The breakfast was very disappointing. The buffet dinner/lunch was quite overpriced as per the food standard. No clear information was provided regarding the charges for kids. The checkout was time-consuming as the bill generation took a lot of time.

The hotel is rather dated (feels like it’s stuck in the 70s) but the staff is very friendly and the restaurant serves very tasty food. You can get to Taj Mahal within 30 minutes, which is fairly convenient.

Good property but kitchen service was very slow. Also, the bed mattress was not comfortable with two single mattress instead of single mattress. Management needs to improve these things.

A very respectable 62 years old hotel which still preserved and reasonbly cared facilities, safe and secure ambience, friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to everybody looking for an island of safety in a hectic city.

The star rating said 5, which is without a doubt a mistake. While the hotel did feel safe and was priced reasonably, it was quite dated and not what we expected. The rooms do not look like the photos. Also, I went with a friend and we requested a room with two twin beds, which they delivered. However, they were two twin beds pushed together sharing blankets.
The best part about the hotel was the fact that there are many little shops and vendors on premises, which made for some fun and convenient shopping.

Terrible hotel . It no way near 5 star though they claim so. Old run down dirty property. Pay a little more and you get great options in Agra. Regret. Got carried away by the Taj view claim . Only restaurant has a distant Taj view on a clear day.

Extremely poor service quality at the breakfast. Ordered some food, waited for 15 mins and then the waiter asked me to go and get it myself. Waited for 15 more mins at live counter with no success. The credit card machine wasn't working at the check-out and the check-out process took 20 mins. Didn't get the room that I expected. Overall, it's a pathetic stay, wouldn't recommend if someone's looking for 5 star hotel.

It’s not a 5 star hotel. The bathrooms were small and dirty. They were very slippery as well! Looks like they haven’t renovated since a long time

Spacious rooms. Great location; quiet, full of greenery, peaceful. Thankfully away from all the subway construction. They have a small play area for kids which they hadn't advertised on their listing so that was a pleasant surprise. Helpful staff. Good breakfast offering.
Nothing to dislike. Will stay here if I visit again.

The hotel itself was nice. Gardens around outside were lovely. Room was clean and nice. Bed was hard. The restaurant doesn't open until 7:30pm and the service was not great.

What a great hotel. Its in a lovely setting and a good base for the local attractions. Even had monkeys on the roof of the rooftop bar! Highly recommended.

We requested for smoke-free two twin bedrooms but we were given two rooms with a king bed and one room smelled of smoke. They themselves realized and changed the room. However, they never made any effort to offer us twin beds or apologize.
During check-in staff asked for passports for even 1 yr old for security reasons!! Perhaps this is the policy of the hotel.

The hotel and service were generally excellent, and of course Agra has a multitude of wonderful attractions - with the Baby Taj and Agra Fort (both wonderful to visit) as well as the incomparable Taj Mahal. The hotel had a good tour office and a nice swimming pool. The only let down was the buffet restaurant which was both too busy and disappointing, whereas the main restaurant was very nice.

As an older woman, travelling alone, I found that the hotel was a comfortable and friendly place to stay. It has retained some character and individuality with the decor.

I had booked this hotel considering it is 5 star. I would rate this as a 3 star hotel. The Hotel Lobby was nice. The morning breakfast was good. However I was utterly disappointed by the dinner experience in the Mogul Restaurant. We ordered a non-veg soup around the table. It was provided after 30 minutes of wait and was a vegetarian. Waited another 15 minutes for replacement. Waited 45 minutes more for dinner and ended up getting the wrong order again. All in all a very frustrating experience. For a 5 star hotel I would have expected better service specially at the prices of dishes in the restaurant.

Old Style Indian hotel. Family friendly, polite staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Need to update both bathroom and front doors.

Hotel is conveniently located for links and attractions. They allowed us an early check-in since we had taken morning train. Staff are very helpful, room was comfortable, the buffet downstairs is excellent. Special mention for the Travel desk Manager for all our taxi arrangements even before we had reached India!

I had heard about this hotel for a very long time from relatives who had traveled to Agra. The wifi was not free in the room, only in the lobby.
The lobby was so full, I came down and passed by a few times, but the sofas were few and far between and no place to sit and use wife.
This hotel needs to be updated!
