The view is breathtaking, to wake up at sunrise or to see the sunset there is amazing. Having excellent breakfast with the monkeys. Awesome price and very welcoming people, thank you!

The beauty of location and kindness of the hosts

We felt so much at home here that we extended our stay. The hosts are very caring and respectful. The breakfast is so good, and rich! The view is gorgeous (especially sunrise). Warmly recommended!

We visited in the rainy season, and there were quite some flies and mosquitoes. The mosquito net over the bed made sleeping most comfortable, but when sitting outside on the terrace it got a little intense at times.

The breakfast was absolutely AMAZING !!! Omelette , bread , roti,pumpkin curry, and lots of fruit

Everything! The hosts were very kind, attentive and helpful without being intrusive . The view is out of this world and the breakfast is the best I’ve had in all my stays in Sri Lanka .. amazing !! Highly recommended

We stayed on 5th and 6th August 2023. Location and view was superb. Food was delicious. Owner's are very friendly. Specially the lady Duleeka was very supportive and caring towards customers. Definitely value for money. Recommended for anyone for a good stay at Ella.

Best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. The view is great and it is a good starting point for hikes. The family was amazing, our host showed us a shortcut to Ella Rock and our hostess even went down into the city with me and showed me a restaurant (when I came back again for the second time alone without my boyfriend) and helped me with my planning. Everything was perfect, thank you!

Property is a 7 minute tuck tuck ride from the Main high street in Ella, Large room, amazing views of Ella Rock, spotlessly clean, wonderful hosts, incredible breakfast.

It’s a really nice place to be. The Breakfast was awesome and the view just stunning! The hosts are so lovely! just loved it !

The customer service was exceptional at this hotel, the staff are friendly and provided good information on where I should visit in and around the city. It took me around 15 minutes walk to get to Ella town from this hotel, however they can assist in helping you get a Tuktuk to town, the ride cost around 700 Sri Lankan Rupees and its a 5 minutes ride to town. They provided a lovely sri lankan breakfast each morning , which consist of delicious fruits and also tea or coffee. The view from the hotel of the mountains is amazing don't forget to bring your camera!

The furniture is abit dated but to their credit they take pride in keeping the rooms very clean.

The place has good potential - big rooms, terrace with the view, nice food, but it all requires a general cleaning!! It's not possible to enjoy stay if something as basic as cleaness is not cared for. The furniture is old but still comfy and it didn't bother us for this price.

Was a little far out of the town but had beautiful location. The road was a little noisy early hours even though it's a very small track road.

The view and serenity of this property was amazing. Our room and all the rooms had the perfect view overlooking Little Adam's peak. The owners greeted us with freshly brewed black tea, fruits and biscuits. It was so relaxing after a long journey from Mirissa. The room was spotless clean, the bathroom was comfortably functional and spacious. Our room had a sofa, which was a huge plus. All rooms have a table and chairs on their porch and the owners serve a great breakfast facing the view. You can have your breakfast at whatever time you like, they bring omelette, coconut roti, extensive fruits, dhal or one kind of local dish and freshly brewed coffee or tea. They are very positive people and they do everything to make you comfortable. They even arranged a tuktuk for us when we were leaving to the train station. We went there for 2 nights but ended up staying 4 nights. It was the best place we stayed in whole Sri Lanka.

The location is a bit up the hill but most of the homestays in Ella are like that. Just follow the train tracks from Ella station until the point it hits Waterfall Road, it's way easier than climbing Waterfall Road. Or you can always take a tuktuk.

Everything! The dinner which Delica makes is delicious- her breakfast is to die for. Huge mounds of fruit, roti, various curries or deal each day. Toast. Pots of tea etc. Amazing value. Served to you outside your room by the charming Susantha. We shall definitely be back.

The hotel has an amazing view and an unforgettable sunrise. The hosts were very nice, they prepared a great breakfast and were very helpful.

We loved the room it was clean and quite big. The view is even better than advertised you can reach the city in 15mins by foot or take the shortcut via the railway to get there even faster. The breakfast is amazing and offers a lof of different fruits. The owners where really friendly and offered us tea each time we came back from hiking. Would definitely stay there again if we ever come back to ella.

Best place to stay in Ella. The family is super nice and helpful. We had fabulous Sri Lankan breakfast with omelets, pancakes, dhal and fruits. Walking to Ella Main Street only takes about 10 minutes.
