The hotel is beautiful, the perfect stay for the golf tournament. It was a busy couple of days, so we didn't get to experience the spa or afternoon tea, so we will save that for next time as both look lovely. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Breakfast has everything you need and the meal in the evening is delicious. We opted for the buffet both evenings and wasn't disappointed.
In hindsight, I would have upgraded our room to a view over the course. Our room overlooked buildings, and we had noisy extract fans, and as it was very warm, we had the windows open.

We stayed during the British Masters. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly, we had a free upgrade to our room. Hotel bars were excellent. Lovely setting, parking was no issue, room very clean and comfortable.

not much of a buzz around the bar .. however it was sunday night..

The room was clean, with the exception of the smell. The facilities are excellent at the resort.
I was in room 2422. This had several downsides. The sink in the bathroom was broken and flooded the whole apartment drench my change of clothes. The room smelt of cigarette smoke, so I had to open the window which wasn't a problem until the staff setting up the buggies for the day (at approx. 7am) were shouting and generally noisy. A really unpleasant experience overall. Also, the bar staff we ridiculously slow and not very attentive (in the Barbrazon bar), it wasn't even busy but drinks were taking 10 minutes or so, just to order. They staff were young and were just interested in chatting to one another rather than paying attention to the customers.

The staff were exceptional and personal. The majority of the staff were quite young and other places I’ve stayed have meant that the staff thus didn’t understand the needs of the elder generation, but this was the opposite, their attention to detail outweighed everything!

The lady on reception,very efficient.
Called 5 times and they never answered their phone.

Outdated and needs a refurbishment
Rooms to small, outdated and no aircon

Came to play golf and wasn’t disappointed with the course
No room service was a big disappointment after a long journey.

It is a good place
Really expensive room for what it is. Expected a better price booking 10months in advance. Specially when we came for a wedding and bride and groom spent thousands.

wide and relaxing
misunderstanding the offer

At 8.30am someone had a key to open my door and just barged in without knocking. Invasion of my privacy
Then there was a hair in my breakfast!
Won't stay again

Lovely room, comfortable beds and stunning views. A great place to have my son's wedding.
Breakfast wasn't included and at the price I paid I would have expected a continental breakfast. The guests across the hall were very noisy early morning.

View was good
Being on ground floor no net curtains only thick ones so no privacy but room and view of golf course nice just no privacy if thick curtains were up could have left thicker ones OPENED

breakfast was really nice and good value as came included with room price ,staff were friendly and helpful
booked a double room was given a twin room with 2 single beds after queuing with staff they said this is all they have available and they sent out staff to tie singles into a double but was not comfortable ,room had a connecting room door where next door left tv on till 3am and was very loud so had a bad sleep .Food for dinner service was ok but drinks where very expensive.Booked a treatment at the spa once arrived was told extra charges for robes and slippers reception advised me this was free .Overall not the best stay would stay again but maybe not on a weekend and in a different room

spa was nice. bedroom was spacious and comfortable. breakfast in bed option was very good (on time etc) and was wonderful food too. a lot of options for food/ bar and nice atmosphere everywhere.
dust / cobwebs in quite a few areas of the buildings (bedroom and eatery facilities). not very well organised for check in for the spa but that may be down to other attendees and not necessarily the staff/ spa. but the online check in / medical forms could be made a little easier to understand especially when organising for two people or more

Really enjoyed my stay here, lovely spa. Breakfast was delicious. I would visit again, probably booking earlier in advance to hopefully get a nicer room.
The room was a bit noisy and not sure how thorough the cleaning was as I had found someone else's clothes in the wardrobe, also my dinner tray (from about 6 pm) was still outside the room in the morning.

Loved the look of the hotel. It looks very luxurious and cosy especially near to the xmas period. Hotel is clean and the staff are kind.
The creased/damaged curtains in my room which needed replacing and there were no vegan meat for breakfast.
