I liked the location close to public transport, the room came with a fan which was perfect for this hot weather, overall it was brill for the price
Special shout out to one of the people that was cleaning on the weekend of Saturday 17th, a gentleman, he was so friendly and couldn’t help us more! Credit to your team!
Room would have been with a window especially due to how hot the weather was.
The lift is awfully slow

The receptionist was lovely. Although a bit weird to be asked for 2 photo proof of ID - I do not have any photo ID so she accepted 2 credit cards in the same name - given I had booked it just 30 mins before. The place was clean and bright with plants around to stop the white walls looking stark.
The room was a good size but the train track was right outside and no net curtain or blinds at the windows so either had to close the dark curtains of flash those outside when dressing or after a shower ! Bathroom V nice and big shower with personalised shampoo and body and hand wash. Good towels and good cotton duvet cover. seemed to have a few people staying (encountered in the lift - but the room was quiet - no sound of others TVs or talking through the walls which can happen in some places.
The air con was broken and lights just flashing - they must have been aware as there was a cheap but effective fan in the room. Wasn't told this when checking in which would have been nice. especially given the hot spell when I stayed. The TV was stuck with subtitles and no way to remove ( I tried over and over with the remote)
The bed ! ----- the bottom sheet was just laid over the mattress not tucked in so when sat on the bed it moved and the mattress could be seen. just lazy housekeeping.... The mattress was clean enough - a few minor stains but nothing too upset.... BUT there was no mattress cover - which meant that the top of the mattress was covered in bobbles where it had rubbed against the sheet and obviously humans in bed moving around. The these bobbles meant it was like sleeping in a bed of toast crumbs - I ended up putting a towel over the top of the sheet and sleeping on that. The bed also seemed to slope toward the head board which I didn't like so slept upside down - with my head at the foot of the bed and yes on the towel which was softer than the zillions of bobbles under the thin sheet.
The noise of the trains did not bother me too much but it might others.
There is no carpet so you have to take care coming out of the bathroom after a shower not to slip on the resin floor. There is a bath mat - so that helped, but other should take care as I did slip.
Also high up dusting should be down at least weekly

Bom espaço no quarto e mobília nova.
Ar condicionado não gelava.
3.8
comfy bed, central location, good value for money
bit noisy being right next to the train tracks but they did give me earplugs which did help drown out the noise.

Super Familienzimmer mit Stockbetten. Lage direkt an der Overground, super praktisch.
Es war ruhig und sauber, Frühstücksmöglichkeiten, Bars und Pubs gibt es in der Nähe.

The location was great, the room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable

This is the second time I have stayed here when I arrive from overseas. The location to public transport, restaurants other fun areas is excellent.
Price point reasonable for London.
Room was small with shared bathroom, I never saw anyone else use it, everything was clean and it is what I booked.
It just felt tired. My pillow was paper thin and I had to ask for a second one. Toilet brush was disgusting, it sounds petty but we all have to occasionally use it and seriously they don't cost alot to replace. Look to the details Kip.
I had booked a third a third stay but cancelled as there are lots of other choices.

The room was compact but had everything I needed for a one-night stay. The shower room was good. Aircon was present and worked well enough, although the room was on the warm side at allegedly 18DegC.
I went to see The Pogues 40th Anniversary gig for Red Roses for me at the Hackney Empire and then on to the MOTH Club for the aftershow party. One of the best nights of my life, and the hotel was very handy for both venues and the train station.
Reception could have been a bit friendlier, but were OK. While I had a double bed, it was just me, but I'm tall, so slept an an angle. Not an issue for me, but would have been for a couple. Trains kept me awake on and off throughout the night, as while I was on the 3rd floor, I was overlooking the station. Windows weren't particularly sound-proofed, so I was woken up a few times.

