Convenient hotel with good location.

This is a really convenient hotel when arriving by train from nagano station - it is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel was well positioned and quiet. Staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful and luggage could be stored easily when arriving before the check-in time. We didn't have any meals at the hotel and so can't comment on these. The room was small but had everything that we needed.

ロケーションが良かったこと長野駅前の立地でも静寂性があった。

朝食会場が畳の間で靴を脱ぐのが良くない。ものを食べる前に自分の靴とはいえ箱への出し入れ作業に清潔感がない。

A fantastic location at a very reasonable cost

It is in a fantastic location very close to the train station and the main attractions, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean.

Large room, close to station

Very large room, very convenient to train station, good amenities. If you don't like to take the shortcut beside the train tracks at night to the station, you can just go on the main road. Good price!

An excelente first night in Japan. Perfect gateway to Hakuba

It was continently located. Had tea and coffee machines in the lobby in tap. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in Japan.

Het hotel oogt erg groot en zakelijk aan de buitenkant, maar binnen was de sfeer wel goed. De kamers zijn ook wat zakelijk maar heel ruim en schoon, bedden prima. Van de trein die achter het hotel langs loopt, heb je geen last. Vanuit de ontbijtzaal heb je heel mooi uitzicht over de stad en op de bergen.

Men is erg precies met het sluiten van het ontbijt. Om 09.02 werd me te verstaan gegeven dat ik moest vertrekken: dat kwam wel wat ongastvrij over. Maar ja, die stiptheid (en strengheid) is typisch Japans; daar moest ik toen nog even aan wennen...

Chisun Grand is a comfortable hotel so close to Nagano Station which we can highly recommend.

The room was spacious by Japanese standards. The ice machines on every floor and the washing machines /dryers and the availability of an iron was much appreciated. An excellent Japanese breakfast - very good. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was very good. Excellent complimentary grooming products available in the foyer and the reception staff was superb. The hotel is only a short easy walk to the JR station.

A value for money stay!

The room is spacious by Japanese hotel standard. We have an upgraded room with massage chair! So was very nice after a day’s walk. Outside the room there is an ice machine which is very useful for cold drinks in the heat of summer. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the Nagano Station. A very important point when travelling through Japan. The breakfast room is located on the top floor and food is mostly Japanese style but very fine. The hotel also provides a self service locker system where guests can lock up their luggage’s before check in /out . The hotel is within 10 minutes walk to the central station and one can also stroll along the main road leading to the beautiful Zenkoji.

They had the option to rent bikes for very cheap, which made sight-seeing around Nagano a breeze. Room was very comfortable and staff was always very kind

There is a laundry service. However, we needed to use the dryer three times to get our clothes to be completely dry.

Exceptional

The breakfast was very nice and on the impressive 12th floor! They also had free drinks and small snacks (biscuits) in the lobby on arrival. Definitely lives up to its name of Grand.

Generous sized rooms, comfortable stay with laundry facilities. Ask for a room that doesn’t overlook the train tracks.

The twin rooms were on the larger size for Japan and were comfortable. The hotel provided complementary amenities including cleanser, toner, moisturiser. They also provided free hot drinks and sleepwear. There is also laundry room. Hotel staff were friendly.

The hotel was about a 10 min walk from the station. One side of the hotel abuts on to the railway line. We were given the room that directly looked onto the railway line on the 7th floor. There was some train noise but it didn’t keep us awake at night. If you stay here suggest you ask for a room that isn’t directly next to the railway line.
