Por favor, lee los comentarios negativos, es por tu salud. Este apartamento es insalvable, TIENE CHINCHES. Me iba a alojar del 16 al 19 de mayo y cuando me encontré a las chinches, tuve que cambiar de apartamento, después del shock, me puse a leer comentarios en Booking y tienen chinches desde al menos el mes de MARZO. Adjunto fotos de las chinches. En nuestra cama encontramos al menos 5 chinches, a dos de ellas le saqué foto una vez las maté. Cuando le pedimos una solución al responsable, nos cambió de habitación y encima nos dijo que nos tendríamos que ir a la mañana siguiente diciendo que iba que solucionar el problema. ¿Como iba a eliminar chinches en 10 horas? Para eliminarlas hay que FUMIGAR.
Desde el principio no nos gustaba demasiada, pero tenía un buen precio y por eso seguimos adelante. He de decir que apenas respondían a los mensajes de Booking, te obligaba a llamarles (nada cómodo si te van a cobrar la llamada por ser de otro país). No nos dijeron el código de nuestra habitación y de la puerta principal hasta que llegamos a las 22:30. Cuando llegamos, nos hizo llamarle y ahí nos envió el código. No ponen toallas y la habitación lo están del todo limpia, manchas blancas en cortinas negras, sábanas manchadas de lejía, la puerta principal de la entrada se abría sin necesidad de código alguno. El baño de la planta baja tenía muy mala pinta, en principio estaba limpio pero la luz se encendía con una cuerda ya que no había plato de ducha y la ducha era el suelo. Por lo que si salpicaba el agua al interruptor se podía liar, por lo que era concuerda la luz. El lavamanos súper pequeño. Es cierto que la cama y la almohada era cómoda (las dos únicas horas que estuvimos echados) luego empezamos a encontrarnos un bicho, luego otro, y ya con el tercero nos alarmamos y nos dimos cuenta que eran chinches. Leí otros comentarios que hubo gente que tuvo que ir que urgencias debido a las picaduras de éstas.

My room was lovely. Spacious and comfortable bed.
Neither shower seemed to be working in the shared bathrooms but as I was only staying there for one night and returning home it wasn't a deal breaker.
Communication with the owner could have been better.

Only a 15-20 minute walk into town or a 5 minute taxi so the location is good, the beds were comfy
2 front doors into the property and the 1st door does not lock - broken.
1st door into garden area broke, handle and lock also not working.
Patio doors at the rear into the garden, does not lock at all and is constantly unlocked. Very concerning.
Hot water wasn’t working for quite a while and it was really hard trying to get hold of the host, freezing and no hot water. Upstairs shower didn’t work when I could eventually have one, so only one shower downstairs (which floods into the kitchen) for a house with 6 rooms.
Microwave didn’t work, kettle didn’t work, only the hobs on the oven worked, no wifi, tv in the living room didn’t work - had no signal. No tv in the bed rooms. (Not that it’s a must but its usually standard)
Woken up multiple times 2 nights in a row, due to people coming in and out, being loud, arguing, kicking doors and actually damaging the property.
Host was friendly enough once he answered the phone, but didn’t seem to care about all the issues I raised. Comfy bed, good location with lots of things to do around but would not stay in this bnb again.

Bed bugs. The property is in a state of disrepair ,which while clean, makes the stay uncomfortable. The price is low but that shouldn’t mean hosts should forgo basics such as hand soap or hand towels in bathrooms. Only after this did we discover dirty and stained bedding and bugs in the mattress. Would not recommend.

Close to the city, good for the money
The 2nd floor toilet was blocked so all had to use the bottom floor going down 4 sets of stairs in the night other then that it was okay

Good location and easy self-service check on/out.
Facilities dirty/broken (toilet flush was broken in one of the bathrooms) - room stank of cigarette smoke and the bed was dirty with a number of suspicious stains. No replacement toilet paper in bathroom and no bin for sanitary products.

Nada, absolutamente nada.
Para empezar, la puerta de la entrada y la trasera no tenían llave, estaban todo el rato abiertas podía entrar cualquiera. En segundo lugar, los baños, había dos, uno que apestaba y encima la ducha no funcionaba y el otro que era una especie de cuarto minúsculo con el lavabo el retrete y la ducha unidos. Las habitaciones, a excepción de dos (cogimos cinco) estaban frías, mobiliario en un estado deficiente, humedades en las paredes, las puertas cerraban mal y no ofrecía seguridad. En resumen, nos quedamos porque eramos un grupo grande (10 personas) pero si no hubieramos escapado de allí. 0 seguridad. No se lo recomiendo a nadie.

It was clean and the area was quiet
Upon arrival the guy in charge of the check-in told us that it was imposible to pay by card, so we had to go and get cash, after getting the cash ( in Euro of course, the currency we were shown on booking) the person in charge of the communication rudly told us that Euro were not acceptable and they only did accept Sterlings so we had to withdraw Sterlings (making us pay more for the exchange and the withdrawl).
There was no hot water, the doors don't lock (they lied to us telling that the doors lock automatically) so we had put a table on the room door for a little bit of safety.
We don't recomend this place to stay in any way. We went only for a night and the cheap price was a deception, we ended up paying more than in a hotel room.
We repeat don't go to this place by any means. You will end up regreting it as we do.

