Lovely place and very helpful staff. Just by the beach and close to lots of great restaurants and just around the corner from Playa del Amor. Natural decor and lovely hammocks.

I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since they had a hurricane a few weeks before we got there that damaged their rooms on the upper floor, but the room we had on the bottom floor was really unacceptable lodging from our perspective. (And we couldn't get any internet at all.) It felt sort of like a dungeon, and it was set up very strangely where you had to go outside your door to get to the bathroom. We were plagued by mosquitos and had ants in our bed. Looks like nothing was updated for years. We always try to book places that are rated over 9.0 or higher, so I was trying to figure out how this place got a high rating, and I think it's because the Owner is extremely friendly and takes a lot of time to explain everything and make recommendations in the area. But I have to be honest that this was the worst place we stayed in years (and we travel over 50% of the time.) Perhaps the upstairs rooms are a lot nicer, but I would recommend you avoid the room on the downstairs right side (when you walk in).

The atmosphere and the location was great. I really liked how it has been designed with the top rooms having a real house in the tree feeling. The hostess was really nice and helpful. The beach is few steps away.

The room tends to get really hot.

Corinna was an excellent host, very interested in making your stay as comfortable as possible. My room was great, lots of ventilation, the bed had a mosquito net, the terrace was super confortable to hang out in, with hammocks and chairs, the animals (several cats and dogs) roaming the hotel were super cute and friendly. The location was perfect for me, only a few meters from the beach, in a quiet zone. There's great restaurants nearby (I recommend Caracol Surf).

I would have loved to stay more days. The lightning of the room was better on one side, I would consider adding another lamp on the far end.

Amazing host helping you with everything. I had a great time in this tranquil oasis and would definitely stay again!

Very confusing about the payment methods. Accepts only bank transfers, which wasn't possible for me at the time- I had to be a bit pushy to at least be able to pay via paypal. It would be great if that gets adjusted for customers' comfort to simply be able to pay through booking.com. This is mainly to inform future guests to be prepared, as for me the whole process caught me lightly off guard.

The owner is a very nice lady, she was very very helpful and kind. The tower room has a nice view and felt quite fresh. Great high speed internet relative to the area.

Bathroom door doesn't close, chairs to sit on a bit uncomforatble, but that is probably not an issue for people who don't need this, e.g. go to the beach all day. There was also not much sound isolation / privacy due to the open plan.

The place is so beautiful, magical and big. Good Wifi connection and Corina is so nice and good person she helped us alot and make us feel like home.

A a really lovely experience, my room was a great size and I loved the feeling as if in an actual treehouse - but still second from the beach and not in the actual jungle. there were a couple of friendly dogs and a cat as well, which was nice!

Nothing bad to say at all, however if you are looking for more hotel-like facilities/amenities then it might not be the right place to stay.

Such a beautiful oasis! Corinna is an amazing host who genuinely cares for her guests. We stayed for one night but could easily stayed longer! The location is perfect just a few steps from the beach on playa Amor. It is quiet and away from the party side of town which was really nice.

Very nice and spacious Oaxaca style bungalow. Nice Private terrace with hamac to chill. Very close to playa de l'Amor, and some restaurants. Staff is amazing and the host Corinna is beyond great, she goes over the top to make sure we have a nice stay.

15 - 20 min walk from the city centre (main street). We could ear a few dogs barking at night (like anywhere in Mexico) but with earplugs its fine...
