Excellent oasis in busy Hanoi

Great location in Ha noisy near Beer corner it’s not a quiet spot but everything on your door step. Staff very friendly and helpful. Roof bar was beautiful breakfast was also good. Organised a great two day trip to Ninh Binh through hotel

We had a suite with a small balcony that wasn’t much bigger than the window less room we had before but both were fine for central property

The staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean and I liked all the amenities it had to offer with great location too.

The bed wasn’t that comfortable

Loved the location of the hotel in the old quarter. Kim was fantastic, sorted our transfers and trips - street food walking tour finishes on train street and Ninh Binh. Friendly staff, amazing breakfast.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au Rex Hanoi Hotel, le personnel est très accueillant et toujours prêt à nous aider, un remerciement particulier pour Ms Kim qui s'est bien occupé de nous avant et pendant notre séjour ! Les lits sont très confortables, la nourriture du restaurant et du petit déjeuner excellente, très belle vue du roof top avec le bar, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bien situé. Merci encore à toute l'équipe du Rex Hanoi Hotel !

Extremely friendly and courteous staff, especially Ms. Kim who helped us with local recommendations and tour bookings. The hotel is in an excellent location in Old Quarter with good restaurants and markets nearby. Hoàn Kiêm lake is just a short walk away and an added bonus is the weekend night market which pops up very close to the property.

Wasserdruck war etwas niedrig und es hat mehrere Minuten gedauert bis das Wasser warm wurde unter der Dusche.

Tres bien placé. Personnel très sympathique et arrangeant. Jenny nous a organisé la croisière dans la baie d’Halong et a très bien géré tous les changements que je lui ai demandés ! Certains équipements de l’hôtel mériteraient un renouvellement.

Attention certaines chambres n’ont pas de fenêtre.

It is a very clean and well appointed hotel in the heart of the old quarter but surprisingly not noisy despite the location. The room was very large and comfortable and super clean and full of all amenities. The rooftop bar and pool are wonderful. Very helpful and friendly staff.

I wish the gym could have had a bit more equipment

位置非常便利，去很多景点步行可达，晚上在酒店附近随便逛逛也很舒服。早餐好吃，尤其是有一种烤肉至今难忘。工作人员普遍很热情，前台Rose小姐姐会汉语，为我的出行提供了很多帮助。

Das erste Foto täuscht ehrlich gesagt gemein, da es die Dachterasse auch vom Nachbarhotel zeigt - das Rex Hotel hat keine bewirtschaftete Dachterasse, und das ist schon enttäuschend, wenn man dann einen Blick auf die tolle Dachterasse des Nachbarhotels hat. Den Pool kann man vergessen, aber das war schon vorher ersichtlich. Was wir dann aber doch sehr ärgerlich fanden war, daß ich ein kleines Handtuch bezahlen sollte (wurde mir dann erlassen) da meine Haarfarbe leider abgefärbt hatte … soetwas habe ich noch nirgends erlebt und der Abschied war von ärgerlichen Gefühlen geprägt. Das Management sollte wirklich mal nachdenken: mit irreführenden Fotos werben aber mir dann ein Mini Handtuch in Rechnung stellen … abgesehen davon sind einige Räume Baustelle und es gibt teilweise Baulärm. bohren hämmern … sehr stressig wenn man gerade 12 h Flug hinter sich hat

The communication following booking was excellent, with options for tours provided prior to arrival. It is very central to everything in the Old Quarter and the staff were very pleasant. I required a Grab when the streets were closed at the weekend. Carl from Reception walked me to a convenient place, conversed with the driver and waited with me until the car arrived. Great service.

To eat buffet breakfast, the dining room could be larger. You have to pass the indoor swimming pool to access the dining room, so an early morning swim is difficult.

The hotel is central to everything in the Old Quarter. - lake, water puppets, food, Beer Street, night market. The breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly.

My shower was over a very high bath. Very difficult to get in and out. Hard to string a washing line.

The location is perfect for stay and Ms Kim really good helped a lot for the stay and suggesting good places near by Really recommend the property for someone who wants to be in the centre of the city

too short stay

Lo mejor de todo fue la amabilidad de todo el personal tanto en recepción como en el restaurante en los desayunos. Mención especial a Kim y Rose de recepción que hicieron todo lo posible por hacer más agradable mi estancia. El desayuno es fantástico tanto en calidad como en variedad y presentación.

Elegí este hotel principalmente porque tenía piscina interior. Desgraciadamente la piscina es inutilizable porque no está climatizada. No vi en ningún momento a ningún cliente en la piscina porque el agua debía estar helada. Por favor, piensen en algún sistema para calentar el agua, si no lo hacen , es imposible utilizarla en invierno.

Great value Accommodation in the heart of Hanoi's old city. Bright recepion, friendly welcome ad the breakfast was 5 star. Room was quiet, clean & well equipped.

So popular I couldn't book two nights in a row.
