The stay was very convenient due to the location of the hotel and everything being near by and so close. The condition of the room was not so good. The rugs need an upgrade, and so does the bathroom. The running water was cold, but we made the best of it.

The staff is very accommodating. There were items that I had to request which should be available: dish detergent, sponge, wash cloths, lotion, etc.

The apartamento was d and outdated. Recommend it get renovated. Staff was friendly, location was excellent. Pool and Bar not in service . Overall it was a good stay . Could get great reviews if it updates apartment and pool and Bar get repaired

ESJ is a great place to stay and spend a great vacation! Yards away from the beach, 5 minutes away from the airport, lots of restaurants around, supermarket is 2 minutes away. Free Parking in the premises.

The only thing that was excellent about this place was the area around it. The beach is the backyard, all of the local shopping stores, dining options, etc. 2nd good thing was how easy parking is. Other than those 2 things, this hotel sucked! You never and I mean NEVER see housekeeping, the rug was never vacuumed, the curtains were filthy, the bathroom and kitchen were outdated, but the worst of the worst was that in a span of 1 week, there were THREE power outages each lasting about 4 hours or more. The icing on the cake was that on the last night of my stay, I encountered a ROACH. Overall I'm very disappointed in this hotel especially because 20 years ago, my family had stayed here multiple times and it used to be wonderful. Unfortunately I will never come here again.

The building is under construction/renovation but I was not aware until I got there. The electricity of first room that I was put into was going to be shut up from 8am (for 3 hours). I was only going to stay the night until 11am (check out hour), what was I supposed to do then? I talked to the receptionist who was kindly enough to change me to another room. That room was in horrible conditions (mold in the shower, old furniture, smell), great view-though. At 9am, there were some construction noises (hammers). We had to wake up and leave. Horrible experience, super expensive for what the conditions of the building and amenities are. Would not recommend.

I loved the proximity to everything. The nearness to the beach. The cleanliness of the rooms. And the hospitality is amazing. The manager and her staff upgraded our room to an ocean view room on our last night because of my honeymoon. I would definitely recommend this place, i already have and I plan on staying there again soon.

Unfortantely, we did not like this property. First of all, when you call the hotel, there is literally no answer even though there’s someone there. Our room was old, smelled like mold and the electricity went out from like 4:30 til almost 11 pm and when asked when it was coming back all they said it could take 3 hrs or it could take more. On top of that, the furniture inside the hotel was extremely run down, the hallways also smelled of mold and when I told the lady at the front desk, she acted surprised like she had no idea. Something like that does not go unsee or unadvised. I would not recommend it.

Rooms were not cleaned properly, not the same as web pictures, bad smell in hallways and rooms. Service people were nice. But the condition of hotel was horrible i will never stay in here

Not bad, great location close to the few things the island had to offer..however the pool was out of commission... but has a beautiful beach. Apart from that nothing else to see or do on the property. It offered the convenience of a kitchenette with full size stove and refrigerator to prepare meals for the family and a laundry facility for your wet beach clothes.

I felt it was false advertisement the rooms did not look how it was presented online and the room I book said queen beds they were just a full size the drive was super slow the bathrooms could of been clean better there was bed bugs

The entire time the 5th floor smelled like construction debris come to find out they were demolishing the apartment next door. Total disaster for me and my wife. Parking lot had stench of urine and puddles of garbage everywhere.

The hotel is not in very good condition, they do not have a pool, the beach is only until 7 when in the summer the sun sets later, the parking is difficult, otherwise it is very good

The floor that we stayed in smelled of an enclosed area. The room also smelled musty. There were evident mold stain throughout the room, on the curtain, walls, stove, etc.... The carpet felt damp throughout our stay there. We were informed that everything was booked and cannot obtain a room change. We had a power outage for one day, and staff kept prolonging the time of when power would return. My family along with others staying in the hotel were waiting in the lobby, without any other accommodations or updates. To add on, the pool was not accessible and most of the gym equipment was non-functional.

I ate at the little dining shop for breakfast every morning- love the staff. They were great. Staff around the hotels was also very helpful. Check in and check out was wonderful. Staff was always smiling helpful
The only thing I’m surprised about is outside of the hotel. There wasn’t a lot of shopping. You have to drive out or get an Uber out to shopping areas. But the hotel itself and the beach was wonderful. I would come back again.

The photos of the rooms at your website do not and I repeat do not depict the hotel rooms at all..the room was falling apart. Very old, no repairs made..terrible..i will never stay there again

I stayed in ESJ for 10 days with my Husband and 3 kids. I would stay there again if the pool is open (It was under construction) . I went to the beach on site, Laundry & Car washed/Vacuumed. Housekeeping came daily & replaced our towels which i loved. But trying to get the receptionist on the phone was horrible. There's plenty of places to eat around.

The ocean views were spectacular, the broken down roofs and homes around the facility were not. shower handle was defective, could not enjoy a good shower through out our stay. Sheets and pillow cases were smelly, and unit toilet had mold. Management did send someone to properly clean the unit. We went ahead to purchase new sheets and pillow cases anyways. Overall managers and staff were generally polite, follow thru not to great. This facility has great potential to become a great vaccation home away from home. They are not quite there. Facility equipment like elevators was a roll of the dice. Security was adequate. Coffee shop hours of operations was not always convenient, I belive they clised one day thru the weekend. Other dinners were within walking distance.