Nice atmosphere. Looks fine outside. Not very far from the city.
Difficulties to get in, waited outside the building a long time. No answer when I called or texted but luckily got in with another quest.
Heating stopped at night, obviously it is not included the service. Fortunately the bed was warm an I had some clothes to dress on.

Location is the only good thing.
There was NO breakfast. The bed smelled untidy. The shower was cold. No soap for washing hands. Mould in the corners. No wifi. Front and back door was open at all times, site was unsafe anyone could just walk in. Never met any staff, the only contact was over the phone. When I complained to booking customer service, they forwarded my message to the owner, who simply just called me a liar. These issues were brought up in other reviews by previous guests too, it is not just my word against his. I felt miserable at the bnb and got no help from customer service to get my money back for this experience.

Easy access to centre
Bed uncomfortable and when we got there we was moved to another house number only next door but we still had to pack up, people talking outside door all hours, also plugs hanging off the wall and electrics showing

Not one thing positive to say.
I could be hear for hours. Back door didn’t lock, it led to the small back garden which was swarming with large rats. Overall the BnB was disgusting and dingy. We had two rooms, and a double. The single was next to the shared bathroom and with paper thin walls, it was a horrible sleep. The double looked nice at first but we soon found balls of hair and I cleaned surfaces throughout. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower didn’t work and there wasn’t a drop of hand soap in the whole building. Our double bed room lock was not secure and we were worried someone would come in during the night. We arrived back briefly at 9pm to change, and we met the supposed cleaner. She was sitting in the sitting room and was openly drinking alcohol. I have no idea what she actually cleaned, it was obvious she had been in our double room (as we found an empty suitcase that wasn’t there before) but nothing have been cleaned. Overall very strange and uncomfortable stay. We were also promised Breakfast but having seen no staff other than the cleaner and no food in the house, I don’t know what happened with that. DO NOT STAY, if I could I’d leave a lower review and get my money back lol

I can see that since I was last here in May that considerable effort has been made to make the property more secure with a good front door lock and key safe. This property continues to offer very reasonable budget accommodation. For what is little more than you might pay for a youth hostel you are getting a room of your own, a nice bed and a more than adequate bathroom, kitchen and living area with TV. The location is in the process of being gentrified (a work in progress, that, however it will get there in time) and it is easy to get to on the Number One bus routes in and out of Central Belfast.
The appointment of the rooms is what you would expect from the very modest price. Missing bathplug in bathroom, but perhaps deliberately so to prevent flooding from shower.

I have already recently reviewed this property. It is excellent value for money if you are just looking for a reasonable bed for the night and are on a bit of a budget.
You get what you pay for and no one is going to mistake this accommodation for a luxury boutique hotel. However, the essentials are all there. It is quite a fine building really and with the area on the up (to my eye) I think it will go from strength to strength.

Everything was wrong with the place. Lack of a lockable front door, an un-shutable back door (bog roll shoved in the hole where the lock should be) left it totally unsecured and dangerous. Locks on the rooms held together with silicone sealant. Filthy inside, exposed wiring, leaking bath, no hot water, no lightbulbs in the fittings, I could go on. The listing is incredibly misleading and it shouldnt be on this website. Just dont book.

I travelled over from England for a friend's baby shower in Belfast. It was only for one night, and I just needed somewhere cheap to stay as I'm on a tight budget. This too. Was an excellent find for a room in Belfast in August at short notice. I wasn't expecting much for the price, and the facilities are very basic, but honestly I don't care at this price point. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I slept really well. It was also a nice quiet location, even on a Saturday night. I appreciated that there were kitchen facilities, which helped save money in breakfast and dinner. The bathroom had also been cleaned and smelled nice. Strongly recommend a visit to Crumlin road gaol visitor attraction, a Victorian prison, which is only 10 mins walk away.
Although there was clean bedding and the house had obviously been cleaned and aired, the previous occupant of the room was a bit whiffy, and I couldn't find any cleaning products to spray around. Also couldn't find any washing up liquid and had to leave a few utensils unwashed in the sink, which I felt bad about. So maybe if the owner could provide some cleaning products for use?

The microwave.
The room didn't have a window. It was a loft. The window attached to the roof was exactly on the bed and the rain made the bed wet. We couldn't close the window because it was broken. I had to use my umbrella to stop the rain falling from the roof on the bed. All the doors and windows were broken in the property. The ovens didn't have shelves and trays. There wasn't any pan or a dish to cook anything. The room didn't have a cupboard for clothes.
There was only one towel for both of us for two days. OMG!
If I rate the cleanliness of the property, I would give it 1 out of 10. The fridge looked like it wasn't cleaned for a couple of months.
