Floors still had debris that we had to clean up, also mud marks still in the foyer and kitchen area. Some lamps were broken and a light fitting hanging out of the ceiling. Broken toilet seat and the best part was the joint we found in the kitchen drawer which our young children easily could’ve found it if we didn’t. Management was prompt in coming and removing it from the house. There’s no remote for the garage door, not the end of the world, but when you’re paying a premium for a luxury home you’d expect it to be there. In a plus, the view from all angles of the house are stunning and the theatre room was a hit for the whole family when some down time was in need.

Reviewer Comments: This was an amazing house and the view was beautiful from almost every part of the house.Enjoyed everything the house had to offer, cinema room, outdoor area with the bbq, pool table and comfortable bedrooms with decent bathrooms. Only thing to note is you need to drive into town and beaches. Parking is limited with a steep driveway and road doesn't have much space. We had a boat and jetski and it was difficult to keep out the front. Lastly, neighbours are close to the house so need to be considerate about noise. Would go again if available.

They layout was great for 5 couples and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While the property was mostly clean there were some things that were not clean and we cleaned ourselves on arrival. Also the wifi/internet was not connected. But overall we would stay here again.

Our first impressions were good and the property was as we expected only negative of starter pack was only one sachet of sugar and no milk , we expected self catering so not a problem . Only other problem was sound bar not being connected to tv in cinema room and even with IT expertise proved unsuccessful but basic sound didn't spoil our enjoyment .Cooker and BBQ all worked well and crockery cutlery and cooking utensils were adequate for our party of 10 . The modern design of the property and very large windows meant the property was very warm for winter with no need for heating . Pool table got lots of use , a great rental for family group .

Reviewer Comments: This is a great property our family loved it great views location was good the only issue was it was not very clean all the bathrooms had smear marks on the floors the kitchen bench looked like it was cleaned with the water from the floor and it could do with a good dusting I’m not one to complain but when you pay top dollar for a weekend stay I would think it would be cleaned correctly not for us to have to clean it to be able to enjoy it.

The disappointments were the cleaning was not great, there was rubbish between all the cinema chairs, cobwebs in family room, 2 toilets had not been cleaned. 2 out of the 3 Smoke Alarms did not have batteries in them. Absolutely no pantry items like oil, S&P, clingwrap etc that usually get left by people to use. If cooking for large amount of people, there was any big fry pans or casserole dishes. There was also a leaking roof that dripped in the cinema room. Downstairs bedroom is only room in house that doesn't have aircon or a fan. It needs a bit of maintenance with various items. A couple of the door locks have chipped bare timber. Overall the stay was good, but if you paying for a luxury home, you want it in A1 condition and this was not up to standard.

We found fridge space limited for 10 adults self catering as there is just one fridge/freezer. When I contacted the management company to ask if there was a second small fridge elsewhere in the property I was surprised that the suggestion was for me to go to KMART and buy an Esky. We bought ice and improvised with a large plastic container one of the group had brought with them.

Reviewer Comments: The house and property lives up the the photos and once you pull up into the driveway we just said WOW until we reached the rear deck.But the little things did take some of the shine off- After advice the coffee machine is there and you take your pods as advised, we unpack and go to make a coffee and find the coffee machine doesn’t work. After a phone call to report this the machine was replaced the nest day.- In the theatre room the sound bar and TV didn’t work, no sound, have to use the TV speakers- salt shaker was there but there was no salt in it- weeds on paths and in pot plantsWhen paying top dollar for accommodation you expect that these little things do work and are presented to match what you spend

Stunning house with magnificent views. More impressive in person than the listing presents. Sunrise and sunset views were amazing. Location offers 360 views. House is spacious with plenty of room for the 9 of us to be comfortable.

Kitchen was huge and perfect for the caterer to work his magic on our birthday dinner. Just a suggestion, more coffee mugs required for a group of 10, also the coffee machine did not work and the BBQ was in need of a clean before we used it. Overall a beautiful house with fantastic 180 degree views of Nelson Bay and the surrounding bush.

Reviewer Comments: The palace looking house siting at the corner of the hill with impressive views and very specious space every rooms , spotless clean in the kitchen and all rooms , all sheets are snow white cotton made which made the bed so comfy and warm , everything are like brand new , all of us were extremely happy with the stay . Each of us were so exciting when we arrived at 3pm in the afternoon , the golden sunset just in front of the gate which made a beautiful look picture , and the back yard with far ocean view and a lots greens surrounding the decking ....we had unforgettable happy hours there and we took a lot of photos to show our families and friends and also made video to post on media . The best thing is there are 4 bathrooms which is so convenient to us . To be honest nothing need to complain at all, we are very appreciate that the owner has left us two bottles of wine which made us feel really nice and kind. Thanks very much for such beautiful represented art designed home . I will give it a five star hotel grade .

When asked if we could help him he complained about having a car parked in the street. There were 9 of us and 4 cars so we couldn’t fit all of them in the driveway and garage. He was very entitled and we didn’t appreciate the way he spoke to us. He asked us to move the car in front of the neighbours house which would have stuck out in the middle of the street. You can tell the neighbours don’t like having this house as a rental and will let you know about it.
