About this apartment rental
Light filled, comfortable, and spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Westbourne Park/Maida Vale, 15 min walk from Notting Hill, 10 min walk to Golborne Road shops and restaurants. 2 min walk to buses and 6 min walk to Westbourne Park tube station. Sleeps 5 people. Just about 10 mins walk to Little Venice restaurants.
A full kitchen which has just been renovated with a Nespresso machine and cafetière (French press) for coffee, kettle and tea pots for making tea, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, washer/dryer, oven, stove/hob, and dishwasher. Dinnerware is available as well as salt, pepper, olive oil and some herbs and spices.
Heating is available - there is a boiler that provides hot water and heating comfortably throughout the apartment via radiators in various rooms.
STRICTLY NO SMOKING ALLOWED in the apartment or the premises including the balcony! If it is detected that the guest(s) smoked in the flat, deposit will be cut for additional cleaning fees. If you prefer to smoke in the apartment, we encourage you to find an alternate accommodation.
Work desk, chair, and a 24-inch monitor are available for remote working possibility.
The cleaning fee partially covers the cleaning cost for 3 hours (£50) as well as to send the linen to a laundrette for wash/dry/fold (£40).

Fantastic flat, just 2 stops from Paddington and 5 min walk to the nearest underground. Super clean, well laid out, and very quiet. Would definitely book again and recommend.

This was a great place for a family to see London. It was spacious, close to great restaurants, and close to transit stations. The selling point for me was the second bedroom with two twin beds that enabled the kids to not have to share bed.
The flat has everything that you would need to enjoy a stay. The kitchen is recently remodeled and has a Nespresso machine (and pods), French press, etc. We ended up eating in a few times and used the kitchen frequently.
Also, the washer / dryer combo was a big hit for us. It allowed us to pack significantly less and still be comfortable. (I would note that the listing only indicates a washer but the dryer is an option on the unit as well).
As a welcome gift, the host provided wine, beer, and water as a starter along with jam and bread.
For those traveling internationally, there are two adapters in the kitchen that can be used. Additionally, the kitchen outlets have USB charging (both standard and USB-C).
The host was one of the best I've encountered. Pav was there to greet us and help with the check in process (which was extremely easy). Pav followed up with additional advice and checked to see if we needed a mid-stay freshen up.
I honestly wish all hosts had the same attention to detail as Pav and made stays as enjoyable as this one.

Pros: The check-in/check-out process was extremely simple, and it was very easy to locate property. The location is very quiet, and having bus stops right across the street was very convenient (and forced us to finally learn how to navigate London via bus, ha!).
Cons: We like to cook when we travel, and it was quite a walk to a decent grocery store, but not impossible, even with two kids (ages 6 and 9) in tow. There is a very small grocery store just up the street for basics if that's all you need.

Pav made us feel comfortable and welcomed during every part of our stay - from before arrival (easy, flexible check-in process and a flat manual for any questions we may have), until we departed. Her London flat is located in a safe, easily accessible area, just a 5 minute walk from a Tube station that will take you anywhere you want to visit in London. There are several restaurants within short walking distance (our favorite was Dhaba@49, which serves Indian cuisine).
The flat itself was just the restful home away from home we needed after long days of exploring the city. It was well-appointed (herringbone floors, new kitchen, deep tub, updated fixtures), and we were delighted at the size of the flat (spacious living and dining area). I our two teens appreciated having their own beds. The beds, topped with down-filled duvets and nice linens, were comfortable, with blackout shades in each bedroom. As coffee lovers, we appreciated the added luxury of a Nespresso maker. Lastly, while we didn’t travel to London to watch TV, it was a nice way to wind down each night (we capped the night with Paddington 1 & 2 on Netflix).
In short, we were delighted with our stay and recommend without hesitation. Pav is an excellent host.

My husband, mother, daughter and I stayed for a week at Pav's flat. She was wonderful to work with - communicative, welcoming and accommodating. It was good value and very close to transportation - walkable to Portabello and convenient to get to/from Paddington.
The flat is quiet and clean - basic accommodations but well laid out and comfortable. A little far from the downtown London action, but there are buses and tube stations nearby, and given the difference in cost I know we made the right choice. We had a wonderful vacation.
Highly recommend Mosob for dinner - really very good Eritrean/Ethiopian food just around the corner.

We enjoyed our stay in this bright and cute home away from home. It was safe, clean, and cozy! Pav was quick to respond and made us feel welcome. The amenities were more than perfect. The shower water temperature was a bit tricky to get to perfect, but we managed to get the hang of it. Pav shared with us that they are going to make adjustments. Regardless, we still loved this place. It was also close to the underground train and other modes of transportation.

We were five MBA students on our way to Greece for a study abroad trip and chose to start in London for 3 days. The property and location were perfect..and the owner, Mrs.Smith was amazing. She was very helpful and thorough about the area and the unit was perfect. We had everything we needed, plenty of room and she allowed us to check in early. She is truly a Super Host.

The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything anyone could need for their stay. The owner, Pav, couldn’t be nicer or more responsive and helpful. She even found a dentist for my mother while we were there. The apartment is close to bus lines and metro stations can be easily accessed. There are grocers and restaurants nearby and many things in easy walking distance.

This was our first time booking with Vrbo. The instructions and information from Pav were concise and helpful.
The 2 bedroom property has a double room, twin room and sofa bed. Bathroom with over shower bath, plenty of wardrobe space, lounge/dinner and gallery kitchen. Modern furniture and decor, a clean and relaxing space was enjoyed with all amenities, bedding, towels and household appliances available to boot. Please note the property is accessed via stairs, all level once in property.
The neighborhood was relatively quiet for London, with easy access to both bus and tube routes.
Close to Portabello Market and Notting Hill, with Westbourne Park Underground a short walk away (zone 2).
Located near the canal, sedate walks into the centre or locally can be joined whilst exploring local places to eat/drink. Pav provided a comprehensive list of recommended eateries and transport options.
The property has been added as a future favourite that would be quickly checked for it's availablity when next travelling in the area.

Our overall experience here was wonderful. Check in was very easy. Building doesn’t have elavator but it was on the 1st floor so no biggie. The apartment was very well lit, comfy bedrooms and sofa bed, an additional sitting area in living room and tv not in pictures. The kitchen is fully equipped. The location was very easy access and close to Portobello. And the host was absolutely lovely. Made us feel welcomed. Even had a wine bottle for us. Always had recommendations of things to do near by and very responsive. Highly recommend this listing.
