Good location in the middle of town, cheap and very comfy beds, quiet room. Perfect for a quick stop before or after travels.

It's not a hostel, it's a hotel. There's no kitchen, no fridge for your stuff, nothing that a hostel usually has.

I arrived at night. Some dude complained that I made noise (obviously arriving at night D'OH?). That dude checked out and the guy at the reception told me that "due to complaints he cannot extend my stay". Later on my way to another place they robbed me so you can imagine I am infuriated by their organizational issues.

I stayed 2 nights.in the second day i came back to the hotel and a bag (not a plastic bag!) with my shoes and new flip flops and also packed food was missing.i asked the receptionist and he said he will contact the lady that clean the room.after that talked with him some times and no news.next day in the morning i saw the lady that was cleaning the room and asked her where was the bag with my stuff.she said she thought it was trash but the bag was in the room next door...my bagpack was closed in a locker at least.so,if you don't want to be robed, don't stay here

It has a 24hr reception which is nice if you have a late flight. It's located right in the city center, so good location. Breakfast was alright. Staff was pretty friendly.

Both bathrooms were pretty filthy. The bathroom in the main area didn't flush properly, so there was poop floating in the toilet... kinda gross.

The hostel arranged a taxi service to the airport, the driver tried to pull a fast one on exchange rates. I caught him at it and he made it almost right, but sleazy.

Young man at desk was very nice & helpful - always with a smile!

The elevator was closed down overnite till 8 am. The 3rd floor is where dorms are so it was difficult for some to get up/down stairs.

The locaiton is fantastic where sits nearby anyplace such as bus station, supermarket and restaurants.

Unfortunately the breakfast menu was limited and we could not enjoy especially fruits as possible although the hotel sits in a tropical place.

The view from the balcony is spectacular !

the breakfast was big difference from what the staff said, I was in a hurry so didn’t ask the reason.

The people in reception are nice and helped me arrange transfers when I needed, gave me direction and welcomed me with a smile, breakfast was good and location is also very good.

I could hear noice from the street all night, but I guess that is the price to pay for staying in this location. The rooms are clean but a bit run down.

located in the heart of San José, near everything you need and room is very clean cozy, receptionists were super kind. I loved it!
