The staff were lovely
Room wasn’t very clean, but the bathroom was. Not put in the room booked on the first floor and stairs were steep and not a banister all the way up

10 minute walk from Chester station.
Comfortable room with cozy bed, lovely decoration, and a spacious foyer over a pub. Despite the pub downstairs, I couldn’t hear any disruptive noise at all especially that they’ve restriction after 11pm.
Perfect place for those seeking affordable and no-frill accommodation without compromising comfort.
Might not suit those who are hyper sensitive to noise. Couldn’t see if there’s any access for folks with wheelchair.

Very peaceful despite being above a sports bar,very clean and good value for money. Friendly and efficient welcome from the staff.
We requested single beds which were provided, but they were noticeably narrower than a standard adult single and very creaky. The mattresses were comfortable though.

Good location within easy walking distance of everything. Straightforward check-in at the pub underneath and easy to check out by just dropping off keys in box on the stairs.
Not enough flat surfaces in room or bathroom to put things down (toiletries, etc). Only one side of the bed had a bedside table - the other side had a chair which did not have a flat seat to put a glass of water on.
No hooks or rail for towels in bathroom.
One very annoying and squeaky bedspring.
Only enough milk in the room for one cup of coffee each despite being booked in for 2 nights.

Very comfortable bed, walk in modern shower, very central location. Staff friendly and professional.

Beautiful rooms, extremely clean. New telly with lots of channels. Perfect location for a city break. Friendly helpful staff. Onsuite was a good size, the shower was hot and easy to use. The pub was also clean, friendly and great atmosphere.
No breakfast facilities, but is close to eateries. Possibly not great if you need an early dart.

Staff friendly on arrival and a very comfortable double bed.
Lots of mirrors in this quirky room but very very dark 17 mirrors but none with natural light for you to get yourself ready in so that was disappointing.

Room was lovely and clean, it was quiet despite being New Year's Eve in a city. The bathroom was lovely and clean. The location is excellent, only a 10 min walk (if that) from the train station and only 5 min walk into the centre of Chester and the main bars and shops.

Extremely overpriced and very basic!
No WiFi for 45 minutes so booked another hotel just down the road. Wasn't worried about paying out twice as I couldn't wait to get out of there, 45 minutes was long enough for me!
I don't understand how this place can charge more than a 4 star hotel not far from there.

Jaw dropping decor! Interior decorater should surely have won some award for this! Room was warm and comfy and the staff and pub clients friendly and helpful.Right in the heart of this gorgeous city.
Noise from pub might be troublesome on weekends but jjust go and join them!
