Place is extremely well equipped and a great layout. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Close enough to Nelson Bay to ride your bike or pop in by car to The Little Nel or the marina for a bite to eat or activities/shopping. Supermarkets 2min away. So many things to do in the area. Best thing though was just enjoying the beach and views. We stayed during one of the Ashes test matches, so the spotlight that we could turn on to shine onto the grass and beach was awesome for the kids to keep batting into the evening.

Reviewer Comments: the house is exactly how it is in the photos; well managed and very tidy with the beach just few steps away. we had bbq outside while watching the sunset and we definitely enjoyed the paddle board available in the house. my niece loved the spa bath and there were 2 spacious bedrooms with tv, ceiling fan and ducted ac and a master’s bedroom with ensuite which screams both luxury and comfort. every detail of the house is well thought of and i admire the wall art pieces on every room.
location is great with a shopping centre nearby and just few mins drive to shoal bay for few more water activities and mt tomaree in which the view from the top is breath taking!

There are 3 beds and we only used 2 so if you have few extra kids you will be fine. Another positive is the location - apart from being right at the beach you 5 min drive to all the major shops, restaurants and recreational places. From 4WD at Anna Bay to Go Kart and more. Plenty to do when it's sunny and also when weather is not so good.

Great location and in good conditions.

Amazing property beautiful location wonderful owner I can’t describe more than for this house it was fully of all the comfortable things you need! very clean we enjoy our Easter holiday with family I advise everyone to book this wonderful house because it’s close to beach and shopping centre it was only 4 minutes away I shared this house with my friends to book it for future and sure we gonna come back again because we all love it.

Pros - stunning location - lovely house - generally very well appointed (although a king bed is desperate needed in the master bedroom at this level of accommodation) - paddle boards were an excellent inclusion Cons - there is very little privacy or sound buffering from the owners next door when you are outside - the owner’s children had an extremely loud party one afternoon/ night/ the next morning, swearing, yelling and singing drinking songs extremely loudly - this continued to some extent the next morning with loud belching, swearing and very loud conversation - we felt unable to go outside or to the water as they were so disgusting and were heckling passers by - the management company didn’t respond at all despite us ringing/ texting and emailing - the owners did eventually agree to an extra nights accommodation (which ended up not suiting our plans/ a refund for that night would have been more appropriate) but didn’t apologize despite being next door, which made us think that they weren’t overly concerned about the impact on our holiday and probably wouldn’t prevent it happening again to someone else - given that there are lots of rules about noise and visitors in terms of renting the property, we were fairly shocked that this happened Overall, a really lovely place to visit and we would book again if we could be guaranteed that there wouldn’t be any parties next door.

Great property location being right in front of the water, which is convenient for the kids. No effort required for them to have a good time. The only criticism is the house needs a printed house manual as there's lots of switches and remotes for fans, which is confusing. Also couldn't figure out how to use the grill in the oven.

Fantastic property right on the water. Townhouse was spacious and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a terrific time. The kids would wake up and play in the beach still in their pyjamas. Dinners on the back balcony under cover overlooking the water. Paddle boards are provided which were great fun, many hours spent on the water into the evening. The house had a great feel and could easily accommodate our two families (8 people).

H3 was such a beautiful home. It was extremely clean, beds comfortable, and all kitchen appliances available. It was perfect being on the beach for our little ones with the sand and the still waters. Pelican feeding out the front of H3 was a hit for the kids. It was so peaceful looking out at the scenery and boats whilst sitting in the loungeroom or out at the outdoor dining area. It was beautifully decorated as well. We will return. Thank you.

Overall amazing experience, the property has everything and the location and how quiet, private and peaceful was great. The property manager were great and available if we needed anything and made the experience and stay very welcoming. Overall would fully recommend this place to anyone.

We simply love the house, its location, its minimalist and modern look. Everything looks bright and clean. Our kids definitely love the beach right by the door. And our husbands definitely love their stand up paddling sesh in the afternoon and morning. Alex has been an amazing host for us. So, thank you!

Spent an incredible week at H3 in January 2021! Super easy check in process with prompt communication by the hosts. Feeling really relaxed after our holiday, as H3 is a great place to recharge and rejuvenate, the sunrises and sunsets simply take your breath away! It’s a picture perfect setting and sitting on the veranda sipping your tea/ coffee while watching the boats on the water was a truly remarkable experience! Great convenient location as Salamander Bay shoppping centre is a 3 minute drive with Woolworths, K-Mart, Target as well as a food court! MacDonalds, KFC and petrol stations are also located next to the shopping centre. Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay are only a short 10-12 minute drive away. Lovely amenities provided with the property, pleasantly surprised that so many of the things on my shopping list ( dish washer tablets, dishwashing liquid, paper towel roll, cling film, foil) were already provided plus a well stocked pantry containing sauces, olive oil, spices as well as tea and coffee condiments. Fantastic idea to have an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the beach. The inclusion of Stand up paddle boards x2 was greatly appreciated and utilised by my whole family ( including my 9 year old) as the waters are quite shallow and calm. Thank you Alex and Shauna for being great hosts! Will definitely be back!

highlight is the beach backyard, and owner has offer paddle boards, nothing like this in other properties, place is clean, owner is nice, worth it!

We stayed for a week at H3 and had a great time. Excellent location for family retreat at the beach and nearby all local attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended.

After a very challenging year it was a relief to get away and back to a sense of normality. H3 , a modern waterfront home over looking Corlette Bay with its sandy beach and lazy boats left the thoughts of Sydney and COVID-19 in our wake. Wether just sitting down reading a book on the sand or paddle boarding the calm waters, we could not have enjoyed our experience much more. Amenities and activities are close by, a perfect spot to explore the local area and beyond. Alex and Shauna are close by, yet so far away, great hosts that make sure that everything and everyone’s looked after.
