We enjoyed our three night stay so much. Stuff were so helpful and nice. They always happy to help when we have any questions. Breakfast was good, more than enough choices! We would recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had a very comfortable stay, the bed is super comfy.
Staff were very welcoming and detailed in their explanation to us. The location of the hotel is great as it is very near tourist attractions with eateries and shops nearby.
Look forward to staying again.

Great hotel and staffs were so nice. From the first floor at the reception and the rooftop restaurant, every staff was very supportive and gave so much love and help to the guests. Especially Ruby at the reception is amazing! She helped me get around in Vietnam during my stay, even after I checked out! If ever going back to Hanoi, I will definitely stay at this hotel to meet this great receptionist and concierge to know Hanoi more.

The staff here were amazing!! Very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is in a local food market which was good to see culture. Short walk to the lake and nightlife. Nice rooftop bar. Overall great start to hanoi

Although it was just a one-night layover before we headed home..our family stay was very comfortable. Ruby at front desk provided my family and I with a nice size family suite for our stay. The hotel is also located in a prime location so getting last min shopping and finding a restaurant was no problem at all.

Good location and very near to tourist attractions. Amazing view from the roof top bar and breakfast buffet is awesome. Staffs are very nice especially Ms. Ruby who gaves us tips where to go and where to eat. She is very helpful and messaged us everyday if we need something. I will recommend San Gran to my friends.

The old quarter of Hanoi is a wonderful place to stay and visit and the staff at the San Grand were all outstanding. I’d definitely stay there again.

Great central location in Hanoi. Clean room. Very comfortable beds. Rooms are small but quiet. Air con worked great. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. Lots of options.

A great location in the old city the hotel and staff we would highly recomend. Kylie gave lots of help, advice and organised quality transport to and from the airport. Will certainly use this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay at the San Grand Hotel. The staff could not have been nicer. The location was very walkable in the old quarter and very close to the lake. The included breakfast was very good. They were able to store our large suitcases while we were on a Halong Bay cruise.

We were after Vietnamese culture immersion. It is literally in front of the door. We love staying here for a week. We were here at San Grand hotel Hanoi with my wife, i will come back with my wife and kids next time. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Kylie and San Grand Hotel.

The service and amenities are excellent. The excellent staff helped us solve a Halong Bay booking problem. We only stayed for one night and wanted to extend our stay but they were sold out.

A great location with excellent service. Nice rooms and a delicious breakfast. Anything we needed was immediately provided. We stayed here for 7 days, 3 before and 4 after a Ha Long visit. Would have gladly stayed longer and will come back.

Enjoyable stay in Hanoi and the hotel was close to the majority of the sites. Helpful and friendly staff and my room was spacious enough for a single traveller. Rooftop restaurant had excellent views. Just a shame that the room upgrade was not available. Expedia needs to look into this, as rarely have I been able to take advantage of this supposed 'perk'. Hotels should provide an alternative should a room upgrade not be available.

Beautiful facility. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Roof top bar was stunning. Morning breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had. Only downside was that our transport van cannot access the street, it is too narrow, but only short half block walk to reach it.

That was my favorite Hotel in Hanoi !! Everything nearby. In the middle of the older Quarter where you have Hoan Kiem Lac face to the Hotel. The hotel is a high clean Hotel . The front desk staff were friendly and warmly from your arrival to your departure. You really feel at home in a place like this hotel . I highly recommended this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay in Hanoi. Lovely staff !!!! Appreciated !!

The free buffet breakfast option is excellent. They also have free tea with cake and fruits between 2:30 and five in the afternoon. Most people miss this, however, if you stay in Hanoi, this is a nice break in mid afternoon.
Hotel itself is very nice, very clean, just watch for the room they are giving you - as you may sometimes get worse room that you paid for which was the case with us during our first stay there before Ha Long Bay.
Anyways, overall well worth the visit and the money we paid for.
Also - very difficult to beat their view from their restaurant and sky bar:)
