Great place to stay, so close to Galata Tower. We had great time.

Fantastic location, very spacious, clean, and comfortable apartment in the heart of the Galata district; the view from the rooftop terrace is equal to the view from the top of the Galata Tower, but without the lineup :)

The apartment could not have been in a better location. Right next to the Galata Tower with heaps of restaurants in the area. Great!

Pros: -Steps from Galata tower -Walkable to great restaurants, cafes and shopping -Plenty of well-equipped space, high ceilings and large Turkish-style marble bathroom -Beautiful panoramic view of the city from the rooftop -Great communication and assistance from Team Istanbul Cons: -Common space in building not well maintained or clean, especially the rooftop and outdoor furniture on the rooftop -Air conditioning units in bedrooms only, not central -No clothes dryer Overall the location and space make it a good value for families and groups. Would certainly return.

Met from taxi and shown around flat, manager responded to texts really quickly, good local restaurant recommendations. Flat was clean and tidy and perfect location for visiting city .

We were four friends trsvbeling, and we had an amazing stay at the apartment. The location is right in the city center - with the veiw of Galata tower outside the windows, and from the rooftop terrace. Around the apartment there are many shops and good resturants for both dining and drinks :) The hamam bathroom were used every day!! I highligh recommend it :) Julia and Tarkan we’re easy to contact and gave us many recommendstions for our stay in Istanbul. We look forward to re-visit this beautiful city and would stay no other place than in this perfect apartment :)

Tarkan and Julia, our hosts, have thought of everything to make this apartment comfortable for our group of 6. We used the airport transport service--first class experience and convenient, highly recommend. Tarkan greeted us for a brief orientation to the warm and cozy apartment located just next to the Galata Tower. The view from the rooftop terrace gave us a panoramic 360 view of Istanbul. The Galata neighborhood was quaint, with lots of cafes and shops. A short 10 minute walk across the Galata bridge brought us to all the magnificent history of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Roman Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern and Grand Bazaar. Also, there we caught the Bosphorus River Boat Tour, and then disembarked on the Asian side to explore those neighborhoods. We were very happy with our choice in the Galata neighborhood -- the apartment is centrally located to all the amazing sites, sounds and tastes of Istanbul, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, comfortable beds, and responsive hosts. Fantastic views especially for the new year fireworks at roof top terrace! Very comfortable for the whole family. Loved the kitchen, wish had done more cooking but so many good cafes around and we loved trying Turkish food! Tried the apt’s Hamam bath after a long day out. Was great for my tired body. Situated in one of the most vibrant spots in the city, this apartment, met and exceeded our expectations. Along with the location and livability of the apartment, the communications with the owner and apartment manager were the best we’ve ever experienced on Vrbo. Five adults spending four days in Istanbul couldn’t have been happier with the residence we rented.

Excellent location. Very responsive to any question. Beautiful old property with wonderful amenities. We were on the first floor which was nice since we only had to carry our luggage up one level, however, since we were on the first floor the street noise was a bit loud in the evenings — but the street does not have cars, so once the shops closed, it quieted down. We also arranged several tours through Istanbul Place — we enjoyed each one immensely. Excellent all around! Hope we can come visit again.

We loved staying here! Location was amazing, right next to the Galata Tower! so many restaurants and shops as soon as you walk out! Apartment was absolutely beautiful and spacious with a great modern kitchen! Would definitely come back!

We stayed 3 nights in this great apartment. Historic buildings, with charm and great area. Right by Galata Tower. Metro nearby, cool restaurant vis-a-vis (Pepos). Own hammam in the apartment and very charming furniture. Julia and Tarkan are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again.

My experience was absolutely amazing! Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city. Walking distance to attractions, shops, and restaurants. Host team have been very welcoming and accommodating. I really hope next time I’m visiting Istanbul, this property is available.

Amazing location. We have stayed multiple places during this trip, and this was hands down the best. Perfect combination of location (which really was amazing - whether you’re two single guys like us or have a family) and comfort.

What a great location. You are in the heart of the restaurants and shopping area. Salt Bae is 2 minutes away, the Tower is at your doorstep, and the neighbor is lively at night. The host was responsive and helpful. Everything was great.

We loved the Galada location, it helped us to become part of Galada, part of Turkey. It was great to walk to fun restaurants, market near by, music, fun atmosphere. Our apartment was very well stocked and comfortable. We hated to leave!

My 15 yr old son, 21 yr old niece, and me stayed at this property for three weeks to work/school remotely. The property was perfect for the three of us - clean and near the hip Pera neighborhood. All the major sights were across the Galata Bridge, about. 40 minute walk. Lots of great restaurants in the area. The taxi from the airport cannot take you right to the property. I was nervous about that, but luckily the manager met me where the taxi dropped me off. That was a huge relief. The apartment was clean and as pictured. The hosts provided a binder with lots of helpful information. The WIFI was adequate for our needs. The WiFi only really works right close to the router, so we did our work and school at the dining room table. The bedrooms were air conditioned which was awesome on hot days. The kitchen had all the basic tools needed. The terrace is at the top of the building is shared. Unfortunately we could not enjoy it - the few times we attempted to use the terrace, it was completely trashed with broken glass and garbage. Not at all the fault of the owner, but it seems there are careless/rude other occupants of the building who don’t care about others. We were disappointed we could not use the terrace. My only other suggestion would be to provide a map/instructions of the transit system. We were provided a transportation card but were never really able to figure out how to use it. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and with the high level of communication provided by our hosts and would recommend the property highly to other Istanbul travelers!
