From the minute we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty. We arrived late, exhausted with two kids - one of whom was asleep. We had requested a pack ‘n play and needed it set up and ready. Alicia at the front desk (who was GREAT - Hilton, she deserves a promotion.) was aware of the request for the Pack N Play, and immediately radioed the staff to make sure it was set up & ready in our newly assigned room. It was ready immediately, and they even dimmed the lights in the room. They were very helpful with parking options if the hotel lot wasn’t convenient for us, they made sure we didn’t get stuck on a busy part of Michigan Ave heading to park, they were super friendly, they let us know about a great little market across the street… they even warned us the ATM could be touchy. The bell staff/valet staff - talk about a hard working and friendly group. Every one of them was smiling - day or night - and goofing around with my kids, one of whom loves to run circles in the revolving door. They always pointed us in the right direction and always had a smile on their faces. Even the staff at the Breakfast buffet bent over backwards to make the experience great. They were super fast and amazingly attentive. The location was fantastic, the room was fantastic, the view (Lake view), the beds were comfortable, pillows were great, thermostat in the room functioned perfectly, the pool was fantastic - warm room and warm water, clean, ton of towels. This place is great. Home run.

Check in was at 3pm and I waited 40min for my room to be ready. My family and I were very tired of walking around and wanted to check in at our time but had to wait so was berry disappointed

The room was clean. However when we booked the room it said city view but there was not. Our hotel was not ready when we checked in at 3.

First time visiting Chicago and this hotel was walkable to most places! Service was amazing and any requests for room was meet in a timely manner

Nice accommodations, kind service Breakfast is pricey

this hotel has the best location. i was near most attraction but very near to shopping, which was bad for someone who likes to shop. i hate the pay-per-night car parking but i guess the city has to make money some how. we called twice about getting plates and silverware but it finally came. the sink in our bathroom dripped not bad for us but water wasting for the environment. my room had a good view of city. the breakfast is not worth the $20/person. its the same breakfast La Quinta gives for free so i only ate once. Kudos to housekeeping, they keep that place clean and smelling good. front desk staff are super friendly and give out bottles of water generously.
