Perfect stay, amazing location, accommodating host. Would definitely stay again here if this way

Location was perfect, near the sea front and food shops. Great apartment, lovely size, spotlessly clean and secure private parking. As we took my elderly Mum, it was perfect inside as all the doorways were wide enough to fit a wheel chair through. The master bedroom had a hand rail in the shower which helped for my Mum. The host was very accommodating, and answered any questions before hand and on arrival that I had. Complimentary coffee, tea and biscuit basket left for arrival, as well as a bottle of fizz, hand soap and washing up liquid in the kitchen. This was a lovely gesture.

The kitchen was lovely and big, surprised that it did not have a washing machine. Could do with clear information on the welcome pack on how to use all the kitchen appliances. Found the bed a little hard for my liking. However I do realise that this is very subjective as some people prefer a firmer mattress. There are a few wide steps up to the apartment, and a high step into the apartment which you need to consider if you have someone who is not very mobile with you. My Mum did find it difficult to walk up them and there is quite a few. As the flat is so large we found it quite chilly in the evening. There were no throws to be able to snuggle up in. We couldn't work out why the heating was not working on the thermostat, so ended up pulling the quilts off the beds to keep warm. We did contact the host who explained the heating was turned off to be more eco friendly this time of year, however as the heating is controlled by the host remotely she turned it on for the rest of our stay which was perfect. It may be a good idea to have this written in the welcome information, especially if guests have elderly or young with them staying.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. We felt at home.

There was an electrical problem in the apartment during our second week but it was speedily repaired with great concern. Extra heating was supplied and we were very comfortable. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment, perfect location. One of the best stays we have had in the U.K.

This is one of the nicest apartments we have stayed at. Plenty of room and the location is excellent. Everything was done to make our stay enjoyable. Would rent it again!

The only confusing thing was the on/off buttons/switches in the kitchen. Would be nice to label them so you would know to what light/appliance it turns on. But this did not affect our stay. Just a friendly suggestion.

The location for Eastbourne Airboure was perfect, the apartment is very spacious and the allocated parking space was a HUGE bonus. Excellent communication from the host 😀

Personally felt that the accommodation needs a little TLC to be classified as "Luxury", I have absolutely no doubt that it was once luxurious but with broken ceramic tiles in the hallway and kitchen I'm surprised that these have not been replaced as aesthetically this would make a massive difference. TV in the bath not working, faulty lights in the living room & missing lever on the shower controls.....

A amazing place to stay if you want to wake up and step out for a walk along the beach

A beautiful apartment in a fantastic location - literally a minute walk to the beach and markets! We were greeted with some goodies in the form of biscuits, tea/coffee making facilities and a bottle of Prosecco which was wonderful! The apartment has everything you would need and the beds are really comfortable. There was also a helpful list of places to eat and things to do or see in the area which was great so thank you!

Only minor complaint is that if you took a bath in the lovely bath tub there isn’t much hot water left for anyone to shower after etc, and the tv on the tub wasn’t working either, so didn’t get to utilise this to relax.

A FANTASTIC LOCATION

I would have marked much higher on all of the other boxes but when we arrived it was freezing cold and there was a problem with the boiler starting up so it took about 2 to 3 hours to sort out but the owner did pay for our evening meal round at Qualisea and a bottle of wine which made up for it and from then onwards we were very warm in the apartment it was very well placed to get to everything so we didn’t need to take the car out and the accommodation apart from the first night when it was cold was first class excellent.

The first night when the heating system didn’t work and it was absolutely freezing cold! Otherwise I would say this place was excellent and we would certainly go back again simply because its location couldn’t be better for the theatre the beach the promenade the restaurants what more could you ask for?

It has been styled fabulously.. classy! literally could live here.. can’t fault anything! will definitely come back.. This trip was for my birthday and Storm Eunice arrived.. we braved the journey and we are so glad we did xx

A stylish and upmarket base to expience everything that Eastbourne has to offer. Forget the hotels, this has it all.

All the grandeur of the classic Eastbourne architecture combined with a stylish remodeling. Very close to the promenade, bandstand and pier as well as local shops. we’d definitely come again. On-site parking was great. Service, hospitality and support were excellent with a lovely touch of mince pies, tree and wine to greet us for Xmas.

The bed in the second bedroom has a very soft mattress. It may be some people’s preference but we would have preferred firmer. Also, we couldn’t get the TV to access the WiFi network for Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.

Nice but not quite luxury

Useful kitchen with good supply of utensils/crockery/cutlery etc. Full sized fridge and freezer appreciated; liked induction hob, cooker and plate warmer. Did not use microwave or coffee machine (because sadly, there was no manual). Very grateful for surprise welcome bottle of Prosecco. Comfortable lounging and dining area with stylish finish. Glad to have good quality WiFi. Great location for exploring Eastbourne and surprisingly quiet given its central location. While there is only one car park available with the apartment; there is plenty on the street (payable) parking available in the vicinity.

Mattresses in master bedroom due for replacement and would also consider a higher quality bed linen all round as this is presented as a luxury apartment. You might want to look at the shower heads in the guest room shower-room. The top one is producing just a dribble and the hand-held one has two missing inserts so the water squirts everywhere - fortunately the shower door is really water-tight so it doesn't get out onto the floor of the shower-room.

A beautiful apartment in a great location.

the apartment is in an excellent location, so it was very easy getting to the town centre and the beach front. the flat itself was very spacious and had been finished to a very nice standard. we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this apartment for future visits.
