Staff very accommodating. Fixed issues immediately as far as cleaning issues. Minor wear and tear in bathroom that was noticeably fix.

Great atmosphere

This is one of my favorite hotels in Chicago. Beautiful views of Lake Michigan and of navy pier. Just a few minutes walk to navy pier or Michigan ave. Has nice bar and a pretty cool nightlife on Friday and Saturday nights. The rooms were very clean and spacious.

My stay at the "W" Hotel was quite enjoyable and considering it's location and hopping "Lounge", it was very quiet.

I will say the decor in the hotel was a bit much, dark dark lighting with bright yellow/orange lights. Kind of like a really dark vegas hotel. But the location and amenities made up for any decor in the hotel Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location! Not just for the view but the whole vibe of the place! Booked daily parking with Way in one of the neighbouring parking garages for $18 a day, we used our car twice. Walkable distance from everything!! 10/10 will book again, staff was great, the room was so comfortable and clean.

The staff is absolutely awful and slow. We had to ask for soap and shampoo three times before they brought it.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at the W I was in the king suite. Everything was clean and accessible. The concierge was very helpful in every way. Everything was walkable distance. The pier was across the street where I had a beautiful view from. I can’t wait to come back.

The room I had was clean but, not well taken care of. Bathroom tile pieces were falling off, no fan in the bathroom to remove the steam. I booked two queens those beds were like fulls very small. Overall staff was nice. Jasmine at the front desk was very helpful great customer service. The parking price is crazy! We used valet service, 86 dollars a day, no one asked or approached us to help with luggage. If i returned to Chicago I wont be staying here again. Im pretty picky when it comes to little details in rooms with upkeep.

Property desperately needs renovation. Booked a room with a view but there was a nest of spiders on the window so we kept the shades closed and couldn’t enjoy the view as much as we would have like for what we paid for. Shower stall looked dirty. Old furniture and fixtures. Old carpeting. Old elevators. For a W Hotel I was really disappointed

This property at one time was probably a wonderful hotel but it desperately needs renovation. The worst thing was I booked a Lakeside view room, with an upgrade for the view. Well the view was great but it was interrupted by a disgustingly amount of large spiders in the window and on the side of the window. They were everywhere so I had to keep the curtains closed so I didn’t see them and as such couldn’t enjoy the view like I wanted to. This is horrible especially since my room was on the 16th floor! How does a nest of spiders get to the 16th floor of a concrete building? Anyway, I wanted to get compensated for the lack of view but they only took off $50 of dining for one day at least. The shower tiles looked dirty so I spread a towel On the floor to take a shower. Also the room needs upgrading. The furniture was warped, water damage, old fixtures, the smoke detector wasn’t working (no light was visible that let you know that it was working. Very poor experience for a hotel that is a W and on Chicago, on the lake. Especially for the amount they charged for the room. We deserved more for our money.

I wish they would have told us. We could get a coffee maker added to the room. We asked for microwave but it wasn’t delivered. Staff service was excellent in all areas.

The hotel was beautiful. It was right near the water. It was easy to walk anywhere you wanted to. That is if you are a walker. The only thing the valet psrking was very expensive but there is a parking garage around the block that is 45 for over night parking instead of the 85. The parking garage was very small and tight to turn the corners. The pool in the hotel was nice and clean. The best thing was the view from our room where we were able to see fireworks without haveing to leave and go watch them out side
