When we arrived it took 15 mins to get someone to come & let us in.. we called and called them I finally sent a message through the app and someone called to say the duty manager would be down shortly. We waited another ten minutes for her to come. When we went to pay the eft facility wasn’t working properly so we couldn’t tap our card which we have done the whole way through our holiday. We were then told there was an atm machine around the corner. We had to withdraw $500 for a ‘bond’ and $175 (for which I’m not sure as the room was listed as $143). Were from Australia therefore lost almost $100 when Changing our money back to AUD! To say we aren’t happy is an understatement… regards Jacqui Casey

The room was nicely set out, had a great view of the park and was in a good location. The person at reception was friendly and communication leading up to our stay was excellent.

The room service was poor. We were expecting it to be reduced due to limited staff over the Christmas, but the first day it was non-existent. The following day I went to reception to ask for replacement towels and toilet paper and was told room service had begun. When I returned later that evening, the towels had been replaced but there was no toilet paper so I had to borrow from family who were staying in another apartment in the complex (and had experienced a similar lack of service earlier that week).

The location

Loved the location. So much to do in the area, all walking distance. Lovely staff who are very hospitable. Easy late check-in. Loved both apartment rooms. Warm and clean.

Just abit untidy on the balcony of room 111 but very happy with two ranch slider doors that opened up onto it.

Location was perfect - 2 minute walk to the supermarket, restaurants, bars and cafes. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room itself was very comfortable and modern.

The only minor thing I did not like about my stay was having just the single vanity mirror. Could do with a second full length.

Couldnt drop the key back off and now I need to send the key back as I check out at 7.30am

Location is really good.

We were beside a courtyard which meant the room didnt feel very safe. The room seemed run down (it was cleaned to the best of its ability), and smelt like a bit of smoke, maybe that comes in from people smoking outside the other rooms.

Comfortable and convenient to shops

Traffic along Ponsonby Road a bit noisy for a little bit but okay during the night

Location was good
