The staff were all very friendly and informative. The hotel is nice and big. The room is also spacious and beds were comfy. Having a kitchenette and extra couch/bed was convenient. The pool looked nice but we didn’t have time to use it. Breakfast was really good, with lots of selection and two different areas to choose from and plenty of room to sit. My only complaint is the overall cleanliness of the room…couch was stained, headboards were also, and tables/surfaces didn’t look clean. It was good for a one night stay traveling through.

The suites were great. Nice and roomy with the kitchenette. The common space was great. We stay up pretty late with a group of people in the lounge. It was welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was ok but the tables and eating space were comfortable and spacious. The patio in the back was a bonus for the children to play basketball. Close to the mall was an added bonus.

Our stay was last minute during a snow storm so the hotel was at full capacity. The room was not clean. Stains on the couch , chairs and comforters. The handles on the microwave and refrigerator were dirty. The toilet rocked and the seat was crooked. There was a very unpleasant smell to the room as well.
We have always enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites in different areas as well as the Crossgates one but never again. It was a nice room so it wasn’t cheap but the condition of the room was just not exceptable.

The handles on the microwave and refrigerator were dirty. The toilet rocked and the seat was crooked. There was a very unpleasant smell to the room as well.
We have always enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites in different areas as well as the Crossgates one but never again. It was a nice room so it wasn’t cheap but the condition of the room was just not exceptable.

Breakfast was yummy with choice of two spaces to eat. Only two issues: DirecTV was apparently working on something two of our nights there and the tv kept loosing its "source" but would come back up again after a few tries. The other issue was that the pool was COLD - felt unheated! Too cold to go swimming in which was unfortunate as the pool was one reason we had booked the hotel. Would stay there again, however.

Check in was easy and the staff was greatI got a 2 queen suite that was nice and spacious. My kids like it a lot. The bedding was terrible. The top bla ket was a duvet and the pillows squished down to nothing. The room smelled musty though i left the ceiling fan on all day, even while we were away. The pool was hazy and walls were dingy looking. Breakfast was pretty bad, too. Im pretty sure the eggs werent made of eggs and the sausage patty was the worst that ive ever had. It would be better to have offered nothing.
