It was amazing and such nice people (staff)
Can recommend it.

The location is absolutely stunning, the welcome is warm and the house cat is gorgeous - and Queen of this particular castle.
The hotel is beautiful but also quirky. Our room, the Emperor room was nicely decorated in dark green with a big antique cupboard. There’s a lovely view, only very slightly obscured by the conservatory. It has tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s worth noting: our room was not en-suite. The bathroom which is clean and tidy - but has an off putting dark brown/black bathroom suite - was opposite the bedroom. The separate bathroom ok but … the bathroom for a neighbouring room also seemed to be opposite our bedroom door. It’s an old house so the original floorboards and doors make a lot of noise. It did disturb our sleep. We would stay here again, but not bank on getting too much sleep! Breakfast service starts at 0830, so we missed it as we had to leave at 0800. The coastal walk is wonderful.

One of the best Bed and Breakfast places we’ve ever stayed in. The house is located right by the water, a charming manor that’s well maintained. The staff working here are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stocked with amenities.
The breakfast offers some good options including fresh fruits and Greek yogurt. They also offer laundry service which we took an advantage of. It was very nice to see the folded warm laundry delivered into our room after a day of mountain climbing.
Highly recommended!

Awesome and beautiful location! Amazing staff. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful property and lovely staff. We’d definitely return-
The only thing I think travelers might want to know is that the bathroom, although only for our room’s use, was across the hall. Minor inconvenience, but some people might want to know.

This is a really great bed and breakfast. The hosts are very helpful, and they started our stay with tea and cookies! The rooms are very tastefully restored, and it's a beautiful property right by the water. We enjoyed sitting outside. They provide breakfast, but you can also eat an excellent dinner there for a little extra. Definitely recommend this property.

Not sure if this is really a hotel as the layout doesn’t work. We stayed in the Emperor Room and were very surprised when told that our private bathroom was across the common hallway from our room, and that it could not be locked by us from the outside. So, we couldn’t leave anything in there, anyone could have used it, and in the middle of the night you have to leave your room to go to the toilet. Also, I can’t stand small dining rooms where your conversation is overheard by the next table. It felt more like staying at someone’s house because there was no privacy. Great spa! Very good food. The garden igloos were 50 euro to hire to eat in so nobody used them. They should make them free. All in all nice but wouldn’t do it again.

This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. We were served a wonderful dinner and then enjoyed the hot tub with wonderful views. Our room was stunning, we loved the decor. In the morning we were able to eat our breakfast in a bubble that gave us an unobstructed view of the landscape, which was also breathtaking

It was a lovely, small hotel which felt more like a private home, and in a good way!
Idyllic location with beautiful views across the loch.

Comfortable room in an old house right on the loch. Food was excellent. Staff was great. Our room had a bathtub and no shower.

The house, grounds and location are excellent. The food was very good. The staff was welcoming and attentive. We stayed in the French room and the private bathroom is across the hall.

One of the most beautiful sites in Scotland and property was very comfortable and enjoyable

This hotel is a hidden gem in a breath taking location and I am sure is en-route to be one of the best highland boutique hotel & spa experiences. The staff are fantastic and the quality of the food is outstanding, using local produce to its best. Although a little quirky due to the physical layout of the building the rooms are really comfortable and well appointed.

A fantastic place to stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating. A beautiful location.

The view is amazing, and the manor itself has nice interiors and make it such an amazing experience to stay in this house. Ela and her team provides excellent service too. I had my best sleep here throughout the whole trip, with the sound of the waves. Highly recommended!

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. We had to end up sleeping on the floor as the bed was so soft. The room we stayed in was marked as a “garden room”
But was directly off the kitchen and so we were woken up by loud children having their breakfast.

Extremely charming and quirky place to enjoy the lower highlands. In early December, the rooms were on the cool side, but bed heaters made sleeping a joy. You can also heat up in the sauna, steam room, and hot tub spa! We enjoyed great meals at nearby hotels/restaurants and a fabulous walk up the hills around Glencoe.

Absolutely amazing stay for my partners birthday. After wild camping for a week we had a very warm welcome and instantly felt very comfortable. The area the property sits on is gorgeous with amazing views and it’s own private beach. The property itself is unbelievable and very clean, we got upgraded to a bigger room free of charge and wow we were very lucky! Can’t thank you enough for making our last day on our trip the best and we will be back agai! Thank you so so much!

Ella, the owner, is wonderful. She was most accomodating and helpful. Inique property on the water we enjoyed.

Ela received us upon arrival and accommodated a late check in. We only stayed a night and wish we had stayed longer. The property is incredible, and the room big and spacious. The bed was heaven and bathroom great! Breakfast in the AM was very very good. Overall, highly recommend staying here, but suggest three nights to be able to enjoy area around property.

Unique country home on the Loch. Peaceful setting in a beautiful country estate

This is a beautiful guest house, situated right on Loch Leven, with gorgeous views of the loch and mountains.
Ella is currently adding a spa and sauna, so there was a bit of construction but nothing that bothered us.
The breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. Ella is a wonderful, helpful host.
I would highly recommend this property.