The colour scheme
The bed was quite hard

Great for short stay, compact small single room was fine if you’re not planning to be in the hotel a lot. Free coffee!
Space under the bed to put all your stuff so can have it cleared up. Its next to overground and bus stops so super easy to get anywhere. Bathroom shared but no problem. Everyone wants it to stay clean I suppose. I requested a kettle from reception which was nice to have for my stay (although would be nice if there were mugs rather than paper cups - also sustainability question and more enjoyable).
Bathroom shower drain a bit clogged could be improved. Would also be nice if the shared bathroom was cleaned maybe twice (shortly) just cause there’s many using it. But it wasn’t dirty really.
3.8
Very clean, slick and safe.
Had a weird experience with the receptionist. I got locked out of my room and was waiting for it to be fixed and she just left me sitting there and didn't tell me it was ready
3.8
Good location. Next door to the overground station. Lovely staff members!
A lobby or place to hang out would be good as there’s only the reception.
3.8
A great location, better quality than the budget implies.
This time my small room had a window but that actually made it noisier (facing on to the railway) and maybe warmer. The air con was much less effective in the room compared to the landings. No ear plugs included any more (although I didn't need new ones).
3.8
clean and comfortable
3.8
it was cheap and quiet at night
they advertise aircon but please be assured there is no air con it is a blower at best so very uncomfortably hot!
our second room wasn’t ready at 3pm check in time, told to come back in an hour which we did and it still wasn’t ready! in the end we had to demand another room as we had commitments which meant we needed to gain access to our room so we could get ready to leave.
the blinds shine the daylight right through even with the curtains and the set up is very basic. it is cheap but we still paid over £150 for a room so not the best, no tea or coffee making facilities either

Good Location
The walls were paper thin, Could hear a couple of lads talk all night so I hardily slept, even with shouting through the wall at them. I know not the hotel fault but put me off coming again.
3.8
it is a very modern hotel, very spacious room and full of amenities, mostly clean.
I didn’t like that there were no stairs to go up and down, you had to get into one central lift that takes you throughout the whole hotel which everyone else has to use including arriving, departing, cleaning staff, so you do find yourself waiting around for a while to get in and out. I also found that there were a lot of crumbs and dirt everywhere in the kitchen area, I do understand that cleaners have a quick turnaround time but maybe some more attention to detail around that would be good.
3.8
Very good location- right next to Tube station and car park for tube station. Room was adequate. Good shower.
Staff not very guest focussed and could benefit from training e.g. my question -"where is there car parking?"- answer- " I don't know,I don't drive!" (car park is actually right outside the hotel- but I had to find that myself!- as we came to the hotel from a different direction and stopped in a side street to offload luggage as we were in a rush to get to an important meeting. It took a lot of valuable time that we didn't have.Hey- I know it's a budget hotel and staff probably on minimum wage but it's not very welcoming and we had been driving for 6 hours!

Getting home
Room exceptionally small, couldn't get moved as hotel was full..
My daughter was on the floor above us, even though I asked for her to be near us. The cost of two rooms for 4 nights ( as I said VERY. small rooms) was £1100.. No food included, and my daughter had to share a bathroom with 2 other rooms .
Would never stay again.
3.8
Nice self contained room, i got a window upon request, friendly staff, free coffee in the morning.
Untidy room (previous customer had smashed a weird bug on the wall which hadn't even been cleaned), mouldy window
3.8
Very clean room and toilet facilities. Very stylish design. Staff very friendly. Room was small but had everything I needed. Price is great!
Only one pillow. They had recently repainted all the gloss paint so there were some pretty strong fumes. Location wasn't the best to get to central London.
3.8
Basic but nice comfortable and clean and great location as it was close to transport links. Free coffee!
a little noisy at night

Great room and central location. Busy street next door, kept the window open for ventilation, our closed you could hardly hear anything though
3.8
Property was secure and very modern. Room was clean.
Room was quite cold and the heater was making a lot of noise. Only one lift so bit of a queue when checking out.
3.8
The staff were very helpful and the location was great, 2 minutes to the over land train.
I had a room with no windows and it was like a sweat box, no ventilation at all. Friends had a room with windows and said there room was fine. Make sure if you book ask for a room with windows
3.8
Clean, comfortable. All I needed for a great stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept really well. excellent location for transport being so near Hackney Central.
I’d have liked coffee in my room - but the free coffee in reception was delicious!
3.8
Conveniently placed for central Hackney and stations.
No fresh towels for 2 night stay.
Free coffee offered however the machine was out of order.
