My husband and I stayed at the property for 7 nights, and absolutely loved every minute of it. The free continental breakfast beat our expectations. The property was extremely well kept, and beautifully landscaped. Amazing views from the top floors, which were public spaces. This really was cool as we were able to spend time lounging and swimming in privacy most days. A lovely boutique hotel. The room was perfect; very clean, with small kitchenette, comfortable beds, all linens provided, daily housekeeping when requested, and our own private patio with hammock, table/chairs was fantastic. We loved the availability of drinking water as you can never have enough and we were able to replenish our supply throughout each day. The manager Emelio and Gabby at the front desk were amazing, and helped us with bookings and provided valuable information about the island. Without those two our stay would have been much different, and we most likely would not have experienced as much as we did. The breakfast staff and cleaning staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The beach club was a 2 min walk from the resort, and the food, drinks, and ambiance was perfect. There were a few other restaurants and a small market about 1 minute away. We had some of our best meals at La Cabina. The most delicious pizza and margaritas. We will be returning, and we highly recommend this resort. There was nothing we did not like about our stay, it was one of our best trips ever!

Beautiful surroundings and view. The room was suitable for the whole family and we could all enjoy the poo, beach and hammocks. We went kayaking one morning in kayaks from the hotel.

The check in was great. Both ladies were very helpful. They helped me book transportation back to cancun. They were always friendly and ready to assist. The rooms were decent accommodations and love the space and proximity to the beach. We spent one day in Carolinda and enjoyed it. Breakfast was good and only wished it was served earlier then 830 so I could take advantage before leaving property. We only used the pool once to cool off and it was good. I would definitely recommend for the price and location. Plus the front desk ladies were superb. I would definitely use this resort if I go back to Holbox.

We had such a great time! The breakfast was good, the staff was awesome, and the property was beautiful. The only tip I would give anyone is that you are billed for the eggs ( don’t pay at breakfast, you are billed for them on your room charge. Oh well, at least the super sweet servers got good tips on those days!) Thank you so much and I hope we are back soon!

Pros: Beautiful pool and grounds. Nice breakfast. When our taxi did not arrive on time on our last day, the staff helped secure one. Cons: Room (double, garden view) was in need of both cleaning and updating. There was black mold on the wall and ceiling above the showerhead and in other places as well. We chose a room with a kitchenette so we could make coffee early in the morning, but there was no coffee maker. I purchased instant coffee to make, but the stove ended up not working at all. One bed had a reading light next to it, but the other did not. The rooftop pool was closed for the entirety of our stay and the beach club was closed on Monday. Disappointing.

The grounds and customer service were good as far as we experienced, but we didn’t really stay around the hotel grounds throughout the day as the island is stunning. The room and beds are confortable. Breakfast is good but a bit light. We had a welcome drink at the bar located near the beach. Unfortunately, The swimming pool was so cold because they changed the water when we arrived.

This hotel is surrounded by and built on marshland and has a lot of mosquitos all over the place. Upon arrival the reception did not give out the room I booked so be alert and don't be fooled to get a cheaper room you once payed for. The little breakfast area was quite nice with polite staff even if the breakfast itself was poor. Even the small pool area was pretty nice but not the swimming pool which wasn't cleaned. The best part of the visit was the beach club with sunbeds close to the waters and a nice little restaurant with tasty tacos with very accommodating personnel. When I come back to Holbox I rather stay in another hotel.
