Nice for a one night stay on the go

Too close to the road and hence too noisy at night. The restaurant closes at 19:00.

Super friendly staff, one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in all Costa Rica! The cabin was very cozy. It did get a little cold during the night but the heater and a couple of blankets sere sufficient. Ideal place to stay if you’re arriving in the afternoon/evening and planning a morning trip to Irazu.

The road next to the hotel was loud so it might be annoying to people who require absolute silence at night.

Grandpas hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is great if you are planning visiting Volcan Irazú. The facilities are beautiful, the cabins are very comfortable and clean. The best of the hotel is the people. All the employees from the front desk to the restaurant are very warm, and nice. Always prompt to give you the best service. We were very pleased during our stay. Thank you to Axel, Edgar, María José, Emily, Pablo and all of the employees who made our stay, wonderful!

The street near the hotel is a bit noisy.

- Large & spacious cabin - Quiet environment - Room was very clean and the bed confortable - Wifi is good and has a good coverage - Restaurant food was good - Safe free parking lot I would recommend this place if you wish to explore and visit Irazu Area. Very good overall Price/Service

- The little extra portative heater was broken & would have been appreciated during the cold of the night

Wooden bungalows in a beautiful garden, mountain view.

Very noisy from the nearby street, hard to sleep well.

It's a great place, very well located, food amazing, excellent customer service, and the bungalows are really awesome!!

There's no streaming device so you can only watch local tv. Could be a good idea to have live music and a fire pits in the garden for the summer nights.
