so many men, but sharing the room with the girls and our bathroom, always organized and clean, was super peaceful. In addition, the security of the passwords on the doors was very good. The whole hostel has impeccable organization and cleanliness and really, I only have amazing things and wonderful memories from there.
I ended up on the top bunk, and that was terrible for me as I'm chubby and have a broken foot. It's nobody's fault, but it bothered me a lot.

Decent facilities
Noise and lack of discipline to enforce quiet hours - resulting in noisy nights

Everything! so many facilities and the rooms were really large with great storage space.
Beds were also very comfortable.
There is also a great courtyard to chill out
Another great point about the property was the laundry that was available

The staff, the building itself, my roommates were amazing and its right around the corner from the streetcar!

Amazing vibe, the host was so friendly and hosted a get together each evening so guests could mingle. Kitchen facilities were amazing, bathrooms were so clean you could eat off the floor - entirely exceeded what you would usually expect from a hostel, especially for the price. This hostel had a friendly vibe and not a 'prison' vibe that I have found in many hostels in the US. I would definitely stay here again.
NOTHING. It was great!

The atmosphere of the people that were there. For a whole weekend in was like having a new family and friends. Being a sheltered individual, taking the risk to stay in a hostel for my first visit to NOLA was beyond what I imagined
Being my first time ever in a hostel I can't say any negative things. This was a great first experience.

Great Stuff! Maria is one of the most amazing persons I had the luck to meet.
The Price (of the hostel) was incredible low for the comfort.
3.5 / 5.0
Very friendly staff and easy check-in and check-out / Common areas and the room were very clean and in good condition / Good location within walking distance to the Garden District and Magazine St. The French Quarter can be easily reached by public transportation in 15 minutes / Free parking available along the street
The power outlet next to the bed as well as other outlets in common areas did not work / Loft bed was very noisy and the mattress was already relatively worn out
