Great location. It was also a nice to surprise to be upgraded to a suite from a King room. Historic hotel in a great area.
Could use a bit of a refresh. Nothing horrible but some things a bit worn.

All the charm of a vintage hotel. Updated within the bounds of an existing structure, the amenities and location are exceptional. The Knickerbocker staff are wonderful and the main reason we returned after staying here 5 years ago.
No negatives come to mind.

Molto pulito, personale gentilissimo, non abbiamo avuto richieste particolari o problemi, quindi tutto ok.
Molto gradite le bottiglie di acqua gratis che potevi prendere alla reception tutte le volte che volevi (un bel risparmio).
Il deposito cauzionale non è come indicato da Booking di 50USD totali, bensì di 50 AL GIORNO, quindi occhio alla disponibilità della carta di credito. In pratica le pre-autorizzano, poi se non succede niente non le addebitano (io ho guardato l'estratto conto e non c'è proprio quell'importo).
Inoltre la "Daily Resort Fee" di cui parlano quando si fa check-in online il giorno prima o il giorno dell'arrivo, è già conteggiata nel totale pagato a Booking, quindi non ve ne chiederanno di più.
Struttura datata che presenta qualche vetustà soprattutto nelle stanze, qualche mobile scheggiato, moquette non proprio perfetta, lavabo e doccia con qualche anno. Comunque andava bene perché nel complesso è un qualcosa di vecchio/affascinante, almeno per come piace a me!

It was around the corner from the beach down the street from a lot of shopping and restaurants near the 360 building east access with taxis and Ubers

Service at this place was horrible. Multiple attempts to resolve the overcharge was unsuccessful. Neither the front desk nor the GM was willing to help. Their accounting and billing department would never pick the phone. Stay away from this crooks.

The hotel is historic and quite pretty
No A/C in the room, the jets in the bath did not work. Parking was a nightmare, as it was not well coordinated and it is quite a distance away from the hotel. Also, very expensive to park.

The location is good. Room was small. Bed was fine
The hotel has not kept up with room maintenance. A very strong smell of pot was coming though the vents. We called the front desk and they said they don’t have security and the only thing they could do was spray the hallway. Had to open the window it was so strong!

Location of the hotel is excellent, and the general presentation fantastic. Why, in a twin bedded room, would the bathroom open up into the main sleeping area, so that if one person gets up to use the bathroom in the night they either have to leave the light off or wake the other person in the room? Being a glass door, the bathroom didn’t help.
I was also unimpressed the previous occupants leftovers were still boxed and sitting in the fridge when we checked in. It did make us question the overall standards of cleanliness.
It was a great example of blue mistakes the cookie rectified (better they hadn’t happened), and apologies, particularly for the food left in a room were immediate and sincere.

The Knickerbocker is a beautiful hotel and was so clean! My bed was so comfortable and the location was so safe. I would have extended my stay if I hadn’t had to get back to my real life. Amazing establishment!

Great Location, super nice people, welcoming front desk. Despite few minor comments (outdated carpets, mold) I do recommend this hotel
Carpets were clean-ish but very just old and smelled musty, also mold in the bathroom ceiling and room corners, poor air quality.

This hotel is badly in need of an update. Carpets are kind of icky and the furniture is old and beaten up.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable bed and room. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good and affordable. Overall I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very central and walking distance from a lot of downtown.
