the price and location was exactly what we were looking for

the facilities could have been better within the cabin. There was nowhere to cook a decent meal, apart from a microwave and also only 1 mug to drink tea or coffee from, so we had to take it in turns. The pictures when we booked the cabin online were not like the cabin we booked at all, ours was much smaller and had less facilities

Location

The bottom of the shower leaked water, people all around the house moving around and you can hear every step, the electricity would hardly charge our phones, dead flies around the room, dogs woke us up early hours

Wouldn’t stay again unfortunately

Nice cabin, helpful guest who was able to drive us to the racecourse

They had double booked and tried to get us to leave the property once we were already at the races with nowhere else to stay. Also had dogs who were very big, barking and running at guests and not caged in

Nothing, it was disgusting

All of it, bed was awful, triple booked us, dirty, decking was healthy and safety hazard. Promised us £60 cash back because they triple booked but never got it. Blinds were broke, dusty, bed wasn't a double, lights outside flashing all night

Exceptional

Nice family run business. Was welcomed by owner. He showed us the way and how things worked. The place was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Had a TV fridge sofa double bed. If your looking for a quiet place to chill then this is the place. Only fault was finding the place lol. Little to far from amenities for me as we was on foot. Thank you for a lovely stay myself and my daughter had a lovely time ty

Disappointing stay :/

Attentive owner. Comfy bed and duvet. Good location, just a few minute drive from thorpe park.

Cabin was unclean, dirt and what looked like a blood stain on sofa. Power went out after we arrived because we put the radiator on so had no lights/electric, owner turned it back on but wasn't given info about this. Dirty plates/cutlery/etc as well as old, dirty sponge. No door on toilet when it leads straight into kitchen. Batteries taken out of smoke detector, dangerous! Front gate broken. We have dogs ourselves but no info on website about aggressive dog that chased us when we stepped outside of our cabin and barked at us, very intimidating even for someone who loves dogs. Once we arrived, owner did tell us he had dogs and one of them was a bit 'aggro' but completely undersold it; not safe at all for guests to be around a large, violent dog who hates strangers.

Good location, hosts very welcoming on arrival. Good for low budget accommodation.

Cabin needed maintenance and cleaning, no toilet roll, shower broken and generally tired looking. 2 big dogs that are very vocal and boisterous which was not a problem for me but could be intimidating for others.

An awful location, almost a building site, with accommodation as converted Refrigeration Units

We arrived at the location, which initially seemed wrong as it gave the impression of a building site, as we had to go through muddy areas, wet areas that where also muddy we started to think the worse of this experience. I have been a long term user of booking . com, but this experience has left me not wanting to use the service again.

Lovely stay. Would deffo recommend

It was perfect for me to stay at this property. I stayed for two weeks and the hosts were more than accommodating and gave me the option to stay longer if I needed to. Cute little room with all of the essentials.

The room was a tiny bit on the cold side. There was two heaters provided but neither of them worked the best. Lucky the bed was super comfy and the duvet was thick and kept me warm

Awful

The cabin was accessed via a muddy track in what was not much more than wasteland with old lorries and a dump of building materials nearby. The cabin hadn't been cleaned properly after the previous resident and the bedding appeared grubby and unchanged. I had to sleep on top of the bed fully clothed. The advertised WIFI was non-existent. The decking area outside was littered with rubbish, tools and building materials. After a cold night there was no running water the following morning due to uninsulated frozen pipes and neither the toilet nor the shower worked. Totally unnaceptable.

it was damp, cold, dirty, a difficult location and very far from what was advertised. the WiFi wasn’t available, no tea or coffee, it is the worst place I’ve ever stayed!

The lady and her son were very helpful! lovely people!! The microwave was clean.

Separating the toilet and the hall way was a shower curtain. The cleaning facilities were dirty from previous customers had food in it. The kettle was dirty and had no filter so couldn’t use. the sofa was run down not a problem still comfy but could do with an update. We weren’t given a key, luckily we could lock from the inside .

Very quiet & peaceful, loved how friendly & playful the dogs were. The host was lovely to talk to on check-in, but not helpful during stay

Sheet on bed looked already slept in so couldn't bring myself to sleep in it. Lack of help from host during stay. Dusty ornaments. Old scratchy beach towels instead of guest towels. No tea, coffee or sugar.

Peaceful. Had everything that you’d need. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Restful environment, cosy. Really didn’t want to leave.

Should not have been put up as available...bathroom was routed and leaked all night all over the floor.tjere was a spanner to control the heat.I could not use the shower and bed linen was dirty...Worst stay ever I want my money back.

self contained cabin in a quiet area which was ideal for getting to and from Longcross Studios (7mins away) ideal location for Thorpe Park and other studios too if looking for a no hassle place of rest.
