The accomodation was modern clean and smart. The food was fresh and tasty. Staff were helpful and polite.
The parking situation was not good. We used the Pepper St cp. It was small, tight to negotiate and the bays were tiny. It was also dirty and expensive. £20 per day. The hotel only informed us after we had paid in full they had a concession. Does not say anywhere on hotel site that you get a reduction there.

Location for an Indigo was OK but not great especially if you compare to your Manchester one however it wasn't and issue. I love your hotels quirky and always relevant to location eg Chester racing theme, Manchester press theme. On balance I believe spur hotel chain is amongst the best on offer in the UK

Staff were lovely. Hotel restaurant good with really good food. Really nice ambient atmosphere. Location perfect. All in all very enjoyable stay.
Bed a little hard for my taste but didn’t spoil my nights sleep.

We overall enjoyed our stay. Location was good although its a fair walk to the car park. Shower in the bathroom was lovely and I really liked the breakfast too. The staff were all very polite and helpful.
I was expecting a larger room than what was portrayed on Booking . com. I felt it was a little expensive considering the small room.

Everything felt luxurious from the moment we entered. To my surprise breakfast was included with my booking.com order and it was fancy. Well above average rooms, food and staff
In room switches were confusing. More than 2 switches did absolutely nothing. Did present a puzzle. Bed pillows could do with more filling

Booked this hotel without knowing much about it but it was wonderful. Great location for the city centre, wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. The only issue is how far away the car park is but this is nothing that can be helped from the hotel, it is just the location. Will definitely be back.
Only distance to the car park. Everything else was perfect.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and both occasions the hotel has been excellent.
Staff are really friendly and attentive, hotel is great location and within a 2 minute walk into city centre for all shops/bars.
Hotel facilities are excellent, very clean, has a cosy feel atmosphere bar to unwind in.
Morning breakfast is very good and all cooked fresh to order with a great continental selection.
Doesn’t have its own carpark lets it down, but does have one within 5minute walk.

Location was excellent, within walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops.
Staff were amazing, very friendly and would go out of their way to help in anyway they could.
Did not like the cooked breakfast, not a problem though the continental breakfast was fine.
Coffee and green tea not to my liking but unlike other hotels there was freshly squeezed orange juice.

Beautiful hotel, great location. The staff were lovely so was the breakfast. But the forge restaurant separately…don’t bother.
The hotel it’s self was lovely. But the forge…the food was ok, the staff weren’t attentive at all. It was a struggle for a desert and we weren’t even asked if we wanted coffee and we paid a £20 tip for being ignored. Definitely not Mitcheln anything

We had a 2 night stay. We would book again. The Manager and staff were exceptional, professional, friendly and provided first class service. The restaurant, The Forge is excellent Michelin guide level but without doubt was at Michelin star quality. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. A good choice of beverages and wine. The cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel was of a high standard. I liked the quirky decor design throughout the hotel. We were a group of mum’s & daughters celebrating 80th and 85th birthdays - the entire staff made us very welcome and made our stay special. Added plus was complimentary soft drinks were provided in the bedroom fridge. The hotel is mobility accessible throughout with the exception that the beds in both standard and the accessible room were very high and difficult to get into. A NCP car park is available 5 minimum walk from the hotel.
Nothing really. Other than the drinks on the all inclusive breakfast were limited. And there was an extra charge if you preferred a ground coffee or specialty tea. There is a disability carpark space outside the hotel but we were not told about this.

Staff were very helpful and attentive.
The room was badly designed and did not have adequate storage for a three day stay.
It was not possible to use the safe because of its location and the light shone on the reflective surface which had the instructions so we could not read them.
Booking. Com's website did not indicate that lunch was only available on Wednesday to Saturday.

Great decor, staff are lovely and we had a nice big room. The breakfast is amazing service was excellent. Appreciated the free drinks vouchers as part of the birthday package.
I didn’t have the best nights sleep because I could hear creaking noises and doors closing in the night. It might’ve been where the room was located but it didn’t feel very sound proof. Also the mattress was very firm and the pillows weren’t the best so I did struggle. Also if the only different between the King and the Deluxe King is the snack, Nespresso machine and bathrobe I would just go for the King because I didn’t really feel like that was worth it. Room also didn’t have a bath.

Good choice of cooked food at breakfast.
No hot food on Sunday as chef called in sick.

The hotel was absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated to a very high standard. Absolutely spotless, staff were so friendly and very approachable. Food was very delicious and to a very high standard. I can't find any fault and will be definitely back.
There was nothing not to like .

The room has a good amount of space, and was light. The colour was pleasing and all soft furnishings were good quality. The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was a good size, with a rain-shower. The night light was great.
The room was very clean.
The location was good and quiet enough. We didn't hear people on other rooms so slept well.
When use to feather pillows, the pillows were uncomfortable, unforgiving. There was hanging space, but the shelf too high up to use. The room lacked drawers to put clothes in.
There was no way to air the towels during the day. There was was no clear way to demonstrate that you wanted the towels changed.
Providing drinking water on cans felt mean, and we no always replenished.

Our stay was enjoyable from start to finish. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed in the Eastgate Clock style room - the room was very clean and spacious. It came with complimentary drinks and snacks. The hotel has free WiFi. The hotel is in walking distance from Grosvenor Park and only a few minutes walk from the main high street in Chester for shopping. It’s also only a 10 minute walk from the railway station and from the bus exchange if you wanted to make trips outside of Chester ie Chester Zoo.
It was a fantastic stay - we would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in Chester. We will be returning.
Cannot fault this hotel.

Breakfast was lacking and we were charged for a flat white which tells you profit is the priority at this hotel

Excellent location friendly staff, very helpful , good bar area , excellent breakfast all round very clean and comfortable.
Only downside was the pillows . I travel around a lot and you can’t beat premier inn pillows that isn’t just my opinion but the opinion of a lot of hardens experienced travellers who used many different hotels . …just a tip 😉
