Good location for the airport, but in dire need of a spruce up. Interior is very worn down. Worst thing about the hotel is how noisy it is. I got woken up often by doors slamming (a mix of inconsiderate people and poor door design) and elephants wandering round on the floor above. The single beds are also tiny. You feel like youre going to fall out all night. Wouldn't want to stay there more than a night.

No Internet in the room

The dining room and lounge area are smart and well kept. The breakfast was reasonable, but I can find nothing else positive to say about the hotel. I have never stayed in such a small room. Four hooks on the wall were the only place for clothes (no coat-hangers, no drawers). The threadbare carpet should have been changed years ago. The receptionist eventually checked-me in once she had finished her paper-work. I am amazed the hotel has not been closed down. To be avoided.

Last minute booking for going to the airport early doors and got a twin beds room as double were all booked up. After using twin room I would prefer the double room, I’ve stayed at this hotel before and I usually enjoy the hotel but beds were too soft for me this time and didn’t get a great sleep. I would still use the hotel as right next to the airport but not the twin room.

We stayed one night after a late flight, it served its purpose, check in easy enough. Very convenient for the airport. Its very dated but the bed was clean.

Good for overnight stay before early flight. Room was comfortable and quiet despite hotel being full. Short walk to airport.

Hotel definitely needs up dating. drinks are very reasonable and staff friendly

Best part of this hotel was how close it was to the airport. Be aware you have to pay for parking and when I arrived it was very full and I had to park all the way around the back of the hotel. Bed was clean and comfortable- great. Clean fluffy towels Bathroom was very tired; some mould on the walls too.

Friendly helpful staff , room furniture a bit tired , needs upgrading but at least my room was clean. I ate in the restaurant and had a bizarre addition of onion ( which were undercooked and a bit crunchy so I had to fish all the bits out) to bacon and mushroom carbonara. Only two pieces of mushroom but the sauce was very creamy. I did mention the undercooked onion and questioned why it was there as I have never come across this before and suggested if the chef insists on adding them to at least cook then thoroughly. Or list them as ingredients on the menu so there's not this surprise. Staff were very nice though.

Decent hotel next to airport. Stayed one night from 23:20 to morning 10:00 in room number 234. The major drawback was that the toilet had an inconsistent flush. It was hit or a miss.

Check in was slow though we were the only people checking in at 11pm. Our room hadn't been made up so we had to wait in the corridor while two staff did a fast and dirty clean up. Disappointing. Unlikely to return.

Overall excellent One suggestion offer an early morning call service and larger wine glasses wine for serving spritzers!

Very average. typical low budget airport hotel. In poor condition. But what do you expect for a night before a flight stay.

Clean, quiet, comfortable airport hotel. Ideally situated on airport site just a two minute walk across carpark to terminal via walkway making it ideal for an early flight without the hassle of having to wait for shuttle bus or taxi.

Comfortable enough for a night pre early flight. Some of the furnishings are a bit tired and dated but clean.

Beds were uncomfortable, mattress far too firm. Furniture in the room not suitable for the room size. However close to the airport and metro station and quiet enough, with good blackout curtains. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Extremely dated and basic - however convenient for the airport and cheap.

Property is very dated. Room was ok. Bed was comfy. Furniture scratched and very old. Bathroom functional. I did have issues however with the cleanliness. Hairs were fund in the bed. The bathroom needed a plug for the sink. It was ok for the price played.

One night before early flight ticked all the boxes

Would happily stay again, decor is outdated but it was very clean and had everything I needed, couldn’t fault it. Quick check in and check out.

Picking up family members from an early Monday morning flight from overseas - we decided to stay the Fri/Sat/Sun night enabling us to sleep prior to picking up our relatives and take to Carlisle - I was refreshed for our drive between 3-5am We were able to visit local sites over he two days

Great location for my flight from Newcastle. Staff were good.Room was clean. Good value

Only one disappointment was being advised that the "early morning wake up call" was no longer available. It used to be so reassuring on previous visits knowing that this service was available and always used by me.

Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't seem to have been redecorated since it was built. It is old fashioned with tired decor. Our room felt dingy and unclean, and on closer inspection, it was unclean. The bathroom floor had hair on it, and under the bed, there was a hat and a hairband, so that obviously hadn't been properly cleaned. The bathroom door was grubby where lots of people had touched it. Because the decor is so dated it just feels unclean to the point where we didn't really want to touch anything and we didn't take our shoes off when walking around. It made me doubt how clean the bedding and towels were. We stayed the night before an early flight and it was a really disappointing start to our holiday. It was the same price as the Premier Inn, but even if it was a lot cheaper, we wouldn't stay again. On the plus side, the check in staff were lovely and friendly.

Stayed there after landing around 1am and stayed for breakfast before traveling home.
