Room was lovely. Pity that the pool was undergoing renovations as it was out of use. I specifically chose a property with a pool so my child could swim. So that was disappointing.

Hotel was amazing in Parnell. Receptionist at check in was super friendly and helpful. Room must have been recently renovated as was really modern and clean. Definitely will be staying here again.

5th stay at this hotel.
There has been ongoing construction work happening over the last year, but there was minimal noise or disruption.
It is good see improvements being made each time we come back.
We were in town for Pearl Jam.

Bed was hard as heck. Hated the bed. But everything else was good. I have a super comfy cloud 9 bed at home in te anau so. I was on the second floor, view was great.

Let’s start with the good stuff - room is neat and today, clean, and bathroom looked to be updated. Easy to get to the CBD and close proximity. Nice area around the hotel.
Now with the not so good. The young woman at the front desk at checkin did not seem interested, happy, or in a good mood. She was a bit rude (something which I don’t see often in hospitality, especially hotels at check in).

We booked this Hotel due to its proximity to the Rose Gardens and we were not let down. 2nd floor room opposite the Gardens with a great view of the Gardens - which just happen to be in full bloom at the moment. It only took 2 to 3 minutes to walk across the road for a leisurely evening stroll amongst the roses. Nice and relaxing

The last time I stayed at this hotel was before the renovations and it wasn't good - but now with the new look it is fantastic. They have done an incredible job with the design and decor and it really feels a different place altogether.

Great stay except didn't tell us about the building work being done everywhere prior to the stay, no building work during the stay which was good, as we were only there in the weekend, but during the week May be a different story

The hotel has a smell of paint and you can hear the noise from the road. Had a worst sleep ever .

Booked this room as it shows on the web site that it over looks the rose gardens but I got to look at construction beams and a tree. Little disappointed in the over sell on the website.

Great place to stay, beds were comfy and the renovations looked nice. No soundproofing at all so a bit noisy but not too bad for price.

Love it there. But Building construction beside the reception at the hotel close to our room was a bit noisy if you like to sleep in or have an afternoon rest.
If so book well away from that area in a room at the far end.

Great value for money, great location for going to something at Spark arena which is easy to get to from there, the Rose Gardens are always nice, it's quiet, free parking, the rooms are nice and spacious, and the renovations have made a big difference. Have stayed before and will be back.

Great location just off Tamaki Drive and only a few minutes walk from Spark Arena. We had a standard queen room which had been newly renovated. Very reasonable price for 2 nights.

Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast even described as continental was poor and not with the $24 per person. The best part of the hotel was the bathrooms which have been revamped recently. Just need the rest of the hotel to catch up!
