A really unusual place - full of character! An absolutely beautiful garden, gallery and a great getaway for the wedding we were visiting. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and the hosts very helpful.
Nothing!

Very friendly, breakfast exceptional. There was a fascinating selection of sculptures, painting, pictures. The internal decoration was in keeping with the house, very individual and it worked very well. I would recommend it.

Great character, lots of art around the place. Lovely big room, with great en-suite facilities. Freshly cooked breakfast a big plus too.
Nothing.

An outstanding place to stay if you love art and want to stay in a beautiful setting. I can not recommend it highly enough - it was a privilege to stay there. The breakfast was beautiful and I would recommend the property to other walkers doing the Severn Way who would like a little luxury to help them along. The breakfast was stunning - thank you both.
There was nothing not to like - Cathy could not have done more to make is more welcome - it is a rare place to stay and we were so grateful that we stayed there.

Very welcoming owner.
Very clean, very tidy throughout.
Breakfast lovely enjoyed all I had.
Interesting surroundings to walk in & look at.
Nothing I didn’t like.

B&B means for me you don’t stay in an anonymous hotel but in the private settings of your host. In this case, it is an artist to the core within an extraordinary place where you can dive into arts all around

Very quirky, very clean, twin bathroom needs some TLC, wonky taps and shower cubicle door has to be shut from outside. Host very good, very relaxed breakfast.

The arts centre itself is well worth a visit in its own right. The friendliness of Cathy and John was a bonus, and also the great breakfast

Lovely welcome to an unusual b&b. Hard to find at first as the sat nav took me across the road. Comfy room and very clean.Tasty breakfast and gracious hosts. Pretty peacocks in the grounds...
I struggled to watch anything but BBC on the television. But had good internet so not really an issue. Didn't like the stairs to the upstairs room as I have a bad hip but coped ok.

Excellent location. The whole place is lovely, and the owners/hosts are extremely welcoming. The room was simply marvellous, especially for someone who likes Art. Lovely and healthy breakfast.
Nothing to be said here. Everything was perfect.

Great hosts, comfy bed, delicious breakfast. Lovely gardens containing sculptures, gallery/exhibition spaces on-site championing Wales’ artists, and a family of friendly peacocks in the grounds.

A quiet location but very accessible. Hosts were very amiable and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Having to drive out to restaurants in the evening to the nearest town and some were closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Cathy and John, the hosts, were absolutely fabulous in making me feel welcome. It was if I was still at home. Highly recommend you stay. All the food was excellent and there is the bonus of being surrounded by all the art.
The peacocks could be a little quieter from time to time

Cathy and John are superb hosts. They made us feel like family and were extremely accommodating and thoughtful. Breakfast was superb and served with a great smile. Many of the breakfast items are produced by them and taste delicious.
The art setting is also very unique. Apart form the workshops and the exhibition shed which are superb, you feel you live inside an exhibition scene or in an art gallery - truly immersive experience!
I cannot praise this place and its owners enough.
Although for us it was not a problem at all, I can understand that many people would prefer to lock their rooms and that can be tricky in the property, owing to its age. I fact, for us, it added to its charm.

Lovely host, setting, quite comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast.

Lovely! Fresh ingredients - eggs, fruit, bread. Homemade preserves at breakfast.
Great to learn more of the late Stefan Knapp. Cathy is very welcoming, friendly, and hugely energised to venture into setting up the art centre in 2008. John is calm and a friendly gentleman - a perfect partner.
Some improvements could be made with plumbing, but understandably it would involve lots of disruption and expense.

The breakfast was great and the rooms comfy.
I great base for our fishing trip on the Severn.
Cathy and John are great hosts.

The bnb is full of wonderful art - including the room, which was somehow both large and cosy! The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended :)

The hosts were incredibly accommodating and although we were merely looking for a place to stay, I'm sure to return to make use of the residential courses they offer in future.

We stayed here as attending a wedding very close by. Why stay in a boring, chain hotel when you can stay somewhere like this? The house is old, quirky and filled with stunning works of art and the delicious breakfast (with really good bread) is served in a building full of paintings, ceramics and sculptures. Host Cathy and her husband are delightful and make you so welcome in their home. She has had such an interesting life! Do try Cathy's scrumptious home made marmalade. Our room was large, with a huge shower. A very comfortable bed, lots of art works and antique furniture. However, modern windows ensure a peaceful and draught free stay.
Nothing to dislike.

Weren't expecting me. Had to secure the place everything went in or out. Room was cold no heating. Wasted only continental breakfast. But a lady did manage to russal up egg on toast. The hosts were away and didn't organise for on coming guests. Now I'm not sure this was there fault or. Booking. Com
