Unaware that the room was an interior room right next to the pool. Also, dirty towels were left in a drawer and safe was locked upon entry.
Building engineer was helpful unlocking safe and solving door lock issue.

Pretty nice hotel. Our room was clean and well maintained. Pool was small but still nice. Overall we would stay again.

Nothing was really convenient about this property. Check in/ out was overcrowded, elevators were overcrowded, self parking was full, the pool was small and cold.

My stay here was nice and convenient. There were a restaurant and Starbucks onsite. Also, an attached parking garage. The location is great. It was walking distance to alot of shops and restaurants and also a beach. Everything was nice, but I just wished the bed was more comfortable.

Our flights got delayed and we didn’t arrive at the hotel until 00:15 after 12 hours of traveling with my 84 year old mother and 11 year old daughter. They did not have our room with 2 beds and said we forfeited the room due to our late arrival (tried to check in using the bonvoy app earlier in the day and I thought it went through but as I had booked on hotels.com they wouldn’t recognize online check-in). The manager said they probably resold our room between midnight and when we arrived at 00:15. I find that very hard to believe. I think they overbooked and penalize the people who don’t book directly with them. No rollaway bed available. We had to sleep in one bed and my daughter had to sleep on the floor. They told us we were welcome to look for a different hotel. Then the next day we had to move into a 2- bed room. I had already paid online for all 3 nights- it was extremely frustrating and the manager was horrible.

Not 4 stars hotel, it is low than Average, don’t expect much at all.

Restaurant service is not acceptable.
We went for dinner at the hotel Restaurant and was told it would be a 30 - 45 mon wait when the restaurant only had 3 tables seated.
The girl was unfriendly and noticed 3 wait staff standing around on their phones.

From the moment i walked in, the friendliness began. All staff was helpful and friendly. I stayed during a period where there was tornado warnings and ibwas quite concerned, however one staff who saw me pacing in the hall took a moment to calm me down and talk to me. Love that a starbucks is on site as well!

Great stay, close to the L for easy access to Wrigley, in-and-out parking for comparatively good rate.

In more years than I care to admit, I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels here and abroad. Never have I had a more comfortable bed nor met a more consistently kind, effective, efficient and glorious staff! I will DEFINITELY return. Kudos all around!!!!

Great hotel and location. Staff was super nice. The walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in the hallway; which is difficult at night when people come back late. We also didn't like that the cleaning staff had a radio they were listening to, and boy they were really banging doors. Again, with thin walls, it was a wakeup alarm we really didn't want.

Our first night was great. The second night the smoke detector kept randomly going off after midnight. Then consistently for an hour. They came and tried to fix one but it was the other detector which they apparently couldn’t fix. But didn’t tell us until after waiting for 30 minutes for them to come back, all while hearing the beeping. Then at 2:30 am we had to change rooms, 7 floors up. The whole situation was very frustrating.

Young lady at front desk was very rude and dismissive when advising of parking confusion. Hotel felt very stuffy like AC wasn’t working. No one greeted us as we walked in.

Hotel is conveniently located to all attractions, close to the bus stop and metro - walking distance. We could walk most places . Pretty clean and feels safe.
The only thing that we didn’t like that we stayed on the 10th floor and our windows looked at the pool with no sunlight, it felt gloomy inside . You couldn’t see the pool or outside through the faded glass. Avoid 10th floor.

The rooms and staff were good. The area around the hotel is great for tourists. However, one morning with our 1 year daughter the doors to an elevator were opened to a pile of feces. It completely ruined the stay. When we told the front desk, the rep just said ok we will look at it. The response was not apologetic or one of surpise. Considering we had a child with us I expected a more empathetic response with more urgency to the situation.
