Hele mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht. Eigenaar heel aardig en wil met alles helpen, heeft zelfs om 5u sochtends nog even een pannekoekje voor ons klaargemaakt. Eten was heel lekker.
Bedden smal en vrij hard. Vlekken in de lakens. Vliegen in de badkamer.

everything. the rooms, ambience, mountain and valley view, all family connect, warmth, good food and hospitality. Library and community school connect was outstanding.
actually nothing.

Great hospitality, the food we were served was amazing. Very cozy and great views. The room was comfortable, good size, and great value for the money. The host was INCREDIBLY helpful - I was able to hire his sons to guide me and trek to Dhulikel for a very fair price. According to his sons, the host himself used to lead treks on Everest, and is the chair of a nonprofit school in the town nearby!
My room had a few flies and unfortunately the power went out when I was there so we didn’t have access to Wi-Fi, but this is somewhat to be expected in a remote mountain area. Luckily we still had light in our rooms since they were connected to solar power.

The room is simple but lovely to have a balcony and hot water. Prem is an absolute gem - really kind and helpful. The food was delicious and very reasonable prices.
Make sure you have a contact number/Google Maps so you can get here - it is outside of Dulikhil along some bumpy and steep roads.

The owner was always welcoming and helpful. He gave me many ideas for day tracks. The area around the guesthouse is very peaceful. It was a wonderful place to recover from busy Kathmandu city.

Highly recommend! I booked for 5 nights but extended two more nights for a total of 7 nights. Prem and his family who run the place are lovely hosts; very attentive but not intrusive. The included breakfast was very nice, fried eggs with Tibetan bread + porridge and coffee. I also purchased dinner for most of the nights… generally Dahlbat. All the meals were served piping hot and fresh. My corner room had a wrap-around balcony looking down into the valley. Plenty of bottled water was available. If I return to Dhulikhel I will most certainly stay here again. There are numerous trails and roads surrounding the inn for walking and trekking. The place is about a 25 minute walk from town so you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Trucks on the highway below and dogs can be a little noisy at nighttime, but that’s just Nepal. The biggest disappointment (and certainly no fault of the inn) was that the air was smoky and foggy the whole 7 days. Never once did I get to see the snow-capped Himalayas that were very clearly visible when I last came to Dhulikhel back in 1984.

I stayed just one night at Tashidelek Guest Lodge and House but I wished I could have stayed more!
The couple is incredibly warm, welcoming and nice. They are lovely.
The night, I came freezing after a long day walking with my 16kg backpack and the owner made me a cup of tea to warm me up, they gave me an extra blanket and watching this beautiful view from the rooftop at sunset, I found myself to be really lucky to be here ⭐
The rooms are big and cosy, the beds are perfect, the place is quiet and tidy and the view from the balcony is marvelous!
Dal bhat in the evening was delicious, as well as breakfast.
Thank you flr everything, I wish to come back in the future 🙏

Prem is an excellent host and Tashidelek has beautiful views of the valley and Himalaya. The rooftop terrace is a great place to start the day with breakfast, journal writing and looking at the gorgeous birds. The food is delicious (we had breakfast - included - and dinner - extra cost) each day of our stay. All was great!
The room was cold. Prem provided us with an extra blanket on request, which was great for sleeping. However, I recommend requesting a south facing room to get a little more heat from the sun during the day, which will keep it warmer at night. Also, shower was warm but not hot.

Our room had balcony with the views and there was a rooftop too where could have meals, food was tasty and good size and also very reasonably priced
Good location for walking to Namo Buddha and observing rural areas
Hot shower towel provided comfy bed
No complaints just things to note it could get quite cold so bring warm clothing for the evenings but there was plenty of blankets and duvet for night time :D
