Right from check in had absolutely beautiful experience. The room was clean, of course the view I could enjoy early in the morning. Had late dinner, absolutely fantastic food, portions are big and the taste is good. The waiter was very courteous and helped in selecting food too. The breakfast spread is huge, tasty food. Will travel again and stay with Hotel Santika Garut. Will use their hot water swimming pool next time.

The room had a continuous buzzing sound, thought it was from the refrigerator or AC, checked both, however seemed it was from bathroom exhaust, couldn't trace it so the sleep was disturbing. I have complained to the reception while checking out and they promised to take action.

We loved the view of the mountains and rice paddies from our room on the first floor — and it was great that the windows/door to the balcony were soundproofed as well. The delicious breakfast buffet had a lot of variety when it came to Indonesian cuisine, including a rotating selection of Garut specialties like bakso aci. Beds were very comfy with big cloud-like pillows. Expect service with a smile — the hotel staff were always friendly and welcoming. Location-wise, Hotel Santika Garut is a short drive outside of the main town; several excellent Sundanese restaurants are within walking distance too.

The bedsheets were a little stained and the shower area could do with a curtain (water didn't leak out into the rest of the bathroom but it did completely soak the bath mat — we avoided this on the subsequent nights by pushing it a bit farther away). There weren't any hand towels either but that wasn't a major issue. Otherwise the general cleanliness of the room was very much up to standard.

Warm water of pool. Landscape are nice and wonderful. Asian and western meal friendly.

Great breakfast, nice breakfast area at semi open air. They divide the breakfast time in two batches, so there is no crowd.

Bed sheets have stain. But when I asked for replacement, the person on duty (name Abio) replace with the new ones immediately.
