Estancia en familia en habitación forte, con cama doble y dos individuales

Al ser un palacio tiene una decoración muy especial y muchos salones que puedes utilizar. Al lado de la piscina está el salón que puedes servirte agua, café, refrescos y copas.

Que en la zona de la piscina tengas sol hasta las 17h de la tarde. Resto todo bien.

Escapadela num espaço muito bem recuperado, ideal para relaxar e "desligar"

O atendimento pela D. Cândida foi excepcional, e de uma enorme simpatia, deixando-nos completamente "em casa". O pequeno almoço estava impecável, com a atenção especial de ter sido servido numa sala mais privada, uma vez que na sala principal estava uma grupo grande. Todos os espaços estão muito bem recuperados e decorados com muito gosto e atenção. Parabéns!

Apesar do valor cobrado ser justo, penso que devia haver informação afixada no local quanto ao preço dos produtos do bar em regime de self-service. De resto só temos pena de - por falta de tempo - não termos tido oportunidade de usufruir mais dos espaços comuns e da piscina.

Como unos reyes

Funciona como un hotel y una casa a la vez. Existen muchos espacios comunes a tu disposicion. Me encantó la posibilidad de escuchar musica, tomar un refresco un café o una copa que tu mismo te puedes servir, como si estuvieses en el salon de tu casa. La decoracion es sublime, mezclando distintos estilo. Como siempre la atencion exquisita

Tolle Unterlunft, sehr bequem, Lage okai

Die Unterkunft war wie ein Museum. Super schöne Gegenstände. Bequemes Bett. Eine grossartige Auswahl an Getränke, welche man selber mischen konnte.

Die WC-Spülung hat nicht richtig funktioniert so dass diese durch die Nacht komische Geräusche von sich gab. Der Feuermelder war leider gerade in der Nähe vom Bett und hat immer geleuchtet. Lage nicht optimal aber mit Auto war mal mobil.

Nice, cosy, beautiful renovated old mansion and amazing staff

we stayed 5 nights in the apt and we based at this place to disciver Elvas some lovely villages in the Alto Alentejo. thus is a gorgeous place, very nicely renovated, lovely spacious apt, well-runned accommodation, amazing people/staff, fresh home made breakfast. small (8 rooms and 1 apt with 2 rooms) peaceful hotel, a lovely garden with a pool, honesty bar… so many positives reasons to stay here.

it’s a fantastic place, very few small things that can be improved. e.g. something to keep the flies away and avoiding getting them in the apt. some of the doirs at the apt gets a bit stuck and they make noises, so you will wake up others if you go to the toiyin the middle of the night. The small kitchen at the apt is a big bonus- perhaps adding a chopping board (or at least we couldn’t find it)… just to make it a bit easier when slicing some fruits or bread. note: we didn’t cook at the apt, only had some snall meals snd drinks. some reviews talk about the location, but not once did it feel unsafe- people are maybe less privileged in this area, but they are nice people. it’s a lively neighborhood, so you will hear music and people talking, but it gets quiet around 21hr. it’s in a residential area, which to me adds to the charm.

As usual, a magical place. Excellent new manager. Had the internet issue and a smaller breakfast.

Good breakfast though this time no eggs were offered to be made like the previous times we had been there

Outside you do not see it is hotel. There are no signs to the hotel and a friendly Portuguese has to show us the place by driving with his car in front of us.. However once in the hotel it is a great experience

The room was nearby the entrance of the hotel. Zero soundproofing because they kept an old door and didn't make any new one despite the space to do it. It was a pity

We would just say thank you to Catarina and the staff for a wonderful time in Elvas.

When we travel, we prefer more of a home atmosphere. If a property offers the chance to stay in an historic place, complete with period settings, even better. Travassos 11 offers all of this, and more. We took the two bedroom apartment, and it is a “wow”. The old house, with tiled stairs, antiques, and large family style dining room, is a marvel. The staff are as well prepared and supportive as the property. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It was nice to have various drinks and beverages in the living common area.

The location of the property isn't great, the area and surrounding building needs a lot of improvement. More cleaning always help and they should try to fit some shower footboard into those showers, it's a matter of hygiene.

Great place to stay

The house is great, clean, big enough and with a swimming pool that is super convenient specially in summer. The breakfast is amazing and you have the option to have dinner as well (I recommend it). Special thanks to the hosts for making our stay special.
