Pleasant apart from £159 room then £30 fo two days parking

Proximity to airport and hotel parking

I had googled Edinburgh Airport hotel with parking which I thought I had paid for but on checking in I had to pay £15 per day on top of booking fee. Not happy with booking.com!

Arrived at 12.40 am wrong information about breakfast time, didn’t know there would be no bedding for sofa bed, door knocked at 9.40am by cleaner even though we had 11am check out, very expensive for minimum facilities only enough tea bags for one cup each and room did not look like photograph.

Proche de l'aéroport, accessible à pied. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Petit déjeuner varié mais qualité modeste.

Great and recommended for staying close to the airport.

Very well located near the airport. Free shuttle bus. Great British breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and room.

Window was a bit old and had a small draft. But that is a small detail and not a problem in the summertime. Area a bit boring but also expected when situated near the airport.

Convenient for airport/shutt but you'd better eat dinner before you're trapped there. Nothing around

Excellent evening staff manager! Came and explained there was no switch on bedside light (had to unscrew bulb) Lent me a scales to weigh my bag.

Abysmal food in the restaurant for dinner. Almost no choices. Burger arrived in 2 minutes on a still refrigerated patty and barely warm burger...obviously no cook just the waiter assembling leftovers. Poorly designed bedside lights.

Just what I needed before early flight and would definitely return next time I fly from Edinburgh.

Close to airport with easy access via shuttle bus. Very friendly, helpful staff (Caitlin and Emmanuel ?). Enjoyable meal.

Tv could have been checked before room occupied.

Good stay, let down by poor service in bar/restaurant.

Good value for money, close to the airport. Check in/out staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good.

The bar/restaurant was poor. Although not that busy, there was a continual queue to be served - felt like a new computer system had been installed and staff were learning but no apologies were made for the wait. No facility to run a tab and pay at the end of your meal or charge to room - which was surprising.

After a 3 hour flight at around 12.30 am, all you want is a no fuss check in, and that’s what I got

I enjoyed the breakfast greatly, it was nice and hot and looked very fresh. The eating area was clean and tidy.

Nothing in particular, plenty space if you needed peace and quiet.

Perfect breakfast, even at 5.00 in the morning. But why no cheese? Shuttle to airport even too early

Staff at reception desk, around 20.00, was not kind. I don't remember any staff is smiling in this hotel.

Arriving late to EDI airport, this hotel will welcome you with all you need for one night stay.

Great location -10 min walk from airport. Reception opened 24/7. Left luggage room. Shuttle bus to terminal and car rental.

Breakfast selection is poor. Just very basic.

La habitación era muy buena, el cuarto de baño perfecto y muy limpio. Desayuno correcto. Todas las chicas de recepción son geniales, atentas y dispuestas para ayudarte en todo. El día de salida nos tocó una Española nos dio consejos y recomendó sitios, se agradece bastante. Buen hotel, repetiría si volviera.

El sofá cama podía ser un poco más cómodo. Precio un poco elevado, para estar bastante lejos del centro de Edimburgo, El parking la primera noche nos cobraron 15 libras cuando ponía 10 me pareció bastante caro.

Location, cleanliness and staff all great but evening meal could be improved.

Breakfast was fine but unfortunately the evening meal was poor!

Pleasents and comfotable

Staff were professional and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean

Multiple stains on the carpet, the spare bed was made up when we arrived, which we hadnt asked for, and we struggled to put it back, so we kept it up the whole stay. But wasnt much an issue. Breakfast was nice and simple

Very impressed

Our room was a fantastic size ( my husband and I have 4 kids) so we were really pleased with all the beds. Very comfy. The toilet was pristine. We were die to be out before 4am but we were allowed.to take muffins, fruit and croissants with us as normally breakfast doesn't start before 4am.

Perhaps good to have takeaway cups for tea and coffee for those that are having to leave to get the early early flights.

Comfortable clean stay, ideal location for the airport. Problematic parking arrangements

The room itself was ample for 2 people, the shower was excellent, the water pressure was perfect and hot water came through very quickly. The beds were very comfy. The breakfast was very good but see below

I was unaware that free car parking at the hotel was not included in the price shown when I booked via booking .com. I only found out that there was a £10 charge when I looked at the confirmation of my booking from the hotel itself. Replies from the hotel to other people indicate that reservation "is not needed" No mention is made however whether reservation is "possible". When we arrived there was only a very small number of spaces available. Had all the places been taken up we would have had to leave our car somewhere else, likely on the road amongst other vehicles which I would not have been happy doing. It would be better if the booking confirmation from the hotel asks whether car parking is required for the number of nights stay at the hotel, and a space then reserved. The way the current parking system operates is therefore not particularly satisfactory. With regard to the breakfast, the hotel info indicates it is served from 4am. Due to a fairly early flight we went down for breakfast at 6am, however there was no cooked food available at that time and it seemed it was still being prepared. We therefore had to make do with cereals etc.
