Bandipur ist wunderschön und der Aufenthalt im Bandipur chhen einfach top. Vielen Dank!

Die große Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals war einfach großartig. Das leckere Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Toll ist auch, daß ein Teil der Einnahmen sozialen Einrichtungen zu gute kommt.

Lovely place to enjoy beautiful Bandipur

Nice location on the main pedestrianised street in a heritage building. Beautifully and authentically restored, many tourists take photos of the building. The family owners are so friendly and welcoming, and helped us with onward travel. Breakfast was home cooked and catered to us being vegetarian. Very nice balcony overlooking the interesting street.

As an historic building there is little soundproofing so earplugs are recommended.

Wish I could have stayed longer

It was beautiful. My room was like a jewel! Well appointed. It was very charming. Perfect location. The host was personable, helpful, attentive staff. Great breakfast. Peaceful I hated to leave.

Character hotel supporting local schools, great location and staff.

The property was historic and full of character (in a good way). The staff went above and beyond what is expected. The location was great and overlooked the pedestrian-only main street (bazaar). The affiliation with Rotary and financial support of 5 local schools made our stay even more appealing.

Great stay - would definetely recommend!

Very helpful and kind staff, the room was very beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. Loved the location and balcony overlooking the main village street. Additionally this hotel is actually a social project with all income going in supporting local schools.

Probably slightly overpriced vs other options with the same amenities/location but for me it was totally worth it due to the social aspect of the business. With added plus that you are getting a very beautiful room/balcony view.

Cosy and comfortable for a one night stop

Sumit helped us a lot with our luggage upon arrival as the car couldn't drive into the main street - we were very grateful for this. The room is super cute and comfortable, basic but lovely enough for our one night stopover stay. Breakfast was really good, and the location is great as its a small town street and everything is around each other. The bed is comfortable, no TV but that is fine as we were just there for one night.

The toilet doesn't have a bidet, and we struggled a little with this as we are used to having one! But we understand that's more a personal preference - nothing actually wrong with the room.

Very good choice for accommodation when visiting this lovely place, Bandipur. Right on the main road, close to everything. Traditional, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable rooms. Helpful manager, will give you all the information you need for your walks or trekkings.

A bijou hotel with a conscience in Bandipur

The location is excellent, the property is charming and the staff is very nice and helpful. the room was cosy and extremely clean, the bed was comfortable. The coffee was excellent. most importantly, profits are supporting 5 local schools.

It is difficult to improve because of local constraints but I would suggest a closed bin for the toilet paper and, if possible, better sockets (but I realise this is something of a national curse).

It's my second time in Bandipur cchen and I' m very happy to have stayed there again - best location, beautiful rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is delicios.

beautifully renovated traditional house. the rooms à very confortable and clean. thé staff is extremely helpful and nice. i would go back there with great pleasure. the plus also is that this place is a social enterprise so your money is well spend !

Lovely visit to Bandipur.

The location was great. The manager was kind and helpful giving us directions for a hike to Ramcot. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Unfortunately the shower curtain was very moldy. We had traveled at the end of monsoon season which most likely contributed to this.

Very comfortable, clean and nicely kept property, highly recommend

Really good property and the owner is very nice, polite and extremely helpful. The property is in the middle of main bazaar and is very extremely well kept. The owner is very polite and well mannered, very helpful and the facilities in the place are very nice and convenient. The room is small but is kept nicely and clean. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Great location in the heart of old Bandipur. Old, restored house with lots of character. Gourmet coffee maker to go with the filling breakfast. Outstanding, always helpful staff that make you feel welcome. Highly recommended. Plus, the town of Bandipur is one of the most attractive towns I’ve seen in 25 years of travelling in Asia.

Great place to stay in Bandipur

The locations is unbeatable!! A very charming old building with a lot of history. The family running it are very nice and friendly. Breakfast was super good and the bed is very comfortable!! Totally recommend this place.

Central location of a beautiful street, the staff were very helpful and friendly, great breakfast, comfortable room, laundry was done efficiently

Exceptional

Such a beautiful authentic hotel in the heart of Bandipur. I loved my stay here. The room was perfect, with a real traditional Newari feeling to it. The room had a little balcony which was perfect to look over the main street of Bandipur. Comfortable and clean and all the essential necessities for a good stay. The breakfast was a good portion and great start to the day.

We loved everything here.

Impressive place. Wholesome experience.

Excellent location in centre of a beautiful, clean and friendly town. A pillar of the community, this hotel was recently established as a way of supporting local schools. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Basic friendly guesthouse, supporting local schools

Nice location with terrace overlooking a quiet pedestrian street in a beautiful village with traditional life. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good information and map for local walks/hiking in nice countryside with local lifestyle. Good shower. Balcony with nice view over the street. Very good breakfast, all you want, a la carte. This guesthouse has been established with the purpose of supporting 5 local primary schools, sponsored by Rotary Club, Aberdeen ( Scotland). Extra information available. This gives me a better feeling for the lack of certain comforts and having paid a relatively higher price.

Old wooden floor can cause noise of neighbours upstairs. We also heard someone snorking next doors. Simple room with just one chair. Poorly finished, not done by skilled workers, but probably with the best intentions. No TV. Wifi not strong enough for certain applications. Compared by other hotels where we stayed in Nepal it is rather overpriced.
