Swimming pool and the layout of the building. The location was great for everywhere in Auckland.

The lack of opening windows in the bedroom. The windows were getting old. They didn't give us any milk. The staff left the desk unattended for a lot longer than the ten minutes that they promised. They have no pictures at all hanging on any of the walls.

Good location close to city and other locations we were visiting

Parking a little tight as the motel was full up. That obviously means it is popular.

Given a ground level unit and parking lot is just right in front. There is a small swimming pool nearby for use. There is a kitchenette in the unit. Staff is nice.

Parking was rubbish. Too cramped. Room was in dire need of a lick of paint and an upgrade. Fridge was rusty. The room was generally underwhelming.

Didn't have breakfast, Beds comfortable an loved the electric blanket as it was so cold. Cleaners do a wonderful job are very helpful, friendly. Female Manager didn't have a welcoming tone, or look, instead she rattled of the don't, said my teenage son smelled alcohol, when is Adhs and we had come straight from international airport. Won't stay there again and certainly won't promote that. Toilet was broken, kettle leaked and wouldn't pass a safety cert. 🤔🤨

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It was close to the train station to Eden Park (we were there for the Fifa World Cup) and the City Center. Our room was clean and perfect for what we needed. And thanks for the bed warmers. Suggestion for the owner to take the old picture frame from above the bed and get some nice black and white prints of the city or local culture to elevate the room. Great stay.

I was pleased with the room. It had a well equipped little kitchenette so we could prepare breakfast (or other meals & save $$) It was very close to a main Rd with lots of different eating options. It was close to a railway station but we never heard any trains. There was a small laundry with a washer & dryer ($3 per load)

I didn’t like the staircase up to our room. We were there in winter so the steps were wet. On site car parking was rather snug. It was a matter of first in got the best spot so you weren’t necessarily able to get a park near your room.

The room smelt. Dehumidifier running when we got there. Pillows were damp. Had to put under electric blanket to dry them out. Seriously requires a do over. Carpets and furniture stained. One oil heater and one small electric fan heater that was Seriously dangerous. Didn't go until you bumped the dial and zapped with poor connection. Lovely staff, but the place needs a Serious do over. It was like stepping into 1983. Location was close to where I needed to go but unfortunately I would not stay there again. Did not find it to be value for money. Sorry for the poor feedback, but is honest.

The welcoming smell in the room which was a bad fish smell that never left, it felt old 🤢. My wife found a hairball in the main bedroom next to the bed which disgusted us,if the room was cleaned it just didn't feel like it was.It was a cold evening so we wanted to use the spare blankets from the cupboard for the kids in the other but the blankets did not seem washed from the previous person/people using it we could actually smell them. That made us even more uncomfortable and all we wanted was a good night's rest as we just passing by .In the morning I noticed mould in the shower which is a health risk and my car was bumped by a truck that struggled to get out the parking,I went to reception to complain when I gave my key in and all she could do is give me the phone number and Rego,what am I supposed to do with that? I understand that this is a motel but I do feel hygiene should atleast be the biggest priority. I don't think I would recommend the place to anyone or even come back..I am sorry to say this but we did have a horrible experience.

Beds were comfy, nice and warm.

We got there and the room didn't smell pleasant at all. Had a really bad smell of old fish. Was not nice. Also no milk to make hot drinks.

Location was great.

Shower had warm water for about 3 minutes then basically ran out. Small oil heater barely warmed the room up. Extremely loud what I’m assuming were residents for a mid week night drinking yelling listening to loud music late into the night.

Uncomfortable beds, basin sink didn't drain properly, lights in the bathroom not all worked, lamp next to bed didn't work.The carpet was not clean, no oven glove when using the oven, burnt my hand getting something out of the oven and only had a hand towel to use. Overall, the standard was poor.

Older motel but room was clean and tidy. Good value.
