Honestly, I felt like I was living in a beautiful spa jungle inside a city for a couple days and I couldn’t be happier. The service was absolutely excellent, the breakfast was wonderful, and I felt so incredibly safe. The room was gorgeous, SUPER CLEAN, and decorated simply lovely. I couldn’t be happier and I’m quite a picky traveler when it comes to my accommodations. I cannot wait to return. The staff are so kind and accommodating! Oh and the soaps, shampoo and conditioner were so lovely!
Loved it all.

Extremely comfortable beds! Breakfast was amazing. A really nice location on the outskirts of Antigua meaning it is slightly quieter. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great staff. Super helpful. Great ambiance
We had a 4p room with a loft like bed room for the kids upstairs. Really nice and cute but super steep stairs and no protection in stein on the stairs. For a safer perspective this is a ?

nothing to dislike about the property! it is about a 10 min walk to the center of town which is convenient nevertheless.

Vivian, Oscar and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They are just excellent. The property is on a quieter area of town so sleeping at night is not an issue. The breakfast served at the rooftop with views of the fire volcano was a bonus.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel! The employees could not be nicer. The upstairs has a gorgeous view of all 3 volcanos and the decor is very cute. Our room was so large and beautiful. We made friends on our Acatenango hike that had also stayed at Cacao and loved it. I would absolutely recommend to anyone!
Isn't as close to the main part of Antigua as the other hotels I stayed at were, but that was part of the appeal because it was a lot quieter and peaceful.

THe ambient and the front desk. The light that was coming in my room and the atmosphere. The staff was so kind.

The walls are pretty thin so you can hear all the people outside and neighbor upstairs.

So beautiful hotel, hygge, clean, spacious room and bath. Peaceful to rest. Very good breakfast. Close to main landmarks.
Chilly during the night and without blankets into the room.

Cacao Boutique Hotel is such a gem, an absolutely fantastic place with the nicest people, the most beautifully appointed rooms, and it feels so safe, quiet, and relaxing. And it is just a quick walk to anywhere in Antigua. I would happily stay here again and again. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and I loved the cacao theme everywhere. It is also so reasonably priced compared to others of this caliber. I can highly recommend.
