Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Room was lovely and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious

Steve was great when we checked in. However, other front staff never spoke. Room was nice, upgraded to top floor. However, bed comfort wasn't to out liking so didn't sleep well. Room was quiet apart from the sliding wardrobe door was really loud and banged, heard on either side. Breakfast was good, beans luke warm. Staff again, we're great. Quiet location. New car park behind hotel. £14 a day.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The hotel is perfectly located - so stylish! Stephen on the front desk was just brilliant!

Lovely stay in Chester. Couldn’t recommend hotel Indigo enough. Staff were really friendly and helpful, beautiful room and great location. We would definitely return.
4.7
Service was excellent, the room (standard king) was amazing, couldn’t fault any part of our stay
4.7
Lovely hotel. Beautiful room, brilliant service . Very close to the centre of Chester. No complaints

From the moment we arrived he had a warm welcome. The room was immaculate, comfortable and quiet. We had a drink in the bar which was buzzing. We really enjoyed breakfast couldn’t have asked for more!
4.7
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was great and clean.

Very relaxing

Good location for visiting Chester. The hotel was nice, clean and well-appointed. Just be aware there is no hotel parking and parking in Chester is generally a nightmare! The hotel recommended a city centre car park with a good discount but it’s a fair walk from the hotel and has tiny spaces, tight corners and needs knocking down
But overall, I’d go again. Could fault the staff who were very helpful and attentive
4.7
It was an amazing stay, staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious.
4.7
Friendly staff, convenient location.
Good breakfast.
Lovely bathroom.
Room was nice but lacked a chest of drawers.
Everything else was great.
Have stayed at other Indigo Hotels and would seek to do so again - our go to hotel chain.
Good value.

Room was lovely but every time you open to door to the balcony flies come straight in. Mattress was hard but my husband slept amazing in it. All depends what you like. I purchased the anniversary package which was a lovely touch to our weekend away. Service was great and the hotel was all clean. Staff very friendly as well. We would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay! Room was modern and clean, great location and we were given an early check in as we are IHG members. I had pre-purchased a celebration package but unfortunately this was not linked to my booking, so I had to ask for this to be left in the room when we went out. The bed was very comfy, however we did have to remake it ourselves as the mattress protector and flat sheet had only been put on to cover 75% of the bed, with the rest tucked under the bottom of the mattress, and the duvet was not properly inside the cover. Other than that, everything was great! Complimentary teas, coffees, cold drinks and biscuits were much appreciated!

Good position in Chester, easy walking into town, shops, Cathedral. Great staff at reception, breakfast and bar All very helpful and friendly . Room clean and well appointed but a bit small. Bathroom small and nowhere to hang more than 1 wet towel. Really needs a grab rail in the shower for those who are not quite so steady on their feet.
4.7
We loved our brief but wonderful stay. The hotel was aesthetically beautiful and the service was brilliant. High quality drinks and food. We will definitely be back for a weekend away.
4.7
Our stay was great except I booked two separate one via hotels.com and direct with the hotel and I have been charge twice. Still waiting for my refund.

The Indigo Chester is a lovely hotel with a first-rate staff. We arrived early and were able to drop our luggage. Tom at the front gave us some outstanding suggestions for sights to see and places to eat. When we returned at our check-in time our bags had been taken to our beautiful room. Everthing was lovely. From staff to breakfast. I'm vegan and enjoyed the avocado toast in the mornings. The only suggestion I might have to make the breakfast better for people eating plant-based diets is to offer a tofu scramble in lieu of the egg that normally comes with avo toast so protein needs can be met. Easy to walk from the Chester train station and the lovely town. Fantastic place and I'm glad we booked it.
4.7
Great property in a great location, with lots to see and do within a 5-10 min walk. Super attention to detail in all the room amenities offered. Very comfortable bed and great shower, too! Highly recommend!

Hotel was a short drive into Chester. Had to park car somewhere else, but otherwise hotel was in a great location for short walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and the city wall. Reception and bar staff were polite and friendly . Lovely weekend . Decor throughout the hotel was lovely . Room was good . Lovely shower/bathroom area
4.7
Wasn't asked whether we were happy with a disabled room as we checked in (and had booked many months earlier), would prefer a room that doesn't get soaked when you shower.
Outside window was frosted glass
Had to chase breakfast coffee three times before it arrived after 15 mins.
On the positive side the bar staff in the evening were good
4.7
Nice accommodation. Delicious dinner at The Forge restaurant. Breakfast not so much - eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms in English breakfast were undercooked and cold. Parking wasn’t easy and not cheap- no validation. Nice hotel but overpriced for the value.

Stylish hotel, warm and friendly staff, great location. Would recommend highly.

very happy and would stay again

good service

It is simply unacceptable to sell rooms to people and then check them in without mentioning that large numbers of the west facing rooms have screened windows. The answer that ‘it’s because we have overlooking properties’ doesn’t address why you don’t tell prospective guests. Hotel is very good apart from this massive problem.
4.7
Absolutely wonderful staff. Very accommodating to all our needs. Room was lovely and clean amazing shower.
4.7
Hotel very clean, staff great, breakfast fantastic. Location is close to the city walls and also the river. Great trip

Lovely hotel, nice & clean.Staff especially Steve on reception very nice.
4.7
Stayed 2 nights, disappointed that the room wasnt cleaned. We asked and we were ensured that it would be. Never got round to cleaning it, asked for clean towels only 1 towel brought up.
At breakfast a member of staff was arguing with the chef, very unprofessional
4.7
Great staff, decor and facilities.
4.7
Great facilities, loved the room and bathroom- was celebrating my 60th and the birthday card was thoughtful- maybe change this to free drink for 2 as the room was for 2
4.7
Spacious bedroom, good breakfast, very helpful staff, only thing we didn't like was air conditioning in bedroom/no opening windows. Would stay again and recommend to others.
4.7
Nice hotel, good location, easy walk to city centre. Room a bit low on storage, fine for a few days but any longer would have been a struggle. Breakfast choices good, cooked options to order. Reasonable buffet / continental options. Bar atmosphere good at night. Staff very friendly and professional.
4.7
Lovely accommodation and close to station, town and river

The hotel is a 3 Stars as far as the building and 1or 2 stars refering to the front desk staff. The only nice and professional was the italian at breakfast. Perhaps he can train the rest of the staff to be more welcoming and learn how to smile ane say "good morning".Our room was not ready at arrival despiste my VIP access benefit for an early check in after a long journey and noticed in advance. They were "cleaning" the room with a housekeeper supervisor! My god! First day our towels had wholes in them on an advertized "up scale 4 Star hotel". Second night nobody swept or clean the floors and we complain. Again a housekeeping supervisor came to check but when we walk in I pull up the rug and all the dirt have been renoved under it. Once is an honest mistake. Twice is complete ineptitude. The room is so tiny u can not walk around the beds and have almost no access the the so called storage space. The worst was all 2 windows we're imposible to open and let some fresh air came in. After a devastating pandemic as UK had as an architect I can not understand how this is even alowed at all. Location is quite nice. Would not return again and would not go to any other 'Indigo" hotel ever
