About this lodge
Outlaws' Haven is a custom built, spacious home boasting beautiful views and a peaceful surrounding. It's continuously updated, focusing on the comfort and enjoyment of guests. There are 3 levels including a downstairs basement with two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The front door opens into a beautiful great room with tongue in groove ceilings and a stone fireplace to the ceiling with a loft above. There are cherry hardwood floors throughout and luxuriously carpeted bedrooms. The large gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for entertaining a large group. The dining room provides seating for 8 and a locally made kitchen table has seating for 8. A large primary bedroom, a bunk room and a guest room are all located on the main floor. The loft has two trundle twin beds. The primary suite has a king-sized bed with sliding glass doors opening to the deck. The ensuite bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and separate glass enclosed shower and a walk-in closet. The Bunk room includes a twin over a full-sized bunk bed and a separate twin bed. The top bunk has a weight limit of 80 pounds. This suite has access to a private covered deck. There is a guest bathroom across the hall. The guest room has a king bed with an ensuite bathroom. The basement is accessed through the garage and was built as an "in-laws" suite. The larger of the two rooms has a king bed, a sofa and 65" smart TV and provides access to a private deck with a luxurious 8-person hydrotherapy hot tub. The smaller room has a queen bed and a bathroom attached. The large deck off of the main floor offers a wonderful place to sit and take in the beauty of the High Country. Outlaws' Haven sits at 4000 feet. This is our FAVORITE part of the house! On the deck, there is a large sectional sofa (in warmer months), a propane fire table and a dining table that seats 8. Centrally located, you are in walking distance to the Mountains-to-Sea hiking trail and a cycling group rides by in the summer months, going to the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Tweetsie Railroad is 3.5 miles away, Appalachian Ski Mountain is 7 miles, App State is a 9-mile drive and Banner Elk ski resorts are 17 miles away. The quaint town of Blowing Rock is just 5 miles from the front door. We are excited to share our Haven and are sure you will be back!

The house is very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. There's 2 nice bedrooms downstairs off the garage but there's only 1 bathroom downstairs for the 2 bedrooms to share. The only issue is you have to walk thru one of the bedrooms to use the bathroom. For our group this wasn't an option so we ended up not using one of the bedrooms downstairs and my adult son slept in the loft instead. This bathroom situation is not clear in the description but nonetheless we had a wonderful stay.

So enjoyed our family’s stay at this beautiful property. It’s just as described in the listing maybe even better. Everything you need is right there and more. The deck on the back of the house is where our family spent most of our time. The view was stunning. Would 100% come back here again.

What a beautiful view and a beautiful home! We visited during the winter months for our annual Girl's retreat with my mom, sisters, and loads of daughters! The home was very well stocked, we cooked every meal. We enjoyed the hot tub, especially while it was snowing outside. Loved being only a short walk to the Mountains to Sea trail. Staci, the host, was very responsive. The set up with the bedrooms in the basement was a bit of a surprise to us, walking through the garage to access; but it worked out so well in the end. My sister and her daughters and little grandbaby slept there and we nicknamed it the "Haven". We would love to visit again in the warmer months to enjoy the large outdoor deck and covered porches! Thank you!

The pictures do not do this house justice! It was a “wow” when we walked in! The spacious living area and kitchen were great for the 3 families that stayed here for a weekend of skiing. The owners were very responsive. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. We wish it was warmer to be able to spend some time on the huge deck with nice views! The kids enjoyed the hot tub after a chilly day of skiing! We would definitely stay here again!

The view was beautiful sitting around the outdoor fire table. Three en-suite rooms were very comfortable. The in-law suite did require several steps through the garage. Once inside it was our own oasis. All communication with the owners was quick and efficient. There were games and lots for small kids to be entertained. The driveway is tricky. We loved our stay.

The property was wonderful - clean, convenient, and great for multi families. We were 3 families (all with kids) and it was enough space that we all could have privacy if we wanted. The loft space was a great place for the kids to play and another flex sleep space. The owner was really easy to work with and even switched our dates after our reservation we found out we had a conflict. The best part of the house was the views!!!! And the parkway location makes it super convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, etc.!

I highly recommend this house for any group of friends, family or both! We had 10 ladies 55 and over staying here for a tennis event. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were all comfortable with plenty of towels in the bathrooms! The hot tub was exactly what we needed😀. Thank you Stacy for being a wonderful host.

