Ja fiquei varias vezes neste hotel, pela excelente localização, e obvio que pela situação de restrição á pandemia, foram tambem reduzidos o pessoal e serviços, um dia não arrumaram o quarto nem trocaram as toalhas. porem há o esforço das pessoas em ajudar.recomendo sim pelo custo e beneficios.

What an amazing hotel! Decided to book based on previous reviews and it was even better than expected! The rooms were spacious and clean, the hotel staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and were always willing to assist, despite the language barrier. Buffet breakfast was delicious! Location of property perfect - close to many restaurants and shops, with a 24 hour pharmacy/ convenience store situated directly opposite.

We enjoyed it so much. It is a very nice hotel. Would recommend it to anyone

We stayed at the hotel for one night - really to transit through the city. It was good value during a busy time of the season but it's an old hotel. Pros -Service was very good and friendly. -Good value - wasn't expensive. -Very nice pool. -Strong shower water pressure. -Nice area - amazing pizza + pasta restaurant across the street. Cons -Old building that had a vey bad smell throughout. -Room was small and bed mattress was not great. -AC wasn't great - just good. -Room smelled bad. -Breakfast was not good.

Nice hotel. It is starting to show signs of disrepair. The pool waterfall wasn't working. Water stains on the outside building walls and around the pool plant area. Duche hoses do not work properly. Could have a comfortable chair in the room. Also there could be some close hooks on the wall so clothes could be hung up so everything has to be thrown on the floor. .

Well located hotel that was sufficient for x3 friends. Value was worthwhile, nothing to extraordinary about this hotel.

We booked a family room the first night which was clean and pleasant but a little dated but the second night we had booked two double rooms overlooking the pool area as the family room wasn’t available and these were very modern and lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Pool area was lovely. I had the feeling the hotel was well run. I would definitely recommend it.

The main draw is the Falls. Area was ok but didn't compare to previous stops on our trip. The falls however lived up to our very high expectations of them!

stayed 3 nights to visit falls. good transport facilities to visit places. good breakfast as a tourist I did not look for any luxury .I did not feel any problem during my stay

The pool looked nice, though we did not have time to use it. The receptionists barely spoke English and not very friendly. The food in the restaurant was quite bad. Nothing tasty for breakfast, but lots of choices. Bathroom was run down. Though a good location if you are staying in the center rather than by the falls.

The service was excellent. The breakfast was good, although the juices were less than to be expected in Brazil. The rooms were very clean and kept up. The beds were hard (as is common in Brazil).

Our experience at Hotel Rafain Centro was excellent. The location of the hotel in the centre of Foz do Iguazu, but not too far from the Iguazu Falls, is very good.

The hotel is located just uphill from the centre of the town with only a short walk to a bus stop which can take you to either side of the falls. The room was OK but the windows were very thin and we were road side of the hotel so it got quite nosiy when there was traffic. The bed was a double comprising two single matresses, one of which was hopeless although I could at least change this for the one on the spare single bed in the room. On the upside it had excellent air-conditioning. Very few of the staff have great English although if you have Spanish this seems to also be widely spoken as well as the native Portuguese. Breakfast was OK but not spectacular - great coffee but poor juice. Nice hot buffet but poor breads.

The decor of the rooms hasn't been touched the 1970s, so I was a bit leery. And they have the typical problem of Brazilian hotels of stiff mattresses, but on the plus side they had wireless in the rooms (72 hours for 6 dollars), and balconies on every room I could see (which wasn't mentioned on Expedia, so a nice surprise). But you're not in Iguassu for the hotel - you're there for the Falls. Still, the restaurant is good and the complimentary breakfast is a huge buffet of hot and cold foods, fresh juices, etc. (no sawdusty muffins masquerading as a continental breakfast here). The pool is large and clean. The staff are friendly, and the ones at reception speak excellent English. Perhaps most importantly, though, the tour operator (Louturismo) who sells packages (shuttles to the Brazilian and Argentine Falls, helicopter rides, boat trips, etc.) in the lobby is a really good and reliable operator. Vinicius was the rep and he was very helpful and friendly (which is probably why I still remember his name.) Every hotel has one of these companies, but other tourists complained endlessly about the ones in their hotels. Their guides didn't even try to speak English or were unprofessional, tardy, or rude. I had wonderful experiences with every guide I had through Louturismo. They made everything about this trip memorable and took all of the hassle out sightseeing. If I go back again, I will definitely stay at Hotel Rafain.
