Food very good. Everything was so nice. Very comfortable. The jet tub in our room was the best
Everything was perfect

Location was scenic and quiet

The employees at the restaurant were awesome and loved sitting outside looking at the gorgeous scenery. I feel that the food was over priced. My husband and I got the chicken Alfredo and it didn’t have a lot of flavor. For the prices we expected everything to be immaculate.

Food good, but expensive. Quiet. Beautiful grounds.
Desk clerk rude at check-in. More expensive due to taxes/“fees”. Almost $50 more than advertised on Booking.com….not worth it

I liked that everything was close together on the property.
Didn't like that there were no hangers or closet to put your clothes.

The property was beautiful. The food was amazing.
My bed was very uncomfortable. The TV is small.

I really enjoyed the whole grounds. The only thing I didn't like was the fire alarm going off but it was still beautiful and amazing.
Fire alarm going off.

The property is charming. The stables where we stayed were very nice, quiet, and comfortable.
We were using virtually every outlet and blew a breaker. Fixed immediately, and entirely understandable.

Beautiful setting and room!
There was nothing I didn’t like. I thought the cost of the room was a little high, though.

Restaurant and staff were excellent. Booking falsely advertised that I would get wine/ champagne upon arrival. The resort said that is booking's fault because no extras came with the room. Fix this problem booking.
Exercise facility was not available.

Loved the grounds. It was like living in a fairytale. Very serene. The staff was very polite.
The food at the restaurant was not that good. The hot tub in the pool area didn’t really have bubbles. It was just like sitting in a really hot bath.

I thought we were staying at the main castle, the comforter had a dirty spot on it

Was absolutely beautiful
Liked everything

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I loved all the different outside seating areas and the gas fireplaces. The pool, hot tub and sauna were in excellent condition with pool towels readily available. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and nice blankets. The bathrooms were oversized and included bathrobes. The doors, lighted pathways, castle tower climb and balconies were all a delight.
The restaurant had beautiful outdoor and indoor seating but the food was just ok. No complimentary breakfast as it is only offered in the restaurant. Next time I would just pack breakfast foods and eat in the room or at one of the many outside table and chairs.

Absolutely beautiful scenery, Having a little balcony was nice and at the very least the bathtub jets worked and they were ok. The pool and hot tub were nice wasn’t expecting it to be a sauna also but I enjoyed it. I loved all the stone statues scattered everywhere and there was a waterfall almost right outside our suite.
It was sweltering hot when we got upstairs. We called the concierge up and she reset the breaker. We had to do that a handful of times all three days just to stay cool. The shower jets didn’t work. Being so far from a town it would be nice if they either had stocked mini bars/fridges or at least vending machines with snacks/munchies bc if you don’t come prepared there’s nothing available food wise after the restaurant closes. They have a very limited selection of candy in the gift shop. I paid $500 a night and I could have had better amenities at a cabin in Hocking Hills for less. Also the wifi was barely accessible it was constantly disconnected etc.

We didn't have breakfast, but dinner was amazing. The tub was incredible. It was like a swimming pool.
The pillows. There are a lot of pillows but they weren't quite comfy. I would bring my own pillows in the future.

The food was soooooo good!!!!
No microwave in the room.

The area was very secluded and beautiful. Everything in the room worked loved the heated bathroom floors and balconies. Pool house was nice but needs maintenance. Cooper Mug Restaurant was awesome. Staff nice and helpful. Very unique getaway.
Buildings and pool house need maintenance. Hot tub jets didn't work and mold on the ceiling. Not a luxury hotel so... very expensive for what you get. But still worth a one time stay. Winding gravel roads so make sure you have a vehicle that will make it. No elevator to our suite so lots of stairs to carry bags up. First level suites have windows but people walking by.

The castle is lovely and is enclosed on a very nice spot in a hill. All the facilities look very well maintained and our room was quite nice and had good amenities.
The restaurant on site was a kind of pricey but the food was good.
The noise.
At least in the stables you could hear everything from the room next to us. I was woken up by our neighbors early morning activity.
For the price and being out of the castle, I would have expected better.

Comedian - Bobcat Goldthwait was very funny. Food was good. Especially breakfast. Jacuzzi was nice in room. Enjoyed the game room and taking a walk outside on grounds
Robes were warm, but rough on the skin. Tables and chairs in room were small and not comfortable. As big as the rooms are could have a better quality and bigger table and a bigger / comfortable chairs. Room had 2 queen beds, but only 2 chairs to sit - 2 queens could sleep 4 so 4 would be nice.

We stayed in the stables and didn't Here the people next to us. Everything seemed well built and maintained. We enjoyed being out away in what felt like nature! Hope to return for Christmas.
The restaurant ran out of Woodford Reserve.
