Location is good, 5 mins walk from train station. In between Family Mart and 7-11. Staff are professional, friendly and great service.

Not a posh luxury hotel. But a great value for money.
Bathtub, good location and reasonable room sizing.
But the biggest pro of all, was the breakfast! So much fish, rice, eggs and so on. But especially the fish section was out of this world.
Furtherly they were nice, respectfull and no long waiting for elevators and so on.

We followed the hotel recommendation by KinYuDee YouTube channel. As it’s recommended, Vessel Inn Takadanobaba provided us the services as seen in the KinYuDee except we didn’t know that the buffet breakfast could be very crowded between 8-9.30am. The staff were trying their best to accommodate the guests hungers in the morning. They should have arranged the time slots for guests in advance so people do not have to be accumulated at once in the small lobby area.
Tax free shops, train stations and restaurants are in short distance from hotel.

The room was a double room and it was small like most in Tokyo. It was very clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We left our luggage after checkout and the staff didn't have any problems just keeping them for us. Though we did see lockers and most ppl were using them.
The breakfast choice was sufficient. Sushi and rice in the morning was interesting and very Japanese. It was nice! The coffee was very strong which I liked, especially to wake up in the mornings!
The area around the hotel was busy, just one thing I would comment, is if only the hotel has a free shuttle service to Shinjuku, as it would make travelling to the airport more straight forward. Overall, the stay was very good and pleasant!

Staff were very friendly and spoke English well which helped many foreign visitors. Easy to get to train stations. Breakfast was very good with many selections.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the JR line, making it easy to reach Shinjuku and other shopping areas. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring I felt welcome throughout my stay. The hotel's cleanliness and amenities were good.

Right next to subway. Staff was polite and helpful.

The breakfast buffet is the best! Try also the small ramen store behind the hotel. Very good!

Property is great and affordable!

Great location right next to the the Yamanote Line. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The hotel is situated a main train line and is a junction to three of four other train lines. Staff is friendly and speaks English well. Best stay I've had in Tokyo so far.

I absolutely love the location of this hotel – right across from the Takadanobaba JR station, it’s the closest I’ve ever stayed to a subway entrance. The area is peaceful, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The building is in excellent condition, and the staff provides outstanding service. They even offer a variety of self-help amenities, which is incredibly considerate. The complimentary drinks from 2 to 11 PM are a fantastic bonus. The only downside is the extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows. Despite staying for 7 nights, neither my husband nor I had a good night’s sleep. We both felt exhausted every day. I hope they can address this issue for a more comfortable stay in the future.

An unexpected surprise! A great hotel! Relatively cheap but bright, clean and friendly with really comfortable beds and great pillows. We bought two 🤗

Great hotel to stay in Tokyo, 5 minute walk from station(JR and Tokyo Metro) convenient access to several shops and bars and places to eat. Hotel is clean and staff is great
4.6
Chose the hotel because of the breakfast, it was good with multiple Japanese food options. The hotel itself is more like a hotel for business. It is close to subway, but not much things or big malls nearby. No early checkin. Need to go to the other side of the building for taxi. The price is reasonable, but for travel I would probably stay in other places next time.

The hotel is so closely located near the station. It took just 2 minutes, it is very convenient for us to visit Shinjuku main street by metro. Morning meal was also good.
4.6
The room we got for 2 was smaller in comparison to Western Rooms, but it served its purpose; we didnt miss the extra space. The kettle & mini fridge were a great addition. A hair dryer is provided. Overall I loved the firm bed and letting the room get chilly. Theres metro stop that conncets on the bottom of the hotel or the JR lines across the street.
Convenient 7 Eleven and other small markets about 20-50ft away in case you crave late night snacks.
Overall a really great loaction for the hotel.
The breakfast is Japanese style, lots of rice or miso soup and a variety of raw fish as well as some griled fish. Sometimes fried/griled chicken, braised pork belly, cold meatballs, fresh squeezed juice, and yogurts.

Have to pay additional fee to get a big room for 3 twin bed

This hotel was brand new when we stayed there 3/23. It was our two-day landing to acclimate to the Tokyo time-zone. It was a great pick.
The breakfast buffet was huge and lavish. It set the standard for all the rest of our stops. The staff could not have been more patient and helpful to jet-lagged visitors.
Across the street there are many small restaurants serving one or two types of Japanese and Korean food. There is an American diner in case you crave a milkshake and cheese burger, the Takanabobo train station, and a convenient always-ready taxi stand. There is a small alley-street behind the hotel which is quite lively with music and bars that many people seemed to enjoy on Friday and Saturday nights.
