Beautiful lay out of the hotel in a botanical garden

My room 261 was in need of renovation and the matras on the bed was like a slab of cement. Extremely hard and I woke up with a sore back...

When my family and I arrived we asked the staff to help put my mom's birthday cake in the fridge immediately. We checked in, were told to go have lunch and they would bring the keys there when they were done arranging the rooms. After 2 hours we went back since no one came to bring the keys and noticed they left the cake standing there outside for over 2 hours. They mentioned about renovated and non-renovated rooms but said the renovated rooms would cost another IDR 600.000 per room per night. We wanted to see the non-renovated rooms first and it was a total shock. Those rooms should never be rented out and especially not for that rate. In my parents room the balcony door could not open and when you push with your foot the door opens up from the bottom (meaning if you could actually open the door, it would completely fall out), there was fungus in the bathroom, the AC could not be adjusted and the air in the room smelled like dust and mold. We eventually chose to unwillingly upgrade to the renovated rooms and thanks to a nice gentlemen called Pak Imanuel we got 2 upgraded rooms for free. The breakfast buffet was extremely dissapointing and my daughter and I got stomach problems afterwards. The "kids club" is not what you see in the pictures, it's a small room with some mattresses and baby toys. The pool and gym were under renovation which we were told 3 days before arrival, they offered free vouchers for the outbound activities which we realized were open and free for everyone. And to top it of, there were 2 events at the same time with loud music and karaoke until well after 10PM. Safe to say we would not be coming back.

The room was clean, comfortable, cozy. The garden around the hotel is so green and beautiful. Service was excellent

There was a construction during the stay so the swimming pool and gym was not accessible.

Maybe the zoo, i hate zoos so... the rabbits needs more care by a vet

Missing essential in the room, no teaspoons although cups n saucers were provided. No hand towels.
