The staff and the hotel was nice but I wish attention to detail was better. The hotel does have a pool so I was not surprised when there was a musty smell when we opened the door to our room.
The room only has one set of blanket and one pillow for the sofa bed.
There was hair left in the bathroom by the shampoo and conditioner and the worst was localized brown stain by the toilet paper dispenser. I would have expected better especially at $200 a night

It is 2 hotels that share a check in desk, we went to the desk and tried to check in early, the gentleman said to come back in 15 minutes and our room will be ready. We went back in 20-30 minutes and he told us our reservation had been canceled. We were extremely worried wondering what happened and where we would stay. It was the same gentleman we spoke with about checking in early and he acted like he had no idea who we were even when I reminded him we just spoke. Finally a coworker came and helped him. Apparently they have 2 different systems for the 2 different hotels and he looked us up in the wrong system the second time we spoke with him. I don’t know if it was just him or they need a better process checking people in to the 2 hotels. Just be aware.

The room was very spacious and clean! Staff were friendly and helpful. You can walk to the mall in 10 minutes via a pedestrian bridge, which is very convenient if you don’t have a car.

I was traveling through Minneapolis on my way to Amsterdam when bad weather caused flight delays.
Searching for hotels for the night I came across the park plaza.
Right across the street from Mall of America, a decent location that has plenty of opportunities for food if you need a bite to eat before bed.
The breakfast was just what I needed.
I got in very late, the normal check out time is noon, but they kindly let me stay later with no extra charges!
The room was clean and appeared to be well kept.
The carpets in the hallways were starting to show their age, but you don't stay in the hallway.
ALL staff interactions were pleasant AND helpful!!

Stayed here for the proximity to the light rail access to downtown and the Mall. Enjoyed our stay, but did not have enough time to use the pool or other amenities. The was not cleaned or serviced during our three day stay. You probably have to request that.

We had a separate king bedroom on one side with a seating area with a sofa bed for the kids on the other side. That was the only thing good about it, the separate areas. Pool wasn’t the greatest. Breakfast buffet that was included was ok. Would not recommend.

Great place to stay for both the airport and mall of america. Staff are friendly, breakfast was good, a 24hr IHOP and TGIF outside the hotel and MoA is a 3 min walk. Would stay again.