We celebrated my mom’s 84th birthday with our extended family. We had an unbelievable trip and Outlaw’s Haven was the perfect home for our celebration. The property, rooms and amenities were first class and the property host thought of everything for the stay. Beautiful views, a spacious deck and an excellent floodplain made for a special time together. The property is also well located in proximity to both Boone and Blowing Rock!

This is the best home we have rented by far! The amenities were actually better than on the listing! Communication with the owner was outstanding even honoring a special request. The home was very clean and was equipped with everything we would need. The view is amazing. We enjoyed the spacious outside deck and the hot tub is amazing! Would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the High Country! We will look to book again next year!

This house was great for our family vacation. We have four households that gathered together. We were all comfortable. The kitchen was great and we could all fit to do our "family cooking thing". Staci was very communicative when we had questions.

Our group of thirteen, including 6 adults, several teenagers and a mix of young children and toddler, enjoyed The Outlaw’s place so much. It was well equipped, including kitchen goodies like spices, snacks, even items for simple mixed drinks if needed. The bedding was perfect for us, which I never typically find in a rental. The space itself was more than adequate to accommodate our group size and we all had fun gathering around the living room for chatting and movies, and equally the basement space with the table tennis, bean bag toss, foosball and hot tub.
The location is very private with amazing Mountain Views and a perfect deck to enjoy it on.
There is also an easy and quick 13 minute drive to downtown Blowing Rock (love it!) and maybe 15-20 to Boone.

We assembled a group of 45+ year old friends for a weekend of yoga and fellowship.
The house was laid out perfectly for sleeping accommodations and LOVED the very well stocked kitchen!
The open space lent itself extraordinarily well for gathering together while cooking and preparing.
The deck was a perfect place to not only watch the sunrise and enjoy the local wildlife, but also to have a few yoga classes.
Overall a beautiful house and super easy to find, check into, and communication with Staci was great! We are already planning our next one!

After a very stressful beginning to our trip because our original rental was not as expected Staci literally came to our rescue! I contacted her at 10:00pm Wednesday night after checking in at our house & immediately realizing we had made a mistake in booking. She responded & was extremely kind, empathetic, & helpful. We were able to mostly stay packed & only sleep one night in the original house because she worked to ensure we could check into to her property first thing Thursday morning. I had a great feeling from the first conversation, Staci was genuinely concerned & wanted to help! When we arrived at The Outlaws home we could not have been more satisfied. This home is even more beautiful in person! The layout is open + airy! Perfect for a group with children ranging in ages as we had! It feels homey & elevated at the same time. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, & the home has been loved & well maintained. The view is gorgeous! The location is perfect! The roads leading to the house are nothing too crazy & the drive way held our four vehicles comfortably. I cannot say enough good things about this home or Staci. I am most definitely a tough critic & I was more than satisfied with this home + experience! Thank you, Staci!!!!!!

Beautiful location and home! Love the home, it was clean, well stocked with everything we needed. Even though we were there during the most harshest weather Boone had seen, and we were stuck in the house and couldn't go out anywhere we had a very comfortable stay. Our family was able to celebrate Christmas around the beautifully decorated tree. It was a very memorable trip for our family. The host (Staci) was amazing and very responsive.

We stayed the week after Christmas and the gist put up a beautiful Christmas tree! The fir welkace kept us warm and the town of Blowing Rock was so charming. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals. It was a lovely week full of family memories that will last a lifetime!

We enjoyed this property and it had plenty of space and bedrooms for our family of 11 to spread out. We wanted a house with 3 king size beds and this house fit that requirement! We have 3-year-old twins and they enjoyed the toy area in the loft. We loved the hot tub and sitting by the firepit on the deck! The house is located close to Blowing Rock which has a great playground for children. Communication with Staci, the property owner, was great too!
Wished we could have stayed longer! We definitely plan to come back!

The description of Outlaw's Haven was spot on but it was even better than we expected! We were a group of 8 women and we couldn't have asked for a better gathering place. We are experienced and enthusiastic home cooks and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to enjoy our meals! The beds were comfortable...the views outstanding...the fireplace excellent. Perfect for our group!
Annual guys golf trip to the high country, and this house was perfect. The deck, the great room, and the ping pong tournaments in the basement were all hits. Definitely recommend for a big group.
